I have been going to Brighton auto repair for a few years where they have serviced of my older model Buick. The service is exceptional. Mechanics are knowledgeable. My car was always ready on time and their prices are reasonable.

I went to another shop when my car stop running the guy didnt know what was wrong .My brother told me take your car to Brighton he said they do good work .I totally agree !I highly recommend this shop for transmission work.

Had the worst experience here.I do not recommend this place at all after the manager told me I could take my car and leave after I spent $1,000+ to fix a problem that was not even fixed. Beware they will talk you into gettig extra work done on your car, even when you don’t even need it.

I have a Volvo and I look around town and no one could fix it until I took it to Brighton Auto, not only did they fix it but the customer service/ (Bill) very informative, communicative and friendly.

Afro-American and white customers stay away from that business they over charging and cheating customers as much as they can my car needed a auxiliary battery they diagnose it and charged me 800.00 without the battery I asked them why so much he said Bill the merchant that it took him that much time to find the problem he suggested I buy a battery he wanted 239.82 I purchased it at Reilly 5yr warranty 107.00 and I paid 800.00 to Brighton automotive to get my vehicle. I find writing bad reviews very petty, but it’s a good way to get things of your chest. I brought in my infiniti g37 for a check engine light and their diagnostic was that it had a manifold leak. I said alright let’s fix that. I looked online and the part was around 300 dollars; I was charged 1000 dollars for the job. They kept the car for a week and I trusted them since I was recommended by a friend and since they specialize in foreign cars. I got the car back and by the next day the check engine light popped up again. We did get a 90 day guarantee and so I called them back and they told me to take the car back that they were going to run another diagnostic. I took it back and they kept it for another week and I was waiting for another call back, but it was until I called that they said they were going to swap the air sensors to see if the trouble code would move to another bank. I picked the car up and it was still the same with the same trouble code number. I called them back and they told me that they had done and checked a lot of things and long story short they did not want to keep working on it for free. They told me that the other reason MIGHT be the catalytic, but I would have to pay again for all the work not acknowledging the guarantee. They told me that the piece was around 900, but I found the part for around 600 and it’s not so much about the money, but I was expecting them to say that they would cover the work if I bought the part, but they told me that it was way too much work and they could not do that for free. By this point I was frustrated and decided that I was no longer going to take it back to them. I had wasted enough money already and just the fact that they did not honor their 90 day guarantee was enough. Do any of you know about a good mechanic shop were I can take my car to? Very fraudulent group of guys. long story short, they did not fix ANYTHING.The parts i was quoted for and paid for werent put in. when i took the car to y other mechanic he said nothing here has been touched. And i believe it because bill told me he topped up the coolant, but i checked, coolant was the same level i left it.Whats-more, they claim to have test driven car for 50miles to ensure it is working, but as you can see from the picture, they exposed themselves! my odometer reads the same as when it was dropped off! so they actually probably just let my car stay in their shop for a week doing nothing and billing me 1500 !STAY AWAY! Especially the old man Bill.

I saw the many bad reviews here but decided to give it a shot because they literally live down the street from me. But oh i wish i listened to the reviews! they had my car for over 2 weeks and didnt fix the problem! instead of them to tell me from day 1, they kept the car for 2weeks and still charged me like they fixed it!i took it to my uncles mechanic and he got the job done in 1 day! speaks a lot about the lack of competence of these guys!

Wasted my time and money coming here. I had gone to another mechanic and they told me I needed a new computer in my mustang. The fix would be $2,000. I said yikes and looked for a cheaper price. Brighton automotive said, you dont need a new computer, we can fix it, no problem charged me $1,200. Great! After spending that money, they said that didnt work so let me try this instead that happened around 3 more times. Next thing I knew, I ended spending over $2000 in labor and parts, they kept my mustang for over a month and the problem was not fixed. Great people but if I could do it all over again, I would avoid them.

These guys are the best, very professional and the work is second to none. My sister just got her car repaired there and she is very happy with Brighton and especially Bill. I look forward to restoring a Mazda RX-7 this year by Bill and his gang.

Got paid for repairs but didnt fix problemReply: thats not even halfway true you neve replaced the catalyst converter they dont go bad in a year .. They same one you claimed to fix is the same one with the problem ...you never replaced it I never told you I went anywhere else . why should I have to pay someone to fix what you said you had already done .. I myself changed my 02 sensors. Then you want me to pay you 100 to look at something you never fixed ...which is the one under my hood and you broke my air duct when you claimed to fix it.. just bad businessNot to mention you never fixed the leak either cause its still there .you just dont know what you are doing

Last new year eve afternoon ( when most shops were almost closing) my car had a problem that prevented it from moving smoothly! I tried to reach my regular automotive shop but it was closed. My friend sent me thisbrighton automotive inc address and I went there. Honestly, I didn’t expect that much I just wanted my car to survive until next day so I can fix it in my regular automotive shop. long story short, these shop and guys deserve million stars !Excellent automotive experience,fast response, high quality service, reasonable price and guess what, they follow up with you next days to check if every thing ok!

Took my jeep here because it would stall and had no power. When I brought it in, I let them know I just did a basic tune-up. They said ok that they would check my check engine light with the computer. A week passed that I didnt hear from them so I called. They told me they didnt have the computer so they had to find one to check my jeep. 3 more weeks had passed and hadnt heard from them so again I called to find out what was going on. Same story they said they didnt have the computer but this time they said they will re-check the work I did to see if anything was wrong. Long story short and more then a month later found out it was a bad fuel pump that have could taken a day or two to diagnose. When they told me the price would be $500 I agreed but when I got to the shop when the work was done they were charging a little more then $1000 because they said they were doing adjustments under the hood and rechecking my work! These guys will rip you off! Never felt so cheated in my life!

I have been coming to Brighton auto for parts for about 13 years. They have the lowest price around on BMW, Mercedes,Audi and VW parts. There service department is knowledgeable and trust worthy.

Stay far away from these crooks. they will fix one thing and undo another thing for you to come back

All mechanics and supervisors were very friendly and told me upfront about the costs associated with the diagnostic and then when Bill figured it out he helped me fix the problem without trying to gauge me for changing out my cars whole engine!   Awesome service. This is by far the worst shop Ive ever been to. To make a very long story short. When I took my car in it was drivable. After they did so called repairs its no longer drivable and being towed around. They know nothing about how to fix a newer model BMW. They couldnt even tell me which break sensor needed to be replaced. I wouldnt advise anyone to go there unless you want to deal with your car being kept for a week, your bill being more than the quote, misdiagnosing you and ending up in court. Save yourself the headache!

GREAT SERVICE AT A HONEST COST-Trust worthy guys and great work- I brought a truck that would not work and no one could get it to turn on, rather than just putting in random parts they made sure to figure out the problem and get the truck to work. Thank you Bill
