Needed an anode rod for my GE Geospring water heater, and even though these guys did not have the part in stock to sell me, they told me the exact model # of the part I needed to buy and I was then able to find what I needed to keep my water heater running. Very helpful folks and will definitely do business when I am in need of any future parts for any of my appliances.

I ordered the wrong part. I know that was my fault. But I tried to return it and they tried to make me pay shipping and a restocking fee. the part only cost me $45.84 with free shipping. When I tried to ship it back, the cheapest shipping was $51. more that what the part was worth. Id lose money trying to send it back. They obviously get better shipping rates but would not allow me to purchase a shipping label through them in order to return the product. So now Im stuck with the wrong part. I posted a bad review on my facebook page and the customer service agent started arguing with me on my post that its my fault. very unprofessional. Well duh! but 99% of other companies allow you to return the part if you make a mistake and order the wrong one. Im not asking for anything for free. Id pay the return shipping if they would make it reasonable. never used them again.

They were hired by Choice Home Warranty to repair my Ice Maker. 4 weeks of scheduling, canceling, changing days with an hour notice, lying about showing up when they didn’t, then confirming the last appointment today, only to eventually contact Choice Home Warranty and say that I am the problem. Really? Really?Never use them! They won’t return calls, keep appointments, or be truthful . Destined to go out of business.

I needed a part for boiler on a Monday. Paid for 2 day shipping. As of Wednesday I received no tracking number or email that it was even shipped. I contacted them and they called me back and said they wouldn’t get part in till Friday or Monday and would ship out when they get it. I explained that if they could not have completed the order in a timely manner, then why didn’t they email me or call me. I have been with out heat and that is why I paid for the extra shipping. Very disappointed with the customer service or should I say lack off.

I paid $60 for FedEx shipping.They used Postal Service instead.I asked them to remedy this, which they never did.Its nice of them to offer options in shipping speed. It is out right bad customer service to ignore the shipping option, and the customer complaint afterwards. Will NOT use again.

No need to get into details of my experience at MAP, but suffice to say that I was very happy that Neil took ownership of my situation and made sure I was able to complete my job on time. I wish i could have given 0 star just waste of time and money. Ridiculous company. i order a part in January have not received it yet. upon inquiry a guy said he cannot help and i should check with my local postal service and they are in business for last 25 years. when i ask about refund they said once they receive the part back so now i have no part and not got any refund yet its been 2 months. i received an email about a refund reciept on march 2nd but my bank is showing no credit even after a week

Never a good experience dealing with Midwest Appliance Parts. Would rather go to the dentist and get my teeth pulled. They are rude and not helpful at all. Guy stands outside and will not help you at all. Not sure how they stay in business when there are so many other appliance places that know how to treat customers. Better places that have been around for decades and actually have parking. I buy lots of parts and gave them multiple chances and I get disappointed every time.

Do not order from this company! The customer service is terrible. Employees are arrogant and unhelpful. This involves a wrong part which I ordered using their software and the part number on the original part. They told me to return it with a form and they would get the correct part to me. Two weeks have gone by and they refuse to look for the returned part. I will never use this Company again. Pay more and deal with a reputable, helpful firm!

Next day I got an email that the part is now back ordered at least 2 weeks, I have sent 3 emails to cancel with no response. They took the money out of my account asap so they should be willing to communicate about my order in a timely fashion!

I needed a part for my Maytag oven and scoured the internet and for some reason could not find that particulkar part. I was stumped as to why that may be. I tried calling Maytag and it looked like the only option for a timely response was a live chat. After filling out all the requested information I was informed I was 29th in line. At this point I was stumped and did the old fashioned communication method. I called Midwest. Neil answered the call and was very informative. He explained my options and after determining that he does not sell that part he gave me some great options. In this day and age I value customer service. What a great company to do business with. I tried to get what I needed via Ebay and Amazon and it would take 7 -10 days. I ordered the part and it never came. I did get a refund but still no part. I needed the part like now. They (mapc) had the part I needed in stock. Theirs was a new part less then Ebay or Amazon wanted for a used price. The online price was less the the pick up price. So I drove 85 miles to get it. when I told the guy I drove 85 miles he gave me the online price. which was about a $30 savings This place really cares about customers and customer service. I highly recommend this place. Good price great service.

I needed a part for my 13-year-old refrigerator and after much price comparison online, I found Midwest Appliance Parts. They definitely had the best price that I could find. After waiting several days, I received no email confirmation of my order, so I called and was told the shipment was delayed. Called back a week later and while the website was showing that my order had shipped, in fact, it had not, but it was finally shipped to me the next day.All told, it took 23 days to fulfill my order, which was not disclosed at time of order. So, Ive taken off one star for lack of communication, and long wait time. I will say that both times I called, I was received positively and did not feel that my calls were unwelcome, though no explanation was provided for why my order was taking so long.When my order arrived, I installed the part and it was a genuine manufacturers part and a perfect replacement fit. That said, and I have to be honest here, I knew exactly which part I needed and had researched it well prior to ordering online.In conclusion, if you are looking for the best price, and you know which part you need (no guessing allowed!) and you can and are willing to wait indefinitely (as in, you probably shouldnt order a furnace igniter for an older furnace in January if you need it now to heat your home), Midwest Appliance Parts will accomplish your goal. If you need the part quickly, you should probably not order online but call instead to make sure they can fill your order quickly, or source your part elsewhere and possibly, locally. Overall a positive experience but I wanted to address some of the comments I saw in other reviews by comparing with my own experience.

I placed an order online for a coil for a furnace. Order was placed on 12/27. I paid extra for 2 day shipping. Part arrived 1/3/20. In the mean time I found out this part was not my problem. I fixed it and tried to return the coil that was brand new never even removed from the box, as it says when you’re buying on their site “30 day returns” but doesn’t explain the 25% restocking fee unless you read the fine print on their website. This I learned when I called to send it back. So it took 8 days to get when I paid for 2 day shipping and got whacked with a restocking fee on an item I didn’t even open. Would not do business with again. In this day and age where the amount of sellers are copious a place that does business like this will be closing its doors with these kind of business practices. Not a great look guys.

Went to customer house needed parts went there that was the closest one omg biggest mistake in my entire life . horrible customer service U are standing out side the door they sell you parts over phone and charge you over the phone and people still line up there that’s why they think they are the only one in Chicago this was my first time and will be last too I would drive all the to Evanston to get parts not here I think people should boycott them plus if you want to return good luck ..

I e-mailed a question and had a response back the same day. I ordered the ref. door part for half the price of most places. I had them ship it priority mail and I had the part in a couple days. Perfect. Hopefully, nothing else will get busted, but we know that wont happen. So I guess I will probably be ordering from them again.

If I could give zero stars I would. These people know nothing about customer Service. I ordered a part for my stove, which arrived in poor shape, in a box with no packing slip or other paperwork, and no packing material. The brackets were bent, and the part looked like it had already been used. It also is not a true match for my original part. In a few days, I called to talk to the specific person who could help me. He proceeded to tell me that maybe my stove was broken and thats why the replacement part did not do exactly what the original part does. I assure you, my stove is not broken. The conversation went downhill from there. Unknown to me, the first person started an order for a second replacement. I did not ask for that nor had I authorized that with my credit card. The staff was generally rude and was not listening to what I was saying. I did request a price adjustment because the part does not work the same as the original it is supposed to be replacing. There is no mention of reduced function with the replacement part. The customer service person simply said Thats not going to happen. Very unprofessional and rude. They do not deserve your business.

I ordered a blower, a blower wheel, and a capacitor for my HVAC. Their website said the shipping was free with my order. I paid an extra $40 for 2 day shipping. After 2 days my order hadnt even shipped. After I emailed them to find out why my order hadnt shipped, they said it was oversized and would cost an extra $100 for 2 day shipping. They wouldnt even refund the $40 I paid for 2 day shipping. It took 8 days to get my parts. Be aware that they wont stand by the prices and shipping terms you thought you were getting when you paid for them on their website.

Needed a JAZZ control board for our 11 year old Amana bottom freezer fridge. Midwest had a good price on the part and we received it in two days. The fridge is finally defrosting properly again after becoming erratic over the last year. Very good service and I would definitely order from them again. This is the second time I have dealt with the company; living on the Big Island of Hawaii can make it QUITE difficult to get required parts (for anything) and a fair price! This place is horrible firs to return a part that dont fit my refrigerator I have to pay 9 dollars to sen it back and they charge me 25% of what I pay for the part.They tell me for restocking. I occasionally read reviews -- wish I had done it before spending money on a part they never delivered. I ordered a part and never received it -- after MONTHS of asking & begging for a replacement, their customer service guy emailed me to get a lawyer. I paid immediately for the part when I ordered it and their customer service is HORRIBLE. Stay away from this group -- I am out the part and the loss of the freezers contents waiting for the part that never arrived (over 2 months and still counting)... the payment was taken out of my account with in minutes of ordering online. Now, I have to get a lawyer -- I am disabled and on a fixed income so this will and has cost me more than a new freezer. Live and learn... and avoid this place like the plague.And I would give them negative or zero stars but this programs lowest default level is 1 star -- they dont even deserve a ZERO star! I really equate them with Vaudeville -- what you see is not what you get. Ill be following up with the BBB as well as the Illinois Attorney Generals Office with fraud charges.Again, unless you would unroll your car window and toss out twenty dollar bills... find a reputable replacement part place the first time around even if they charge a few bucks more... because I still have to find one now and am out the cost of a new chest freezer equivalent to my expenses...

I purchased a part from them only to realize it was the wrong part. when I tried to return it, the owner advised I installed the part and no refund would be provided. I never installed the part because it was literally impossible to install... IT WAS THE WRONG PART.After a few emails back and forth, I realized I was getting nowhere. owner clearly wasnt going to refund the part, and furthermore....kept the part unless I was willing to pay for shipping (a 3rd time) to get a part back that I couldnt use... so ridiculous.Anyways, dont use them. be sure you spend the extra few $ somewhere else with a company that provides better customer care.Read the 1 star reviews, not the 5 star reviews all written on the same day... probably from the same scam artists who wouldnt return my part.I will happily adjust my star rating upon refund, but cannot let this go unnoticed.

So I had ordered a refrigerator part from them and it happened to be the wrong part I needed. Upon returning the item they didnt cover the shipping cost, no big deal it was my bad, but then they went on to charge me a 25% restocking fee for this small item. I have returned or canceled order on other items with different companies and wasnt ever charged a restock fee. So I left feed back saying I wasnt pleased. So what do they do, they call me an idiot for not ordering the right part. Later on a manager calls me and tells me hes sorry for what happened and that if I removed the negative feedback they would waive the fee. So I have Amazon whom I ordered the part through remove both my feedback and their employees feedback. They never refunded the restock fee and when I called them about it they simply said since I had Amazon remove the comment they werent going to refund me the money, once again said I was an idiot for having ordered the wrong part and then hung up the phone on me. They basically only told me what I wanted to hear so a negative response would be removed, I wonder how many other people they did that too as well. Worst experience Ive ever had as a customer and I will gladly spend a few more bucks to never have to use these guys again.

I purchased a part from the Midwest Appliance Parts website because they offered a low price. A few hours after placing the order, I realized that I no longer needed the part. This is when I found out that they have1. nonexistent customer service: Live Help is never online; both phone numbers listed failed to go through when I called during business hours. I ended up sending an e-mail to them that never got a reply.2. no receipt form: nothing in e-mail or spam folder... the only e-mail I received from Midwest Appliance was the shipping notification, which came 7 days after my purchase (see #3)3. ridiculous shipping delay: the 2-3 day shipping claim is utterly false. The e-mail informing me that my order had been shipped came 7 days after my date of purchase.4. a 25% restocking fee + shipping/handling fees.It was my fault for canceling the order, but I have made many attempts to contact the company. My (unwanted) order ended up arriving about 10 days after I asked them not to send it. The lack of response and disregard for customer service from this company has me fuming.

I paid the expedited shipping and they did shipped it next day, but they shipped it at a speed that would up being slower than UPS Ground. After the item was received I asked for a refund on the expedited shipping and they cut off all communications. Worst experience ever ordering anything off the Internet. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for my oven part to get hear. First gave me an order confirmation than said it shipped. So waited a week. Nothing... Called the guy said the part was never shipped but was going to be shipped the next day. So waited another week(week 2). I call on week three, lost order and said it shipped but never got any tracking info. Now I am being put through the paces to try and figure out where my order is. Ill say that this place has a good selection of parts and the shipping was pretty quick, but thats about the only positives I can go with. If you order a part, you better be 100% sure its the right thing. If its not the part you need, for whatever reason, you arent likely to get a refund. The only way to see if youll get a refund is to pay to ship it back, then wait. If denied, you just paid for shipping a second time and you dont have the part. You can pay for shipping a third time to get it back, or you can just eat it and know itll probably be sold as a refurbished product. We learned these lessons the hard way and are out $100, and ended up buying a new dryer anyway.

Ordered a part for a DIY oven repair (needed to replace a controller) because the prices the repairman quoted were about $100 more than what this site was charging. I called on Tuesday and was told I would receive on Tuesday. I never received it. I looked up the tracking number and it will he delivered on Wednesday. I didnt order anything from Midwest Appliance, but somehow a box I sent to my son and his wife for Easter (containing candy and $200 cash in plastic Easter eggs) ended up on Lou Kapzs desk. Wish I could give them a zero. Ridiculous customer service. I looked up my model washer and ordered the replacement pcb board part from them - it is 96% identical to mine but with slight variances on board itself. Found the exact board I needed (now aware there are 2 versions) used on eBay for 1/2 the price which also comes with a year guarantee (after I could not find the correct part on Midwest website). Worked perfect. Called to return the new board that was incorrect from Midwest - and was told it is now used and was not even offered a restocking fee return, just told that I can try and return but most likely will be seen as used (plugged in once) and that they would throw in trash and not be issued a refund! Seriously? A $180 new samsung pcb board is now trash? I guarantee they would not throw it in the trash. Based on others reviews and not getting refunds processed, I guess I will try and sell on eBay. How do they not understand that solid customer service turns into repeat business??? I mean charge me the restock fee for my mistake and then sell the part to someone else that needs that part and your making even more $ on it - its not rocket science!

AWFUL! The prices are good but the service is terrible. They lied about shipping and didnt contact me to let me know that a week later it still hadnt shipped. They did obviously charge me and take their money but it wasnt until I called to find out where my parts were that I found out that the shipment confirmation from a week prior was complete B.S. and that it was shipping the day I called. There was no attempt to make it right and really no feeling that they even cared. Simply well you should see it in the next few days So we got to go to the laundry mat to do our 2 weeks worth of clothes while we continued to wait for the parts we could have and should have had a week earlier. BEWARE!!!

Looked up a gas valve online at 7 am in the morning took a screen shot of price of $165 wrote them an email that I would be in for this valve Matt answered with ok but the price is $187 so I go online to see what happened and the price was jacked up to $207. Went in to see Matt on my lunch time and he told me They sell wholesale at a cheaper rate, I understand that, so I left, he went outside after me, tapped on my windshield as I was leaving and made up some BS about IT issues and offered me a 10percent discount off the 187..anyway I ordered on Amazon for $127 new. Buyer beware take screen shots of the price. And dont email them and tell them you want something because they are not honest and will jack up the price. To bad its one of the only appliance stores around for us city people in Chicago. Wont ever do business again with them. Will use Amazon instead.

Part came promptly, but was wrong part. After several failed email attempts I got ahold of a customer service rep. Let in him know I can not get my email with pictures to him. Even when I hit reply to sender. I called and talked to him three times. In the last email I got from him stated that I ordered the wrong part. And I gave them the wrong information. Since then I called twice. Once I was told he was on lunch, and the second I was told he was with a customer. So I waited a hour and no response. So I emailed the owner. It has been thirty hours later and still no reply. Ive worked in customer service for 17 years for a very large company. If this issue hit my owners desk they would respond right away themselves. Right now I wouldnt recommend this company to anybody. I sorry I was so apologetic to this company on the phone since they wanted to turn it around and make it look like my fault. Which it looks like they have used this line before. That exact part number only brings up this part no mater whos website you look on.

Couldnt be better. Found the part via Google, Midwest had a very low price and is in my area, plus I had a previous good experience with them. Part arrived very quickly, in the most thorough packaging Ive ever seen, and was the correct part - with these oven igniters that can be tricky, Ive previously had to return wrong parts from other sellers.

My glass tray for my Advantium oven broke, which left us without the ability to microwave. I ordered the part from Midwest Appliance Parts and it was on my door step 2 days later! Id highly recommend using this company. Just make sure you know that youre ordering the correct part first.

Wish I could give a zero star. This people know nothing about customer Service. I ordered a part for my refrigerator, I received a completely different part. Called several times, and they kept giving excuses for the right order. They asked me to call back while they kept moving the date I could get shipping info from the manufacturer. It was extremely horrible to say the least....Please, NEVER purchase anything from these guys...they are a dropshipping fraud.
