My experience with fineline collision was not the best. I have a 2018 chevy. I got into my accident in October and did not receive my car back till late December. They called me to pick up my car but the car with full of paint. (They said it came in like that but this was my first accident with this vehicle) and the door that they replaced was not put on correctly. They called me to pick it up about 3 to 5 days later and still paint everywhere. I took it this time and went for a car wash. The trunk was leaking. So I call my insurance and they said to take it back. After all was done, I received my car on a Friday by Saturday the next day my lights were going off. I had to take it to a different dealership, which told my the sensor were not done correctly so they needed to be replaced again because of water damage. They took care of the cost and the did send it to a detail shop (paint is still on my seats) They also reimburse me for a car rental for the last week that they had it. The people were not disrespectful but also didnt take accountability for what they have done. (Saying the paint was milk.) Im glade I got my car back, but I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, I spoke with her a handful of times before and after bringing my Jeep in for repairs and she was able to answer all questions and concerns I had each time! I went in just a short time ago to pick up my Jeep and as always the front desk lady was very friendly as well as the mechanic who worked on my Jeep. They kept me updated with the process and worked quickly. Over all was a great experience and I will definitely return if I have any future problems.

The staff was super cool and professional at the same time. They made sure all my repairs were complete and provided top of the line service! This was my first time going through a collision repair but Fine Line did an amazing job start to finish! Definitely would recommend to any of my friends!

DO NOT USE THEM FOR COLLISION DAMAGE. They are unreliable, hard to get a hold of them. My car was brand new, had about 3,000miles before I was hit. My car sat in their lot for 4 months (partial fault of the insurance company). It was a $10k repair and they half-a$$ed it. A lot of things they didn’t fix or fixed very poorly. They applied OLD parts. Old parts on a new car, really? They are rough because I have all sorts of cosmetic issues that shouldn’t be there because the car is BRAND NEW. They destroyed my head liner to replace an airbag and never put it back in place. Because it sat so long through the winter weather, that created more issues that they also didn’t fix. I’m left with having to pay money very frequently to get major things fixed on a brand new car. It’s like it’s falling apart as a result of their lack of care. An ATTORNEY will be involved.

They did a very great on my 2019 Malibu and they called every time it’s was a update and they were very friendly if any one has a choice choose them

Place is very rude and inconsiderate. They need more staff. I went from Bryer to Mark to Steve seems like there only employees for about 10 months. Their repair work has taking 10 months and I refuse to recommend them.

They were very professional and they had to redo some work that another place didn’t fix right. I love the job that did and when ever a problem needed to be fixed I took it back they were right on top of it. Bring your car here if you need excellent service. My mom, Ella took her car here after she had an accident. Fineline repaired her car within 3 days of dropping it off. The body work was perfect, we couldnt tell any damage had been done to the front end. We will definitely use them for all of our body work repairs in the future. Great job guys!!

I’ve took my car to Fineline collision and they were very professional they handled all the paperwork with my insurance company and make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. The office manager literally had to stay on top of the insurance company. She was very professional and was very knowledgeable about the company any questions I had and she quickly answered. They did a lot of bodywork on my vehicle. Vehicle turned out to be beautiful I was very happy with the work they did on my 2017 sonata! I would definitely use them again for anybody work I have on my future vehicles.

It’s the worse place in the area you can go to. They had my car for almost two months to fix the light, but when I received it from them. It’s not working totally plus having the engine and tire lights on. And they told bcz I’m using a bad gas from Shell. Not professional at all.

Had a smooth and easy repair on my vehicle. Fineline took care of everything and made sure all of my concerns were handled. The office girl was very knowledgeable with what was going on and what I needed to do to expedite things with the insurance company.

The work I had done was minor but they handled it quickly and you cant even tell my car was hit. They also cleaned the inside so good that you would think that I just bought it today and not 3 years ago.

7/27/2021 Edit: My car was inspected by a reputable shop and showed me under the hood that some of the internal fixes were low quality (some metal piece was wielded into place versus being replaced, the main frame (not sure the proper name for it) cracked, rusted and crooked/unaligned. So Fineline had my car looking nice and running but for the sake of honesty I wanted to update my review to let people know: this shop does affordable, good body work, but if you think/know you need major internal work done, and care about your car, Id recommend searching elsewhere.Original Review:Was VERY nervous about leaving my car here; based off other reviews, I thought I would never get my car back. However, my experience with Fine Line was pleasant. They did well in keeping me informed about the status of my car when I called (though my call did go to voicemail a few times, they always called back) and they answered all my questions/concerns. It took a couple weeks for the car to get started on, but that had to do with my insurance’s side of the work (e.g. appraiser schedule, waiting for the checks). Based off the amount of work I needed done (my car was deemed “totaled” by the body shop it was initially towed to from the accident), I think they got my car done in a reasonable time frame (a littler over a month). But most importantly, I am happy with the results! My car looks like new, and based off that alone, because results is what is important to me, I would recommend anyone here for an inexpensive car fix.

Accident happened Early Dec 2018. After reading reviews I was concerned that I would be without my car for months. It was ready within 6 weeks & my car looks brand new! The staff was polite and friendly....Most of these reviews are complete opposite from my experience.Update: summer 2019 hit and they skipped putting antifreeze for the A/C.In response to the owner: Nov-2019 So you knowingly didn’t fix my car all the way?? SMH!!! It took $100 worth of Freon when I did it and it held just fine. Because of this, your rating went from 5 stars to 1. Do your job and fix cars completely! It’s not like most of us have a choice to take it to a legit repair shop in the first place!!

Great working w/ Steve I had many doubts, but everything came out great, paint and everything else looks good. I had a rear end collision and needed my back tailgate and bumper repaired. It took almost 2 weeks. Im happy and so is my wife with the work done. I wouldnt mind using them again in the future. The other person at fault had American Alliance Insurance and this was a recommended shop. I guess the faster you take it in the faster its repaired.

I recently had a fender bender!! First shop I stopped at was fine line and it was my last stop they took care of me like I was family and got my car done in a reasonable time frame and it looks brand new I recommend them and give 5 stars!!!

Never use this place ever. You are better off buying a new car. They will lie to you and leave your car sitting for months. They will ignore your phone calls and you will have to call from different numbers. Im not sure how these other comments even got on here terrible service.

The worst service took more then 4 weeks to do, bumper, lights, and grill, this place needs help. I can only imagine if it was bigger damage. Dont take your car here you will regret it.

Stay away !!! My insurance sent me here. Literally had my car since january .. The lady behind the desk is coached to say the repairs will take 2 or 3 weeks no matter how long the repair will actually take. In April I decided to visit after calling numerous times with either no answer or the receptionist reassuring me that it a only be a few more weeks before my car would be finished. When i made it there i witnessed my car in front of this place with all the same damages. This place still has my car it is now may 30. I called today no answer . This place is really tearing my life apart. I still pay a car note every month . If your insurance recommend this place please dispute. They will tell u lie after lie just to keep u at ease.

I dont know how many stars to rate it they had my car in the shop since april its almost october and i still havent got a good response about it except the parts are on order and its over a month they been on order they cant work on it till all the parts are in i pay a car note on it and im not even driving it i walk 2 hours just to get to my new job on time because i have no transportation till my car gets fixed

Awesome Job.. Had some minor problems with my car after getting it fixed, but they were able to get it fixed. Very friendly customer service, they also kept me updated throughout the whole process.

They kept my daughters car for 4 months, it literally cost so much money because she had to uber everywhere she went, they have had no straight answer, till this day still has no car! They stuck and so do the services. We already have a lawyer involved, they will be hearing from him soon.

Performed a substandard estimate for a substandard insurance company they work for. Stay away!! Owner is never there, probably because he lets his girls in the front take all the complaints he should be taking. 2 other body shops saw related damage and this one want me to wait weeks for safety repairs to be approved in a supplement, never go here for an estimate, these repairs should take days, not weeks!!!

The most bad place ever where is the Business bureau on those people the only work with insurance companies to ripping the people off if you r car needs fix in 2k $ they will give your car estimate fix 200$ and they will take your care few months and the will not working on it until you take it away and fix it somewhere else they have a agreement with all bad insurance specially with American alliance the most bad insurance in Chicago
