Hidden gem, I drove right by the first time! Fabulous old time diner. Absolutely awesome inside. Real family environment. The staff are wonderful and it’s obvious this is where the locals come for breakfast. We were here on Mother’s Day and it was busy but the tables turned over quickly and the small staff were very diligent in busing the tables.Food was amazing! Meat lovers omelette, French Toast and country fried steak and eggs. I hope we come this way again!

What a fun spot to stop! Cozy Americana interior with unassuming yet well made meals. The bacon with my 2x2x2 meal was smoky and crispy, and the blueberry pancakes were perfectly made - about 9 across and very filling. The cafe is built up around an old luxury car - the car in a train where meals are served. Extensions on either side house the kitchen and a secondary seating area. If youre looking for a unique dining experience in Cheyenne, this is your spot!

Awesome place to eat breakfast at. The whole family loved it, and it was a great place to check out before leaving town. I loved that it was in a converted train car! The restaurant is way bigger on the inside than youd think it was based on the exterior. The staff was great as well! Id highly recommend the corned beef hash. It thought it tasted great. The family loved the chocolate chip pancakes!

I had heard good things about this place, but what a HUGE, MASSIVE, COLOSSAL disappointing experience. Ill start with the orange juice. It wasnt orange, and barely juice! It was almost brown. Tasted like Sunny Delight peed in it. Then the corned beef hash was just mashed potatoes with something resembling corned beef, but without the corned beef flavor. And it was redundantly served with more hash browns, that looked like half cooked potatoes were rammed through a playdough pumper, with the hair dye. The pancake on the side was less disappointing, but it looked like it was cooked only enough to get it out of the kitchen. It was pale and bland, and the syrup soaked in immediately, and never ran off. But....the eggs I ordered were perfect! Must have been an accident.

Starting with the good-good coffee, much better than most inexpensive places. Prices are reasonable, good pancakes that come out to a nice crispy edge instead of having a fluffy sidewall. Food was good size and arrived hot.Service was completely disorganized, some of the worst I ever had. I waited 25 minutes after being sat before I went to the kitchen to order. The place is the size of a generous size living room and I could see at least one and often as many as three employees at all times. They are really good at avoiding eye contact. The place was only about 3/4 full. My food arrived before my coffee, about 15 minutes later. Chicken fried steak was the typical frozen one you get most places, potatoes and sausage gravy were fine. When my drinks finally arrived I got a large OJ I didnt order. During my long time to watch things happen, more than half the tables in the place got food delivered they didnt order and often the waitress was just calling out what they had and asked who it belonged to. And the tables are clearly numbered. The misdelivered food was just picked up off one table and delivered to another. The best part may be the atmosphere. There was a guy at the counter who appeared to be pretty impaired for 9 AM. They can be pretty entertaining in a bar after 2000, but not at breakfast. He was yelling curses into his phone, cursing out loud to the employees he seemed to know and badgering customers to engage with him. Megaphone mouth the whole time. Staff said nothing except to engage with him. When the waitress went to greet the table near me she dropped an F-bomb as well as sh#t and did not appear to know the customers. They appeared surprised. Cursing could be heard from the kitchen at times too. Again, fine for a bar at night but not at a diner for Sunday breakfast.

I feel terrible to leave this review but by far the slowest service Ive ever experienced. Waited about 35-40 min to get a table, which is understandable, its a very small place. However we waited for almost 2 hours and our food still was not being prepared. Was told there was 2 tables in from of us. And they were so nonchalant about it. I was upset by the fact that a table that came in way after us got their food... and it was some of the things we ordered. We left without eating.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I know this place shows up on lists of train-themed things to check out when in Cheyenne, but I would recommend against it. We went into the diner at about 7:30 on a Friday. Two servers were working, and neither acknowledged us as we stood in the entryway for maybe 5 minutes. We finally figured it must be a seat-yourself kind of place, so we found a table. We waited there for another 10 or so minutes, and finally left. As we were leaving, we walked by the two servers standing at the front looking at their phones. Still no acknowledgement. Also as we were leaving, another customer recommended a different and much better place in town.

You actually deserve 0 stars! The Luxury Diner we knew and loved is no longer. This is not the Luxury and doesn’t deserve that title. We came in and were sat for 20 minutes, no hellos, no drink order, nothing (they were not busy in the slightest.) All we got were stares from employees and patrons at our service dog and our mask wearing. Is that why you treated us badly? Regardless, a couple came in 20 minutes after us and were served immediately so we left. And low and behold all the employees just stared at us. The old Luxury was good and inviting and everything breakfast should be about. This establishment must be under new management because they are no longer good and wholesome. Also, one of the employees rode our bumper the whole way in in his Range Rover, which further proved your rude mannerisms towards customers. IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE AT ALL DO NOT EAT HERE. THEY ARE NOT THE LUXURY! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NEVER RETURN!

So weve visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning. It was quite busy we were seated quickly. Our waitress whose name was Angie, and not very pleasant, Did not acknowledge us for about 10 minutes. She then came back and asked for a drink order and said she would be back in a few to take our order. When she came back it had probably been 20 mins total. She told us that they like to keep the table turn quick. I took that as eat fast and get out. The meal that we ordered was supposed to come with the side but it was not offered. I am not sure if she was new or just did not know the menu very well. When we received our order my hash Browns and eggs were hot fresh off the griddle but my biscuits and gravy were lukewarm. We asked about our side and she said that we did not order one so we asked for a side of toast she said sure I guess. Halfway through our meal we still have not received our toast. My husband said excuses me maam? Can i get my toast? She looked at us and said you dont have to scream i can hear you. That ruined our visit right there. The food was great portions and great price. We will try again at a less busy time and a different waitress.

1st time in this place given the reviews we thought it would be a nice place to eat. Sometimes you cannot always go by reviews… we ended waiting nearly 50min for our food …unfortunately didn’t catch the gals name at the front counter when we came in but she was our server and she wasn’t rude but no PR skills my sister-in-law had to ask for silverware and we had to ask for straws she never came by to check on us and tell us our food was on its way??? Terrible service will not be back and then her excuse was “it’s a tiny kitchen” people don’t want excuses but results don’t care about the size of the kitchen come by and acknowledge paying customers who ended up paying the entire bill with no discount, no apology and imagine that no MOD ( manager on duty)! Wow 😮 world is definitely coming to an end!! But the young gal wearing the dark blue shirt got the tip and she is actually the one who apologized..and she should’ve been the one trying to finagle the lock on the bathroom door when the ghost manager should have been the one to fixed the locked door!! Whoa 🤯!!! No Luxury this DAY!!

If you come here during Cheyenne Frontier Days, just make sure you bring a little extra patience with you. Any town where the population nearly doubles due to an event is going to have some trouble keeping up with the demand. My wife and I had to wait about an hour for our food. The restaurant was packed and there was a line out the door and into the parking lot. The two cooks working in the kitchen were slinging out plates as fast as they could. Our food was worth every minute of our wait. I ordered the meat lovers omelette. My wife ordered the huevos rancheros (the clear winner between the two). We both got the luxury potatoes as our side but it couldve been a meal by itself. Most importantly, the staff deserves some very special recognition. With as busy and overworked as they were, the entire staff was as sweet as could be. If it werent for our trip being so short we wouldve gone back to dine in. Instead, we stopped by on our way out of town and grabbed a cinnamon roll to go. If we make it back out to CFD in the future, we will definitely eat here again.

The owner is from NJ, the land of Greek dinners, and some of that classic east coast dinner feel is present but with a touch of southern (gravy on your breakfast anyone?) and western (or top it with green chilly sauce.
