So very appreciative of Mike taking care of our orange Crosstrek that needed repainted (from factory paint chipping). We had a few trips and issues (paint and body shop) that needed addressed, but Mike really took care of us - above and beyond!New tires, new front window tint, new windshield, new paint job....and weve had a couple of oil changes done here also. Will always look forward to handing my keys over to Halladay Subaru for maintenance.(Will add photos after a good carwash 🙂)

My car was making a strange noise so I brought it in. I don’t live in Cheyenne, so I was hoping they would call me while I was still there to give me an update as to what the noise would be, but I got no call so I had to drive back to Laramie.I waited a couple more days and still didn’t receive a call so I called them where they informed me they had called me twice, however it turns out they had written my number down wrong. Anyways, they couldn’t hear the noise I was describing, so I had to drive back to Cheyenne to show them the noise.I ended up leaving my car there again, and about 2 weeks go by with no call. I try calling them 3 times over a couple days but there is no answer, and no one returned my call even though I left a voicemail. They finally call me back and I go to pick up my car.I am informed that the noise is “normal”. Not sure why it took them 2 weeks to figure that out. Not only is it normal, I got to pay $140 for them to tell me that. To top it all off, I get in my car to find dirty paper towels all over the place.Overall a very disappointing experience and I definitely will not be going back. I highly recommend you DO NOT bring your car here for service.

Long time Subaru enthusiast, owned a 2011 WRX for years before I purchased a 2018 Subaru STI from the Subaru in Casper. About 3-4 months ago I cracked my bumper and had it replaced with a brand new bumper/paint.Move to Cheyenne a week ago, first time bringing my car in for a simple oil change. I’m asked if I’d like a complimentary car wash, which I regrettably accepted.I receive my car and notice there’s a large chip in the paint of my bumper. Keep in mind the vehicle has 15K miles and the bumper probably less than 3K.I call the dealership and am transferred to the “manager” Mike. He doesn’t answer, so I leave a voicemail politely explaining the situation and requesting a call back.I wait two hours and still, no response. At this point, I drive back to the dealership to wait an additional 15 minutes so they can track him down because no one seems to know where he is.Immediately he begins to defend the fact that it’s not possible his car washers, using bristle brushes, could’ve knicked or caused any damage. THEN, he pulls out a report that allegedly was filled out when my car was worked on, which was not at all the report that was given to me when I first left.Their inspection for my car came back perfect, absolutely nothing wrong. Then, when I’m asking about the chip in the paint, he finds a “paper that was on his desk” describing previous marks on a brand new bumper and further attempts to tell me I need to go BACK to the Subaru in CASPER to “look into clear coat warranty”I’m absolutely appalled that a manager would choose to lose a customer who has spent thousands of dollars across several dealerships, driving a brand new Subaru STI with warranty (basically their ‘prime’ customer type) over a paint chip.I couldn’t say nicer things about the girls at the reception desk! Unfortunately they aren’t the ones who can make things right though. Hopefully this review deters even one Subaru enthusiast from losing their love for the brand due to a poor manager. As you can see from the photos, that’s not at all “road debris” especially 30 minutes after receiving from them. Absolutely falls on the management that fails to take accountability. Instead I will take these photos to Small Claims Court, or wherever necessary to make this right. To try to blame this on another Subaru dealership is pathetic.

I have always loved going to Subaru in Cheyenne until recently. In March 2020 I took my car to get a routine oil change and recalls replaced. No one told me that to do the recalls they would have to go under the passenger seat. When I got my car back the inside was all torn up. The floor mats and plastic coverings for the bottom of the chair were all over my car. I contacted the Chris Allen and he apologized and gave me a free oil change for the next time and profusely apologized and promised me people would be spoken to and it would never happen again.I took my car in yesterday August 17,2020 for a routine oil change. I was told upon arriving that they needed to check my rear coils and they might need to be changed. Again, I wasnt told that it would be going in through the inside trunk of my car. When I got my car back, the same thing happened. Things were thrown all over my back seat.Nothing was put back and on top of that, there was a grease streak left on my sun visor. When I called the service manager Mike Teets, he argued with me that the technician left the car as closely as he could to how he found it. I explained to him that everything that was thrown to the front of my car was in trunk of my car when I dropped it off. He told me to come by and he could get the grease streak off and take a look at the condition of the car, since he was the one who approved it after service. He got (most) of the grease off my sun visor and when I showed him the back of my car. He argued with me and told me that my car was like that when it arrived. I drive my car everyday- I also take my dog to work with me every morning and he rides on the back seat. No my car did not have items strewn all over the back seat when it arrived.I received no apology, but was argued with over the state of my car. I am extremely frustrated with treatment I received and will be finding a new provider for service.

I bought a car they told me had not been in an accident. Turns, out, it had been in an accident. They claimed it was a mistake. Fair enough. The car immediately had problems. And kept having problems. Small issues at first they were able to remedy, but then a larger issue that was symptomatic of bigger things to come (steering wheel suddenly losing alignment with wheels for no reason). The sales manager KNEW they had made the mistake in accidentally misrepresenting the vehicle to me (they admitted this to me), and he KNEW the car was having ongoing issues. Rather than do the obvious right thing and take the car back so I could purchase another from them, he straight up told me we dont want the car, and offered me a deal that would have cost me a LOSS of $6,000 dollars (low ball offer for my misrepresented-by-them car, plus loss of taxes paid, dealer fees paid, and loss of value from my traded in vehicle).I had to contact Subaru of America and file a complaint, and then go over the sales managers head and contact the VP of Halladay motors directly to let him know about the situation, let him know Id filed the complaint, and that I would seek legal action if a satisfactory resolution was not reached. ONLY THEN did they do the right thing by taking back the vehicle. To the VPs credit he did not hesitate in setting things right. They refunded the original purchase, they gave me a fair deal on a known good car of similar make, model and miles, and they also gave Certified Pre-owned Status to the replacement car for the peace of mind I was originally looking for, and I thank the VP for this gesture, I really do.HOWEVER, because of the intentional efforts of their sales manager to profit at my expense by leveraging Halladay Motors gross mistake in misrepresenting the car, I cannot with good conscience recommend this dealership to those unable to fight tooth and nail to not be taken advantage of by their sales managers predatory practices. I know too many people who are either timid, passive, insecure in themselves, or who lack the financial means to pursue legal action (I include the version of me 10 years ago in this category as well) that would have simply lost out on their hard earned money were they faced with this same situation, and I care about them as much as I do myself.Sad the sales manager chose to try and profit at my expense rather than do the obvious right thing, but he did, and I would not feel good about keeping this to myself, since I care about those coming after me that might not be able to push as hard as I needed to to see an equitable resolution reached over a large mistake that was theirs, not mine.

As much as I love suburu I am disappointed in the Cheyenne dealership. I bought my forester last summer around the beginning of August. Upon checking out and completing the paperwork they showed me a big scratch on the drivers door. They promised to fix it and I was told just bring it in sometime, I would get a loaner and they would make it easy for me. So within a few weeks I was returning to Cheyenne, which is an 80 mile drive, I called and they said, oh no, you have to come on a Wednesday. So I was expected to take a day off work to bring my car in for something they let me drive away with and promised to fix. Well, I finally have a Wednesday off. I called a couple of days ago to set up having my car fixed and they said come on down. I arrive and was informed that they dont know when the guy who fixes scratches will be in! Also a piece fell off the hood by the windshield, they ordered it, but cannot find it! I kind of feel like after they got the money that I didnt matter as a customer. I am so disappointed. I am single, a cancer survivor, and had to work very hard for this car.Addition to my review: more than one person reached out to me after writing my review yesterday. I received an apology and a two year service contract! I feel like they definately want to make things right. So far I am very satisfied with this, after all its the treatment of customers that is important. I definately feel much better!

I emailed Halladay Subaru when I was shopping for a new 2013 Forester. The guy who took me on the test drive knew less about the car than I did. I exchanged several emails and phone calls with them about purchasing from them. I received a very good offer from GO Subaru in Denver, but told both the internet sales rep and the salesman who took me on the test drive that I would rather purchase locally. Both assured me that they had Price Match Guarantee that they would at least match the price I brought in if not beat it.I forwarded my quote from GO Subaru and they told me to come in and they would match it. When I got there they made me sit around for 3 hours before telling me they couldnt match the price. They didnt even get within $2,000. On top of that the manager offered me next to nothing for my trade-in and told me that I should probably just try to sell it on my own. I asked them what happened to the Price Match Guarantee and the manager told me they just couldnt match that offer and he had no idea how GO Subaru could offer the same vehicle so cheap.Overall a terrible experience and waste of time. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. I have taken my car in for services however and their service staff has been excellent.

I immediately called to see if I could drop my vehicle off and POSSIBLY get a loaner vehicle. The lady I spoke with on services (about 5pm, 2/25/19) was just completely unprofessional, specifically saying, Well, I GUESS you can drop your car off here and if the mechanics want to look at it, they will. She even told me they dont offer loaners to people anymore, and then said we just dont have any available right now immediately after that with a snobby attitude. I dont have a problem with the dealership at all, just maybe you guys can teach your employees to show a little more respect to customers over the phone.

I asked if it could be done locally to me and be reimbursed by Halladay, and they said the service manager would get in touch. He never did. So I still cant change the clock, the service reminders, use the GPS, or anything using the display. Very frustrated at the lack of follow-up. At least I got a nifty tool out of it! Everyone there was helpful and got us rolling by Thursday afternoon. This was about as quick as I could realistically expect the work to be done. In 2014, my son drove his 2005 Outback to Wyoming (UW in Laramie) from Connecticut after just having the engine rebuilt. When we came out in November for a parents weekend, we brought it to Halladay to check it out. They found a few things and coordinated with the Connecticut dealer to get fixes made under the warranty. And they kept me posted all along, educated my son when he picked up the car, and coordinated everything 2000 miles and 2 time zones away. I felt so much better when they would check it out after arrival and before departure for the cross-country trip each year. Last summer, my son stayed in Laramie and he, 3 friends and a dog piled into it for a camping trip to California and had the time of their lives (Subaru cliche, I know!). He graduated this Spring and is now back in Connecticut. While I love our local Subaru dealer, Im kind of bummed that the car will no longer receive Halladays care. They truly gave this mom one less thing to worry about while her son was almost 2000 miles away in college!

I went to Nissan looking for my car, and they said they had finished it, but I couldnt pick it up from them, I had to pick it up from Subaru. So hours have already passed, and im in danger of missing some classes I need to attend 40 minutes away in laramie. They finally get the car back from Nissan, and I see it roll up to Halladay Subaru after throwing a fit for like 30 minutes. THEN THEY MAKE ME WAIT AN HOUR SO THEY CAN WASH THE CAR.I was like I dont care if its not washed, I need to get to class. But I guess once they start washing a car, they cant stop. I missed both my classes that day.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Ive been a Subie owner for 5 years and have dealt with 4+ service depts. This one BY FAR is the best Ive encountered. In the midst of driving across country from Oregon to Florida with 2 dogs & 2 cats in the car, we found ourselves with two headlights out in the middle of a snow storm in Wyoming. Miracle of miracles, we get off I-80 and there in the distance is the Subaru sign (ahhhhh!!!) I swung in thinking they would push me off to the next day but they immediately pulled in our Subie, with the pets secure inside, and we had new headlights in under 40 minutes which is amazing bc our model of Subaru requires the tires to come off to change the headlights (nuts). I really cant express how grateful we are to Halladay Subaru for taking care of us so swiftly and treating us like VIP customers. So rare in this day to find cheerful service oriented people. If I lived in WYO we would def buy our next Subie from Halladay. You guys are heroes!!!
