This Food Lion is by far the most atrocious Food Lion I have ever been in the amount of flies and lack of Public Safety is atrocious even though they are under construction the overall look and flies all over the fresh food in the the deli section was disgusting there were dead flies everywhere if youre going to buy something from this Food Lion make sure it is zip tight and locked before purchasing any food

Kind of sad little store, but it was convenient and had what I needed.

I like food lion for the fact that they dont make you check yourself out and if there is any kind of line they pull more people up front to check out faster... but TWO TIMES on 2 different trips I saw the employees drag the random carts in and park them forward under the sanitized sign. (Without sanitizing them at all)I am not covid sensitive, but I do believe they are giving a false sense of security. Other stores leave sanitizer out and paper towels so you can do your own, or they have nothing and you just take your own chances lol..., but dont tell me they have been sanitized and then not do it. Just take your sign down please!

I like this location, everyone is always friendly and the store seems clean. Especially with the covid 19. I always see them cleaning the carts and surfaces. I go to food lion for the good prices on meat and produce and they always have a good selection and specials.

Cashiers were without a doubt the rudest bunch of individuals I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! I am disabled and the cashier after ringing up my order REFUSED to assist me in getting them back into my scooter cart. If it hadn’t been for another customer, I would still be there. Good customer service only takes a minute, not a good experience after spending part of my disability check money! I’ll try the one on Jefferson Davis Hgwy next time!

Food lion has stepped their game up on presentation and variety. This location is one of my favorite but they do have very busy periods. Dont forget to sign up and load your monthly shop and earn savings. (Wish they automatically loaded)

The one I went to off 288exit centrellia rd.the belts at the registers were very nasty dirty.i would put my items on the belt thats how bad it was and also the scanner glass..I will 🚫 ever go there again during covid of all times to be dirty nasty belts and scanner.

Its not that I love it..but they are clean, & if I need help or anything..theres never a problem getting it. They are close, they answer their phone..if I dont like a new product they take it back without question. Theres rarely a time that you have to wait in line..or if U do have to wait ..its usually not long. Just good customer service

The people are great! This place is for people like me and those who still place value of a small neighborhood grocery store with all the technology of the bigger ones. If your looking for clothing, wine tastings, or aisles upon aisles of organic food youve come to the wrong place (they do carry organic products). But if you want a stress free grocery shopping experience, come here. Youll not regret it.

The produce manager at this store steal food to take home for his family his name is William Simmons And yeah I know u dont believe it well watch your cameras and he does it when big boss not there usually has son come pick up food in boxes he filled acting like there empty

One of my favorite places to check for managers specials, they usually arent very busy with fast check out lines,area pricing which means that I usually make quick trips here because its the closest grocery store to my house.I just downgraded my favorite food lion because I was just charged $1.98 for a 2lt Mt Dew, which was different from the shelf price & a dollar higher than my favorite Kroger...next time I will be sure to pick up when I visit Kroger and if you shop this Food Lion,make sure you check your prices on your receipt before leaving the store !

Sadly, I will not be seeing this Food Lion again any time soon. Its down the street from where my mom lived and now she has passed away. I used to work there as a kid, and the store still looks the same as it did then. Helpful service reps there too.

Good place to get groceries

The produce section is horrible. Rotted oranges and other items abound. Purchased a bag of oranges the other day that looked good, because the individual oranges were all rotten. By that evening the purchased oranges were growing mold!Plants and flowers are never watered and are dying or already dead. I wanted to purchase a half dead hanging ivy plant to try and save it and they still expected to charge me full price.

Its aiight. Staff change for the most part kinda changed the atmosphere though. Clean store.

Not a bad store by itself, but ever since they started the remodel of the stores, things have gotten bad. Prices are going up, and the employees are treated as servants. Not to mention the fact that this store follows none of the standard practice rules: management doesnt respond to calls for help nor anything other than their own drug problems. Two of the managers at this particular location are dating each other and have started to fire people unfairly. While the store was a good location at one point in time, until management gets changed, I will NEVER be shopping here again.

Good in and out store for the basics. Smaller then some of the others around. Meat section is good. Actually bigger then the larger on on iron bridge. Produce section is very small with limited selection.

The cashiers was real pleasant and the front end manager was pleasant also

Have been to over 50 food lions over the years,this is the friendliest,most efficiently run store I have ever visited.And I have the good luck of this being minutes from my house.I have shopped here long enough to watch new hires advance through the ranks and become managers.What a super store!

I love the new Food Lion right down my road from me,they have remodelt it and it is so nice now and they have new items on the shelf. I was there on Tuesday and bought the biggest Succulent in a cute crate for 7.00 bucks,and the other items that I got where all quality items.

Better selections than most Food Lions. Yuca, Chayote, Plantains, the produce looked good. I hope they add more organic foods. The organic they had was sold out. The staff was very pleasant.

It was better before they remodeled (because everything has moved and is now hard to find) but the staff is all very kind and respectful. It’s nice to see the teenagers that work there be as dedicated as they are to working and going to school. They are very polite and seem to like their jobs. It always bothers me when I go into a store and see employees that are obviously miserable and hate their jobs. You can tell by their attitudes and behaviors. So it is a pleasure to walk into this store several times a week and always see smiles and enthusiasm. 😊

Every time I come in no one speak I went in today and was short 12 cents the young man seem like he didn’t want to be there I run out to the car to get the 12 cent and got my food and left before that I asked the same Young man for something and he said he didn’t know Custmer service need to improve
