I have been going to H & H Grocery sense I was a little girl. Very nice family business. If you are in the area stop and see for yourself
Nice and cool inside very nice people
I have fond memories of this place. My job took me by here on a weekly basis back 25 yrs or so ago. It was old school neighborhood store with exceptionally friendly staff. Super cold drinks and the kind of snacks you cant find easily at other, larger, (and whiter), stores. Even though I am European-American I was treated like family at this African-American business in a African-American neighborhood. It was the nerve center of the community and there was always people hanging out in and around H&H that were willing to say hello, share a smile, a quick story, or a joke. It was one of the highlights of my weekly travels and made me long for more places like it. We have lost something as Americans not having more community stores like H&H instead of cookie cutter convenience stores.
Good neighborhood store. Last min. stop before home. Close to work place, have small things I need. No the owner. Good frozen.
Love this homy little store
