I took my 15 Optima in for an oil change and inspection. Their tech found a small leak in my coolant system while inspecting it. Replaced a hose that couldve ended up costing me thousands for an engine. The service advisor, Nicky, I believe, was quite helpful and knowledgeable on what I should have replaced soon and what I didnt need to worry about considering I have a 7 year old car.
Have a 2020 Kia Optima. Took it for oil change and when the husband got back in it to leave the oil light was on. The service department didn’t put enough oil in the car. Then not even a month later the fan module goes out. Car has to be towed…. No loaner car given to me while my car is being worked on. Go back to get my car after it’s been at their service department for 3 days. Now the AC doesn’t work and it worked fine before going there and their reply is oh sorry bring it back next week so we can look at it! I mean cause I don’t have a job or anything ….. I can just bring it right over anytime! Horrible service! I will never buy another Kia again! Lesson learned!

Service department is below average in work and staffing. Had as issue with an oil change called them to make it right and was lectured and then told they wouldnt be wiling to compensate me for THEIR mistake. In conclusion, sure buy your brand new car from them and then dont ever go back. Service department and customer service is lacking and youd be better off at the quick lube places offered around town then the professionals at Kia of Chattanooga.

I had a recall on my engine that quit on me with less than 100,000 miles on it. Kia’s of Chattanooga told me that I could get a rental car and they would reimburse me. I have been trying to get my reimbursement for over 90 days, and now they say I am not getting my money back. I won’t ever trust a Kia product nor will I trust anything that they ever try and tell me.
Update 10/22/21 - Carnival windshield was cracked from road debris, we called Kia and explained the situation and they quoted us $800 for the replacement. When the windshield arrived we asked how long does the repair take they responded that they do not do the repair and made some recommendations. This is something we were not told originally. We then took the car the autobody shop for the windshield replacement and was quoted $125. Today they told us the repair would be close to $400 as Kia charged them $200 for calibration. Again when we called Kia they could have told us that they have to calibrate the windshield and at minimum it would be $200 for that service. We are beyond upset that after purchasing a $43k car and making multiple calls that they did not disclose all the extra fees that we would be charged in the beginning. Scored changed to a 1.Went here looking for the all new Kia Carnival about 3 weeks ago. We had been working with Brandon who originally didnt know much about the car as there was not a date for a U.S. launch. When they did receive the car he called us and let us know. When we arrived he clearly had done all the research and knew the car inside and out. We eventually purchased the car and are very pleased with the vehicle. Thank you Kia and Brandon for such a wonderful car buying experience.

Purchased a replacement key fob for my Kia Soul nearly three weeks ago. Keep calling for service to program the remote and cut the key but service staff keeps telling me the key cutter is down and I have to take my remote to a locksmith and pay THEM an extra expense for my key. Everyone I have spoken with has refused to adjust the bill AT ALL for the inconvenience and extra expense of having to pay a locksmith for what should be included with my part purchase and programming fee I already paid the dealer. Today I tried again and the service staff REFUSED to even check to see if the key machine is operating again.I expect someone to contact me about this ASAP.

Wife took car in for service. Waited 2 hrs they didnt do anything. I had to take it back the same afternoon. They tried to say we didnt have an appointment for oil change or service then they tried to say my wife didnt tell them to do a oil change. So what did they do for 2 hrs while our car was in the service bay? Then they tried to charge us for changing a map light which is under a extended service plan. This is the 2nd time this has happened.
Salesman Juan was very helpful to my friend. He knew what was on lot, prices, any question asked he could answer. Even got right back to friend with figures on several vehicles not just any ole sale. Very satisfied
When you have your new car at the service department because the a/c is not working and apparently Signal Moubtain is too far to get you a ride home and they have no cars for you to drive. But surely I can wait another hour or so to see what is wrong with the air. And I’ve only had the car since February. The parts and sales departments have been great to work with. The Service Manager has not.

We went to this location and the sales person was very helpful. The people in finance office ran my credit 9 times in one day ( the day after we did not buy a car) If you don’t want your credit hit with multiple inquiries I’d avoid this place.
The salesman asked what kind of car I was looking for, then proceeded to tell me why I was wrong and saying my reasons were “horsesh@t” among other lovely gems. My family and I went to Marshal Mize Ford on highway 153, and got exactly the car we wanted, at a price we were comfortable with.

My car had to have an engine replaced and when i got it back it was put in as if the people who did it had no idea what they were doing or cared. It was missing nuts and bolts, the battery was no longer strapped down, the wires are just hanging everywhere, nothing was pinned back up, bolts werent tightened down, some wires were stripped, the dust guard that goes under my car wasnt even there after the replacement, the air filter manifold is just hanging out and not bolted back in place and was missing the bolts. I will never suggest this garbage can of a place and the manager of the place is a trash can too. When I called to place a complaint he made it seem like oh no not my shop we would never do that, you must have taken it somewhere else afterwards even though its only been since july since Ive gotten it back. -100/10. if I could 0 star i would.

I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I scheduled an appointment to have my transmission serviced on Tuesday. I dropped it off on Monday evening. Before I even got home from dropping it off, I received an email asking for feedback that I normally do not get until after I pick it up. When the car was picked up, the receipt stated they did an inspection however there was not one mark on the inspection paper from a technician or anyone other than what the service adviser wrote at the time I dropped it off. I was charged for service that I am not even sure happened since no technician signed off. When I got my car back, the driver mirror that was working completely fine when I dropped it off was broken and no longer works. I called them to tell them. Their response was that they were going to pull up video to see if anything happened. Of course, big surprise they said nothing happened to it there according to the video. Now that want to charge me almost $1000 to fix a mirror that most likely got broken in their possession. I have never had one single positive experience with this dealership. Please do not go there for a car or service.

In my experience, their service department is not able to handle the volume of customers they have. I’ve had several experiences where their website appointment system was down and appointments slots were full up to a month. You have to show up in person and hope to get squeezed in. What makes it worse, if you buy a new car and have to go to them for warranty work then you’re screwed, good luck. I’ve already had issues with a new vehicle. I was told the vibrations were due to hard spots in the tires and would be replaced if it didn’t resolve after 5k miles. Still have the same problem and they wouldn’t replace the tires saying my car is fine and the last diagnosis was wrong. I regret buying a KIA.

My wife Elizabeth and I came in about a month ago and were looking at a new Kia. After seeing one we liked we sat down with our rep, who I wont mention his name, but when he sees this review hell know its about him. This is just as much if not more to relay our distaste with the manager as well as the rep. We were the two young new small business owners who came in with a newborn and looked at the New Red SUV. We informed the rep our credit wasnt that great, but we had a high income showing in our business name. We were going to put the vehicle in my wifes name and were discussing what we should put down for our income. Our rep originally suggested putting down what wed paid my wife from our business account. Then after we all realized that we hadnt paid her enough consecutive months of income to qualify we asked if we could just use our bank deposits from our business accounts for proof of income. He seemed unsure, but realizing this was the only way to move it to the next step he was like yeah, put that amount on there(It was a fairly high income we were showing). We let him know we really didnt want to run our credit unless we thought wed get approved. He said we run it 3 or 4 times to different banks. 1 major problem was they RAN OUR CREDIT 6 TIMES!!!!! 10-15 points a hit is a big ding a 6 hits... The main thing that upset us is he pretty much immediately came back and ask us to prove the income that we could show wed paid my wife(this is a rookie mistake on our part as well, but he should be the pro here). As wed already discussed we hadnt paid her enough consecutive months to qualify. So he knowingly pushed us through to credit approval process knowing we would be declined because of no proof of income. If nothing else his manager should have asked him to double check before he ran us seeing how high the income was we where showing(It was unusually high for such a young girl with a baby.) If nothing else his manager should have trained his rep to ask if his clients would be able to prove their income(at least under such unusual circumstances). Theres no doubt in my mind this was an intentional overlook. Maybe sales had been a little slow and he and the manager at least wanted to show theyd at least pulled a credit that day. Ive always done sales. I know how it is for a rep to be struggling and at least show a manager they almost got a sale. Bro Im sure this will get back to you. I know you knew better when you done this. Im not gonna put your name on blast, but the next person very well may. Then youll have ruined your name online, which is a horrible thing to do. The only thing we have at the end of the day is the reputation of our name. Dont ruin it over something as silly as this. Ive also made questionable calls in my younger years doing sales. Do not keep up these shady or if nothing else careless sales practices. This will not benefit you in the long run and you will not truly succeed in business until you start doing it as honestly as possible.edit response to Dirk: It appears by your reply you didnt even read my review. I was not upset because we were declined as you state. I never mentioned anything about being upset about being declined in my review. We are upset because you ran our credit more times than you said you were going to + with the information we gave you, you should have not ran our credit in the first place knowing we werent going to be able to prove our income. Her name is Elizabeth Morris and she was indeed there. I was there with her an have the evidence of you pulling our credit 6 times.Edit again after talking to Dirk on the phone: Dirk claims this was an honest mistake over and over while basically ignoring what Im saying and shifting any blame anywhere, but on his company. Theres nothing honest about telling someone directly you are doing to run their credit 3 or 4 times, then running it 6 times. The other things Im claiming are true, but you could write off as an honest mistake. This however is blatantly dishonest.
Bought a car from here about two months ago got a nail in my tire a couple weeks after getting it called and was told to bring it it following day to have plug put in show up following day and was told I would have to leave it with them the whole day and they would try to get to it. Go in today for my scheduled oil change at 2 pm took two hours to complete they do not care if you have things to do don’t recommend at all

Do Not Go To Kia of Chattanooga. They had my car for a month and did not fix it. When I asked for a refund they then lied and said it was fixed and my issue IMMEDIATELY presented itself when I turned it on after getting it. They then continued to lie and say I came in for maintenance and that they wouldnt give me a refund. This was honestly the worst experience I have had at Kia and I wont be going back. Not only that but all the service technicians were not wearing masks and they kept saying they were short staffed due to Covid, yet they did not follow safety guidelines! Needless to say. Dont go, they just want to take your money! If I could give no stars I would!!Follow up I took my car to another repair shop and it was fixed in a day!

Had to drive to Kia of Cleveland because this Kia of Chattanooga is not hybrid certified, so they cant service Kia hybrids. Imagine that. A Kia that cant service new Kias. Unbelievable.

I bought a 2016 Kia Sorento, We were told by their Salesman that our oil change, free tire rotation, and vacuum as long as we own the car. They lied. They now saying it has expired and now their charging for oil changes. This isnt the first problem we had with Kia. I suggest you get everything in writing before you purchase any car from Kia. Will not ever purchase a car from Kia of Chattanooga, Tn.
If you own a Kia, and need your car serviced I suggest going else where. I made an appointment on Monday April 19, 2021 @1445 because my check engine light came on, and I was also about due a oil change. I was there at 1445 left my car, and I was told it would take a few days to get to as the service department was backed up. Fourteen days later my car was still sitting untouched while I paid for a rental. All the services advisor (Charlie Puckett) could say was well im sorry. First off why let me make an appointment if you know your that backed up, and why does it take 14 days for a diagnostic test? I eventually had to have my car towed another bill to Midas on 153 in Hixson, and it was diagnosed on the first day, and I picked it up the next. Thank goodness there are still some hardworking people left in the world.
Ask for Gavin! In fact, the entire team that I have come in contact with was amazing! Very customer facing staff! I received timely updates during the week that my extra key was ordered! I’m actually excited about taking my Kia back for the first 40,000 mileage tune up! I have a while to go but I’ll be coming to Kia if Chattanooga when the time comes!
