After booking my appointment online I showed up for the appointment and was informed that they could not replace the glass in my vehicle. I was told because my vehicle had a leak they do not replace vehicle glass due to leaks. Of course it had to leak there was a breakdown of butyl tape that was used for sealing the glass causing the leak. I wanted it all replaced.If thats their policy, I understand but it should have been disclosed to me at the time I booked my appointment. Now after traveling across town wasting time and fuel for something that could have been avoided. Prior to booking the appointment I tried to call the shop directly to speak with someone in regards to this glass replacement. The shop number kept directing me to online. I found no way to communicate with anyone in the shop. This simple communication would have avoided this huge waste of time and fuel.
Safelite came to my work to replace my windshield and they did a fantastic job. David was very fast, professional, and courteous. The estimate was right on par with the actual cost. I would definitely use them again. Thank you!
Only took one day to get me in to seal a rock chip in the windshield. Technicians were all very understanding about me having all 3 kids with me (it was just me with 2 elementary age children and a newborn). They offered to come to my vehicle and let me know when they were ready for us so I didnt have to sit in the lobby trying to keep all 3 kids quiet. Once they got my Escalade into the shop, it took less than 30 minutes to have me on the road again!
Every one was very friendly and professional. Dropped my car off almost 2 hrs before my appointment time. My car was ready before my original appointment time witch was great. They did a great job and Im happy with the repair.
I love this SafeLite AutoGlass. They make it super easy. I would, however, choose to pay inside rather than online. The guy at the counter worked hard to get me the best discount possible.
Great experience. Window got chipped on Sunday, noticed it on Monday, fixed and on my way Tuesday. They worked with my insurance company and I was out the door in half an hour. They even cleaned my windows. The tech was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Have an auto glass issue? Take it to Safelite.
I tried for 3 days to get a hold of a real person on their phone and on their website I tried to get just a quote for some class and they want me to set up an appointment and I mean when you call you expect to be able to get to a real person sooner or later especially when theyre open for business and I couldnt get a real person that kept wanting me to set up an appointment set up an appointment I wanted a quote before I even thought about setting up an appointment so unless you got time to waste I dont recommend Safelite and when I did finally get a a quote the same glass at other companies and Im not talking about them coming out to your house Im going to their store cost me would cost me almost $400 for my truck and no I aint having that I can get the same glass way down the street and a better price for $199

I brought my car to safelight because of a crack and they were recommended by my insurance. When I picked up my car there was no difference the crack was still there even though the service rep told me it would look like a b splat. I rescheduled and was told by one of their technicians that the repair had been botched and could not be redone because the resin was already injected. I needed a new window. I spend all day on the phone with Satellite and they told me the only one that could wave my deductible was the store manager. I called Donald and he told me I was out of luck and he would use those as a teaching point for his employees. Rather than admitting that they screwed up he flat out told me that it is what it is. I do not recommend a business that doesnt own up to its mistakes and try to make it right.
Its bad enough you cant speak to anyone in person when scheduling, its worse when the the person on live chat tells you they cant just fix a seal on windshield they can only replace it for 508.00 just to sit and wast a half of my off day for a tech to tell me it is company policy they dont touch anything with a seal replacement even on a new windshield Install. This experience was a joke. Not use them again.
They installed a windshield incorrectly and now they wont fix it. The toll free number hangs up on you and the website chat is never available.I was better off with a busted windshield than this one that leaks. I guess I have to go pay a more reputable shop to fix their mistake since they wont. I hate that I have to give one star because they deserve negative stars.I LOVE that they took the time to respond to my review WITHOUT reading it. Its the same dismissive Go to our website and stay lost in safelite purgatory until you pay someone else to fix our work response that you get when you call. That should tell you everything you need to know about doing business with them.

I expected good service from such a large company and it exceeded those expectations. Their process is very smooth, communication was excellent, COVID protocols were even top notch. Initially the price seemed a little high for a chip repair, but the quality of everything else made it well worth it. Would definitely use their services again.

Poor customer service not able to get an install of a new windshield after scheduling the appointment and waiting a week for appointments time, then technician gets here refuses to replace it due to a so called company policy not to replace any window on a vehicle with a pre-existing leak, the company was aware we had a leak in the seal to begin with even chatted online with their representative. This makes no sense, this leak was not from damage to the vehicle it was merely from age. Had I know this, I would have not waited this time. Will never use safelite again, will use 2A Autoglass in Firt Oglethorpe Georgia for any future issues
Not very happy with satellite. Can not talk to anyone about warranty work. Had a wiper blade to come off while driving in the rain still have a sun visor lose. Just luck the wiper arm did not crack the windshield or scratch it.
Had the wrong glass when I arrived at my appointment after waiting a week. Next day called and said they would be out to my home in two days...a day later, no, sorry, wrong glass. Called a day later, only three of the right glass pieces in the US and no one will give them up??? Do you want us to try ebay? A week and a half later...nothing. Gave up on them and went to eBay...maybe a hundred correct fits...gave up and ordered one as I had a 600 mile trip. Got it in and called them to install it...sorry we dont install outside glass...what???Installed glass and window regulator myself in three hours...not easy, not.hard. Probably a great company when all falls into place...get outside the lines and youre a dead duck!

Had a small chip in my Rav4 windshield, they called my insurance and set the appointment up, they has an opening so we just let them fix it then. Very nice people, had it done within 15 minutes. I highly recommend them.

Scheduled an appointment, let them know my window had a leak. Wouldnt replace it afterwards. Condescending and unprofessional. Called Abra, And they were more than happy / much cheaper than the Safelite professionals who cant fix a leak. They continually said it was company policy until I called corporate and found nothing, and then even corporate couldnt give me an answer.Best advice, go local, go Abra!

By far the worst experience with Safelight. Long story short... I had my windshield replaced and the guy that replaced it broke my cowl cover (plastic piece under the windshield)... the car is a lease car and now I have to pay $100 because they broke it. After talking with mangers they said there’s nothing they can do because I didn’t report it within 30 days. I would’ve called within 30 days however it went unnoticed until I had my lease car inspection. There is no other possible way it broke. I will not be going back. Corporate will be getting a call.

Very happy with this place. Had a rock or something bounce off the road and chip my window. Called my insurance company and they set more up with Safelite. They agreed to come by my work to fix. They called the night before to verify and I received an email that day saying the tech was on his way. Did a great job. Hopefully I will never need again but if I do they have earned my business.

My front windshield has scratches on it and would like it replaced. The website only offered replacement quote for chips. Tried to call and speak with someone to get a quote during business hours and got no answer, tried calling several times.
Received quote for a repair of a rock chip to my windshield of $150. Local business quoted me half the price.
I scheduled an appointment with my insurance for a repair. Safelite was able to get me in the next day. They took my car in for the repair as scheduled. I was ready to go about 30 minutes later. The waiting areas were set up for COVID distances. Im very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

Upon calling the store you are instead redirected to their call center which is automated. During this time the system will not transfer you to an agent which is understandable. My issue with this is I had a simple question that could have easily been answered at the store level. Because the store is also 45 min away for me I would much rather call and have my question answered than driving 45 min away and deciding I wont use their service.
I had a great experience. Upon arrival I had a crack from passenger side all the way to the middle of my windshield before it curved into another direction. The job didnt take long. I observed how each technician who worked on a car inform each customer about the process of their vehicle. I considered that personable and great customer service. Highly recommended!
I had a windshield replaced here on my Nissan pickup and the service was excellent. They cleaned all my windows and the technician was very friendly. My back glass broke on my car a couple weeks ago and the next available day for them to come fix it was 9 days later. I called another place and they made me an appointment that same day. My car only has 1800 miles and I didnt want such a new car being exposed to the elements. I dont know why safelite couldnt come out sooner. Also the other place charged me $100 less than safelites quote and the glass is the same brand as what safelite used.

I had a fantastic experience with Safelite. I set an appointment and they started within 20 min of me arriving. They came up personally to ask if I wanted any additional services. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I had to wait a while and it was nice that the bathrooms were clean and that they had water in a fridge. They made it extremely easy to use my insurance and made sure I was aware of follow up maintenance. I would recommend Safelite 100% to anyone!

Worse place to try and get a windshield. Not only the highest price but cant get to you in a reasonable time. And the automated calls are enough to make someone not use them.

This company lies and they make excuses when you try and get them to stand for their warranty! The tech came out and first he said Id need to take the car to the body shop after he removed my windshield, bit I told him that was not going to work for me and nobody had mentioned that rust spots could even be an issue, so he agreed to warranty the work and material, so a day later my windshield popped and stopped working on one side. They sent the guy back out he said it wasnt anything hed done but it was working fine and it didnt work at all after he looked at itao he made it worse and then they refused to talk to me any longer because I was getting angry because they were refusing to even come back and get it back the way it was, but I just wanted to let everyone I can just to go get it done if youre able. These people wont stand behind their work or word so Id go elsewhere. Im having a lot of issues with car people lately and them being honest
Initially we went to the location to set up the appointment which was absolutely fine. As the appointment approached we realized that it would needed to be rescheduled due to an out-of-town appointment. We attempted six calls and not one of the calls reached a representative. The menu does not allow for you to speak to a live person suggest that you go online and abruptly hangs up on you. That is not customer service. So we did not reschedule our appointment.
Scheduled appointment for last Friday, showed up and they said glass didnt come in. Someone had called 20 minutes before the appointment to notify but didnt bother to leave a message. Rescheduled appointment for today. Was told 1.5 hours for repair. Took truck in, waited an hour past appointment time to be told truck was being taken back and it would be another 3 hours for the repair. Got picked up, made it home to have them call and say truck was ready (about an hour after leaving). Communication is nonexistent and the little that occurs isnt very accurate. Receipt shows truck was vacuumed, was also told it was vacuumed out but considering the amount of glass still inside (including large pieces), its obvious that didnt happen. Would recommend looking elsewhere.
Getting someone on the phone is ridiculous. You simply CAN NOT talk to someone from the store and are instead redirected to the call center. Was also give 2 different quotes for the exact same thing, the later quote being 150$ more for nothing extra

I use USAA so I cant speak for other insurance companies but USAAs app was quick to roll my tight into scheduling with Safelite. When I arrived I was greeted promptly and welcomed, they checked my appointment and said they would be with me in a minute (I was about 10 minutes early). They came and looked over my repair explaining the process answering all my questions along the way. They repair was pretty quick and I was back on the road quickly.
I have some concerns about future repairs because of my most recent visit by a Safelite employee and I’m hoping to get some answers and clear up parts of the entire process. I scheduled a visit through my insurance (Progressive). This is my first encounter with having to have my windshield repaired. The Safelite employee arrived in a nice and timely manner, and even was considerate enough to follow the instructions to call my phone to alert me prior to arriving. They seemed considerate and polite. When they showed up, they inspected the “less than pea sized” chips I had on my windshield, and at first told me they were too shallow to repair and were concluding they would take no steps to do so, stating “they would just fall out, since they are so shallow. Sorry”. This concerned me because it was unthinkable to me that they couldn’t do anything about the damage, and the sprayed chips were all over my driver side. It took some encouragement and insistence from me to convince them to just try whatever it is they would do, and they went through their five minute process of filling the chipped areas. I did notice they did not clean the area prior to sealing it with whatever material they used, but I am not very assertive and didn’t think much of it with my limited knowledge of the process. It was only after researching it that I realized how not cleaning the area could seal in debris and be potentially harmful and look aesthetically unappealing, and I could find nothing regarding any complications regarding shallow chips. With this being said, should the employee have cleaned it first? And was it really acceptable to discourage me from wanting the repair even attempted just because it was shallow?After the procedure, the employee gasped at how “it held and didn’t fall out”, and then said they weren’t even going to charge me (and my insurance) for it since it was only a repair that was about a few minutes of work. I assumed it was kindness and maybe to make up for how I had to debate with them to even do the procedure, but I am worried that it may have been something to cover their tracks in case they’d done something against the books and didn’t want anything holding them to the appointment, since it was technically “canceled”. Is there someone that can reassure me about this whole situation? I’m definitely a worrying and paranoid person because I’ve had a lot of people take advantage of me concerning vehicles due to my limited knowledge and experience with these things, and this makes me feel like since it didn’t go off as smoothly as I imagined, I’m not certain I’d want to try Safelite again in the future. I am withholding name of employee that serviced me for now.
On time appointments and great technician. Replaced my passenger window in about 1 hour including vacuum up of the pieces of time glass fragment. Very happy, as usual.

On my way on from work Thursday night something flew up and hit my windshield. I went online to Safelite and entered my insurance info and booked an appointment for the next morning. It took about 30 minutes and I didnt have to pay anything.
Friendly, courteous, extremely quick. Took 20 minutes from the time I pulled in for them to fix the crack in my windshield. If I ever need glass work on my car this is the place I will go.

My tech, Anthony, was really friendly and informative. I was told they would be at my house between 12-5 and he was plus I got an automated text telling me when he would be here. He also went above and beyond and cleaned my windows and vacuumed for me. He let me know the possibility of the crack spreading and explained the process. I knew what to expect thanks to him and I was happy. Really quick, no hassle experience.

These guys are quick. Great service from everyone inside. These guys even vacuumed my SUV. I don’t even know when I’ll ever need to replace my windshield or have to do a chip repair again but if I do these guys are where I’m am going.
I booked an appointment a week in advance and then the night before my appointment they tell me they dont have the glass and it will take a week to arrive.

Very quick service. Only issue I have is that the dash of my truck was covered debris from the work amd there was still some glass on the dash. When I brought to their attention that the dash camera was on incorrectly the front desk person acted as if I was asking too much. He asked me if it was after market....that doesnt matter. It was there before you did the work put it back. The technician was very professional about it, came out and fixed it. I would have left more stars, but the attitude from the front desk person and the dirty verhicle killed it for me.
Very Professional job. Only dealt with one person the whole time. Made it very easy. I would recommend them!So I find out that I have a leak from my windshield because it was not installed correctly. Caused all kinds of electrical problems- been in the dealer for a week. Safelite will not pay for any of the damage. I had to use them because of my insurance company. Next time I will take it some where else.

I had the back windshield put back into my GMC Sierra 2500 and it only took 45 minutes from the time I arrives to the time I left. The staff are very friendly and made sure I recieved the best service possible.
I gave them an opportunity to correct the issue before writing this review but have not heard from them in weeks.Arrived at the store before my appointment time. Ended up waiting almost 20 minutes before the tech came out to get my keys. They pulled my car in and then pulled another car in halfway behind mine. During the time my car was in the shop the tech spent a lot of time going back and forth between my car and the other car. He finished the car before mine and went out and gave it to the customer thus taking longer to finish my car. When they came out to give me my keys they did not tell me anything about their warranty program or even a thank you.When I went out to my car I noticed that there was dirty foot prints on my floor boards where the tech stood on them while working on my car. They also did not put the wipers back in the proper location.My real frustration came when I received a survey a few days later and they asked a bunch of questions such as did they clean your windows? Did they vacuum your car? Did they give you warranty information? I put all this in the survey and said they did none of that. At the end the survey asked for my contact information and told me they would follow up with me about my experience. Its been almost 3 weeks and I have not heard from them.
I got my back window replaced at Safelite. They stepped on my handle piece and broke it. They can not get the seal back on my van. It rattles and you can still hear the glass rattling around in it. I asked to speak to a manager was told he would call me and replace the piece. I have heard nothing from them. Called Safelite was on the phone with them for over an hour and I was told they could not reach the manager either, but would have him call me back. I still have not heard from them. Good thing I have pictures of everything, what a nightmare this has been. Go somewhere else this place is a ripoff and zero customer service!
Safelite works with insurance companies to quickly get peoples vehicles repaired and back on the road. I commend the Chattanooga office specifically for quick excellent work. Safelite is the way to go when you need auto glass repaired.

First of all, I waited 4 business days for a call to schedule an appointment before giving in and calling customer service myself to schedule. The safelite rep even told me the office just hadn’t been bothered to call me. Then I waited at home 2.5 hours for my appointment before receiving a call saying no appointment today. Would not recommend this office.
Everyone was very kind and helpful. They explained everything they were going to do to my car and didnt take advantage of me at all. My windshield looks brand new, and it didnt cost me too much either!
I scheduled a home windshield replacement for my old truck. When they arrived, I pointed out that the former owner had put some sort of adhesive behind the outer seal in some places. They refused to do the install, siting it would need to go to a body shop, be sanded, primed, etc, and they refused to do it.They refunded the cost of the windshield but still charged me for the home visit, even though they never even touched my truck.I just left Binswanger Glass on Amnicola. They replaced the windshield same-day. No problems. No body shop. No charges for a job they didnt do.
