I was originally in the store to help my mother pick out a new watch. At the time I was with another phone company. Before leaving I ended up switching to Verizon and getting a new phone, watch, and iPad, for less than I was paying at the other company. Steven helped me and my mom with making great selections on all of our devices. He answered all our questions and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable with them. I would highly recommend visiting this location if you ever need any help or are just browsing around.
When I walked in the store today I was completely frustrated with Verizon and the lack of help I got on a phone call which prompted the visit. Stephen met me at the door and was able to quickly turn things around for me. Starting with attempting to assist me with a car issue.He was knowledgeable and fast and super nice and reminded me why I like Verizon so much.

They do not honor Verizon Corporate policy and only try to force you into making poor buying decisions. Ive been in the industry for YEARS!!!! Go to corporate. These people are a pathetic joke. I called ahead and they said there was no wait time. When I arrived at the store, I was able to meet with a sales rep, Steven, immediately. He was professional and extremely patient with all of my questions. I had not had a new phone since the IPH7 came out. It was an anxiety free experience even though the whole process took one and a half hours. I will come back to this branch again if needed.

On July 23, 2021, I had the displeasure of having to take a completely broken tablet to your Charlottesville store at1200 Emmet st, N ste140, Charlottesville, Va 22903. The gentleman that waited on myself and my wife was one of the very best at what he does for a living. Not only with politeness and professionalism, but with a great attitude in getting me what I truly needed for a replacement. His knowledge and deportment were beyond what can be expected of an employee. Our time spent with Jacques Mathews was one of the best buying experiences we ever had. I came to meet my best friend while she was waiting to upgrade her phone as we were waiting she mentioned me upgrading my phone and her salesperson Steven was right on it. He ran some numbers for me and I ended up getting a new phone and Apple Watch. I was with another phone company for years but his customer service automatically made me consider switching over. I work in retail and it’s very hard to find people who will go that extra mile to make sure you get that unforgettable experience and that’s exactly what he did. Didnt have a good experience. The guy helping me didnt listen to my questions and kept going over ground we had covered. 100% salesman mode, not trying to help me with my situation (as Im only in the US for a few months). I think they must be inventivised to push people into certain long term contracts. In the end went and bought a Samsung Galaxy s21+ outright from best buy.
Had a complicated situation, was not looking forward to spending hours in the store to fix it. Steven was on it immediately!! We ended up having to change things but Steven explained everything and all my options . He even sent me omw and called me when he had everything fixed. Verizon is lucky to have him!!! After speaking on the phone with two other members of customer service with Verizon I was annoyed and frustrated so I decided to find the closest store near me and go in to talk to someone in person and Im glad I did Steven was so helpful and made a bad experience with Verizon 100 % better!

We purchased 3 cellular lines and 2 devices from your store Dt. 03/28/2021.The sales agent (Mr. Jonathan Gilliland) falsely charged us for processing fees / our time at check-out without much explanation on what the charges were. Initially he tried to charge us $80, but when poking for answers about the charges, he dropped it to $40 - saying - We can give you a discount on that.When we spoke to Verizon customer support / billing department, they informed us that there are no processing fees incurred to customers. When they helped us understand the charges, we realized that we were charged $40 for Device set up fees, when in fact Mr. Gilliland did not set up either of our devices we purchased.

When I decided to purchase my sister a new phone with Verizon for Christmas I was a bit reluctant. Not due to the price but having to deal with a salesperson. In the past the salesperson was snippy and in a hurry. They didnt want to take the time to help me with questions or help me select the phone I wanted. They always pushed for the most recently released and higher prices ones. That was not the case this time. My salesperson was Jacques Matthews. First of all, he was extremely polite and didnt rush through the sale. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. The conversation was pleasant and informative. He was undoubtedly experienced and knew everything about the phone I was interested in. He ordered the phone and stayed in touch until the phone came in. Then set up a time convenient with me to pick it up. When I picked it up in the store he helped me with instructions on how to activate it, receive a trade-in and completing the warranty on the glass cover I also purchased. In this day and age its not common to have such a good experience. It should be but its not. A lot of other places want to rush you in and out . If they make a mistake they dont even care to acknowledge it. With exceptional employees like Jacques Matthews Verizon is definitely setting the bar above their competitors. Bravo Verizon for having an employee as good as Jacques. If its time for a raise, Give it to him. He deserves it!

Rob Morris was PHENOMENAL! Usually cell phone purchases are about as fun as dentists and insurance but Rob made the entire process so easy for us. We just moved from Florida and needed to switch carriers for better signal and upgrade our phones. He got our family of 4 hooked up and saved us a ton of money in the process. He was beyond thorough and explained everything and every penny so we knew exactly what we were paying. He even took the time to set up all of our phones and put them in cases with screen protectors. The last time we did this (with another carrier) we got handed all the boxes and told good luck. He was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable. Good peeps!

Went above and beyond in his efforts to help, even staying after hours to ensure we left with everything set up properly. Went in to get a new phone because my old one wouldnt let me make any calls or take any and I was under the impression that everything had transferred over like the guy said and came to found out that none of my recent photos transferred over and they said my contacts transferred over but not all of them did and with doing a trade in they deleted everything off the old already 😤😡

Very very helpful and friendly. Completely understanding about certain situations and did what they could to help me and make the pain of how expensive buying a new phone is a little less complicated. While going over options I had they were very clear and happy to explain what anything meant multiple times. I was not made to feel like I had to buy the most expensive option and only have it this way. As I was in there everyone was helped in timely manner.

Best phone store experience I’ve ever had! I went in to replace my phone that got dropped in a river. Walked in and was helped immediately. Steven set up my new device and walked me through recovering everything that was on my old phone. Knew exactly what he was doing at each step, and even gave me a lesson on grilling beef ribs while we were waiting. Incredible staff. 10/10 would recommend

Paul and Lloyd both gave me their personal contact numbers if I had any issues.If that wasnt enough, I was having a heck of a time with some Verizon apps tech issues. I made multiple calls and did online chats with tech support. Each one ended without any resolution. I walked into the store on a Monday afternoon to try to get their help with a complicated task that multiple Verizon support specialists said I needed to do. Paul instantly knew what to do (and significantly more efficiently and effectively). I was in and out in less than 7 minutes.I would highly recommend them.

I had a very old phone and have been resistant to upgrading for YEARS! When my screen cracked beyond repair I found myself forced to upgrade. Amber, my sales representative, was very patient with me throughout the process. She is very knowledgeable and was good about showing me what she was doing as she was setting up my new devices. (I bought a new tablet while I was at it.) When I left I felt comfortable with my new technology and very please with the services Amber provided. After losing my phone and failing to get a replacement to work on my own, Lloyd was able to work with me to activate the replacement phone.
