The manager Ryan at the Charlottesville Va Target seriously needs customer service training. He was “To Busy” to help me and told me to “move out of the way of the registers” I’ve never been so disappointed with Target. Thankfully, the customer service representative at the 1-800 corporate office was very helpful.

Friendly staff. Clean, well organized stores. Competitive prices. Lots of variety in products.

Really nice cashier last night at register 6. She took the time to find out where cloth masks were located in the store and then directed me to the correct area. Was also very friendly at checkout.

All of the employees I interacted with were super friendly and eager to help me! I also really enjoy the store credit deals.

Its WAY better than Wal-Mart. Its not crowded, there arent any obnoxious store patrons, and its clean! The lanes are big enough for people to walk and go around other people. Their self checkouts always work without any issues. And their card readers accept Google Pay (which is AWESOME!)I just wish they would buy the entire store front and turn it into one of the rarely seen Super Targets. People seem to think this is a super target already, but it is not (Id know I used to work here).Also, I saw a review that somebody says they were being tailed by target loss prevention & employees, that is a blatant lie. They only come up to you when they 100% know you stole something (which isnt difficult since there are cameras literally everywhere), and even then its just loss prevention, not regular employees. Target isnt Pottery Barn, now Pottery Barn employees will follow you the entire time (no matter your race).The whole only yuppies & stuck up people shop here comments arent true. Yes more of them shop here, but thats because Forrest Lakes is right across the street (duh) and Wal-Mart is absolute garbage. Also, how are you going to leave a negative review because of the other store patrons? Smh. Besides Ive come across many more rude customers at Wal-Mart than at Target.I saw annother review saying Target is more expensive, when in fact it is not. Target has the same prices as everybody else (sometimes cheaper if you shop through the app).

No hassle and no questions asked. The item didnt fit, the lady was lovely and friendly, and the cash went back on my card. Nice. I also noticed that Target have stepped up their game regarding a wider range of sizes and styles in those sizes. Bravo Target - keep it up!

The Drive Up pickup tends to be fast. The Target app makes it easy to let employees know you’re there. Good customer service by pickup employees

I went to my local target to get the BTS butter album. I was super nervous because this was my first-time price matching. The cashier was patient and didnt rush me at all. Even though I was shaking from nervousness.

If you don’t look or act like a clean cut wealthy yuppy then you will be under the microscope here.The workers/security constantly follow me around while I shop I guess because they’re stereotyping me as a shoplifter? I can’t shop in peace here without obviously being trailed. Also, the type of people who shop here are usually pretty rude and or stuck up.Not to mention the same exact things cost more here compared to other stores. I guess you’re paying for the “atmosphere”

We were looking at getting our daughter a bike. Unfortunately the size bike she needs only comes in a box. They had 1 in the shelf but the box was opened and damaged. I asked an employee who Im assuming was a manager because he didnt have the regular color shirt on if they had any others in stock. He scanned it and said no. When I turned the corner there were 4 more in stock. All 4 were also damaged and open. I dont appreciate that he said he didnt have any in stock just to get rid of me. Anyway off to Walmart.

Our go to target here in CHO. This store is managed very efficiently and fairly. I felt that they rationed stuff in the way it was required during the pandemic so that everyone could get what they needs for the most part. The store is neat and clean. Good selection of baby stuff.

I sincerely wish that I had a Target closer to my home. I used to be a faithful Target shopper when I lived elsewhere. Now that it is at least a 1/2 hour drive to get there, I dont get to shop at Target as much as Id like to. This Target is a super Target? Not sure if that is what its actually called, but it has groceries as well as all the other goodies.This Target is clean, well lit, and staffed by very nice and professional people. One of my favorite things to do at any Target is to shop their clearance! You can find great deals at their various sales and clearance areas. I highly recommend you shop them.I also really like Targets brand. They make some very good snacks. I am a fan of the trail mixes but be careful, as some of them are disguised candy! So if youre buying for your children, I would stay away from the more candy oriented trail mixes.All Targets have great selections in makeup, skin care and hair care. I feel its hit or miss when it comes to their clothing. They also have really great things for your home. All at good prices. Definitely recommend...

All I have to say is WOW. All other targets PALE in comparison to this one. Whenever I go to a different target all I can think is dang I wish I was in the charlottesville target. Three words to describe this place: organized, uncrowded, AMAZING. Id give it 6 stars if I could.

Very nice Target! Always clean and well stocked compared to other Targets in Virginia. Wish they would staff the check out lines better. But they enlarged the self-check out. I guess that is just a sign of the times. Just a personal thing. I try to support the worker! The recent remodel gives a nice fresh look to the store as well.

The quality & variety of items available makes Target a go to, would love to see larger womens underwear and bra sizes as well as larger sized shoes for men.

The Charlottesville Target at Holymead deserves a special thank you- I lost my ring last week and was convinced I would never see it again- had it for over forty years!! but there it was in the safe draw!! Thank you for being the best.We have been TARGET shoppers for many years and like this store- the associates are great- helpful, polite and always willing to spend time to help us to find items.The renovation has only improved the stores appearance and during these hard times it is a very pleasant experience to shop there- the store is exceptionally clean.THANK YOU for bering so caring.

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. I took my kids to get their flu shots today. My 6 year old had a completely meltdown about it. The pharmacist handled it so well and got the shot done quickly. I also got mine and I almost didn’t feel it at all. I didn’t catch her name but I hope she sees this and knows how much I appreciate her handling a hard situation.She also did the shot for me 3 year old and my 3 year old didn’t cry at all and it was over quickly.

No sanitizer available at registers for customers, one dispenser at front door empty. Have we forgotten covid 19 and a mask needs help: as in sanitizer!!!!Once one of the most proactive now none active.Disappointed in Charlottesville

The Charlottesville Target store is always exceptionally clean and the staff is friendly. The stock of items is generally on point, but sometimes the selection is very limited.

Their service. I was sent the wrong item and had to reorder and pickup at the store. They let me keep the item that was not what I ordered because of their mistake. You rarely see a store that does this!

I have had multiple bad experiences at this target. It is not organized very well. Although, it is a super target they are consistently out of items. The inventory never matches up with what is online. I usually get nonverbal dirty looks from the people wiping off carts. I’m not sure if they are unhappy with their jobs or mad that I am a nurse in scrubs going to target before I go to work lol. Also when I shopped the 90% off Christmas sale today... literally all of my items were 90% off, but I had five small peanuts Christmas blankets (literally had Santa clause hats on them) that were not ringing up at 90 % off. The cashier told me that the managers weren’t coming (umm ok?), and when I told her that they were a part of the christmas sale, either 90 or 70 percent off is what the sign said - she proceeded to ask another employee who could not have been a day over 19 how much they were. The young woman said “they are the price they are when you scan them” - Please tell me why every other Christmas item in the store is on sale except for Christmas blankets? And also target has things marked wrong all the time and is happy to fix it at every other location I’ve been to. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the C’ville Target. I would like to get treated like an equal, or at least a paying customer, at a place where I spend thousands of dollars per yet at. I recommend Ritz Carlton training for these folks 🤣

I visited the Target in Charlottesville Va., Picked up numerous items had asked several people on my way to check out about helping me find a certain amount gift card, could not get anyone to help me! I went to self check out and the register paper was low and the young girl came over and put paper in it and acted like she couldn’t remember her code to sign in so then I had to wait on her to do that, then so I looked at a little redheaded guy with the beard working and asked him could he help me find a gift card, he says ma’am we’re already closed, And this was while she was putting paper in the register. so I just grabbed two others. Then when I scanned the gift cards in, It had asked to scan something else Another code, The little redheaded guy had such an attitude, I said you know what, just put all the stuff back I’m not getting nothing! He said awesome not being sarcastic like now I have the stuff to put back awesome like that I wouldn’t get anything, he was happy that I wasn’t getting my items. He was the rudest person I have ever come across, then I asked to speak to a manager and a young girl named Nicky came up to the front and she was just as rude as he was because I asked her about his name because I was on file a complaint and I said he does not have a name badge on, she’s like I can’t give you his name I said if he had a name badge on I would know his name. She didn’t offer to help either with the gift cards....nothing when I said I just put my stuff back because he grabbed all my stuff and transferred it to another basket so while all this is going on ice cream was melting everything. I just feel sorry for whoever buys the cold stuff that it sit out that long. Then all she said was no apology or nothing what door are you going out, I’ll let you out the doors were open anyway for the construction work that’s going on in the store. I told her I was going to file a complaint she said nothing.... nothing at all! This was the worst experience I’ve had in target and I probably would’ve spent $300 that night but target better do something about it’s employees because they are supposed to have name badges on and maybe their managers need more training because you don’t treat customers like this!

I went to Target to pick up my order with the drive up option. I waited somewhere between 10-15 minutes and no one came out. No big deal, I went inside. Mask on, phone in hand. They werent busy only one person ahead of me. The CSR was chatting up a storm to the customer in front of me, being super friendly. That customer leaves, and I step up and the CSR was RUDE, and never bothered to be professional AT ALL! I could put her name on this review, but whats the point. She knows she was RUDE, and I truly pray she finds a job elsewhere and NOT work with the public.

No info on what entrance to pick up at, waited 15 min with no attendant. Tried to call twice and was hung up on twice then had to go in to store and wait 20 min at return counter to retrieve my package. Worst online/pickup experience Ive had yet.

Target is a great place to both work and shop. You will probably spend more than you think; Every time I go into the store I see another little knick-knack I somehow rationalize buying.

Our cashier, Deedee, was very kind and patient with us when we had an issue paying with a gift card. She asked for help, someone came over and very calmly gave an answer, and we were all set. Thank you to Deedee!

Their customer service was great, and I learned about how you can get your flu shot there with a $5 off coupon. That promotion was a great idea. Not sure if they do it year round? Anyway, this one is clean and staff are welcoming and helpful. A wide variety of kitchen items, reasonably priced.

I drove 2 hours to this Target from Northern Virginia since this was the only place that had a bike within my budget (COVID-19 bike shortage times), so I ordered with the pick-up-at-the-store option and reached about 40 minutes before closing. I assumed the bike would be in a box so it would fit into my car and if not, I would buy a car rack to place the assembled bike. Unfortunately, the bike was assembled so it wouldnt fit into my Civic and they were out of racks :(. So I had to find a way to remove one of the wheels to fit the bike in the back seat. Im not a handyman at all and had no clue what or how to do it. This was at 9.30 pm at night, so nothing in the vicinity was open. Enter Target employee JANET, who abandoned her cashier kiosk to help me find a tool to remove the wheel! That was a life saver as I was running out of ideas other than leaving the bike there for the night and making the 4-hr round trip again the next day. Cheers JANET, thanks for the great service. :)

The manager is rude. My wife, mother and son were in the store and was approached by the manager who told them they had to wear masks to be in the store. My wife explained they had medical conditions that prevent them from wearing them and he said it didnt matter, they had to wear them to shop. Your website says if you have a medical condition you arent required to wear them. Will never shop in your stores again!

Clean store, good prices and good atmosphere. Able to find most of what I was looking for in the store and complete the check out quicky.

This one star is for the drive-up service. They forgot half of my items, and i had to wait an extra ten minutes to get them. do not sign their thing until you check your bags. Lesson learned...

Affordability, good quality products, wide range of options but definitely need to work on organizing the clearance racks for clothing. It’s next to impossible to find things in such a messy area. When I would finally find my size hanger it was almost always a smaller size incorrectly placed on that hanger. This has caused me to leave Target for other better organized clothing stores. It’s become a frustrating trend at Target locations that I visit over the last couple of years.

The store is pretty good except the women’s purses are all over the place. Also there is an employee in the makeup department that is very rude as well as uneducated concerning the products in that section. I couldn’t get her name but she has short dark hair and usually wears a bandana. If you have a question you’ll need to ask Anyone else but her!

Target has a great selection. The store itself is beautifully designed and organized. I like the discount that I get when I use my card.

This is a typical Target, with a generally good selection of products. I am not a fan of the location, which is out of the way and inconvenient to many of us living closer into town. But the shelves stay stocked, and the facility is clean. You have to know where to look to find the store itself, but there is usually plenty of parking. This location (as many are starting to do) has self-service kiosks, which I really think diminishes the feel of personal service. It may be faster sometimes, but it means they let the lines at the real registers back up longer than they used to.

This Target strange layout compared to other targets, making it harder to find anything. Also seems to have a smaller than normal grocery section with no fresh produce at all.

Ordered a frying pan online and the shipping was very quick. I found a crack in the pan and exchanged it today. Customer service was awesome. They even refunded me a dollar!!! What a wonderful experience...Thank You Target.

Quick stop that wasnt very quick

I went to use a gift card there, and it gave an error code. The person working just shrugged and said that since the checkout machines are sensitive and I bought it at another Target, it wouldn’t work. This seemed lazy, and would be ridiculous if it were actually the machines fault. Wouldn’t be too bad, except that I drove 25 minutes just to use the gift card. Otherwise clean and well lit.

So I Saw There Gonna Remodel This Target:( I Drove By It Today I Better Hope The Restrooms Will Still Be The Same And Never Get Remodeled Because I Love Those Kohler Fixtures In The Men’s Room I’m Sure There Only Gonna Remodel The Grocery Pharmacy Clothing And Move Stuff Around Probably Keep The Cafe And Put A Guest Service I’m Hoping The Restroom Wont Be Remodeled Because There Restroom In The Store Is Always Clean So It Should Go Ahead And Remodel The Store But Keep The Restrooms The Same Way Please Target Corporation And Workers Here

Courteous service. Store always neat and clean. It is hard to find items most of the time and they frequently dont have what Im looking for, i.e. things they should carry but dont and frequently out of what I need.

It was very clean and the employees were nice.

Staff is helpful if present, but they seem to be short staffed. Starbucks is very below standard and I have seen flies in the pasty display case on many occasions. Pizza hut section seems to be better managed. Everything else is like any other target store. This store is quite far from downtown Charlottesville and can take you a good 15 $ + UBER trip to just get there coming from UVA. It is very close to the airport however and is located in a complex that has many other stores and restaurants.

Quick and easy.

Has a lot of videos but not everything is in stock. Went looking for a TV series. They had some of the series but not as much as Wal-Mart (which also did not have all or as many videos all total). No photo because I am not at Target right now.

Polite & helpful staff. Competent, friendly pharmacy. Always nice quality products & selections. A joy to shop at the Charlottesville Target.

Despite its faults, its usually better than Wally-World. The personnel are generally nicer, the store is still cleaner, & its generally a quiet experience.The weakest area is Food Court: Either the popcorn machine is broken or the popcorn is burnt. Rarely do I walk up to the counter to see staff there. The Icee machine usually has 2 flavors (they have 6 spouts) ready to dispense. The Starbucks there is decent & does a brisk business.

I don’t come to target for much, but when I do, I know exactly what I’m looking for and if on an off chance I can’t find it. Every single one of the team members working in this target will be glad to help me find what I’m looking for.Way better than the Walmart in town. Pshh.

Easy and fast pick up.

Always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best of all they open up additional lines when the check out is busy.

I do not shopped at Target often, but have had very good service when I have been in the store. I also think there is always room for improvement. That said, I was very pleased with the customer service personnel who answered my phone call about the items I was interested in. They offered to pull the items off the shelves and place them in the Guest Service area for me. I was pleased with this convenient process as I only needed to inspect the items prior to purchase. Both Guest Service personnel were friendly and helpful. When I questioned the on line price being different from the tagged price upon check out, the amount was corrected to the price I expected without any fuss. I learned that sometimes there are two prices for the same items...the store price and the online price. So my suggestion to other customers is to come prepared to get the price you expected to pay for the items should there be a discrepancy if you have proof to avoid any delays.

A typical example of a well run Target. A bit higher prices than walmart but so much nicer products and general experience. Target brand foods and items are all good quality.

Left my goods at the register because nobody came for an ID check. I would have waited longer but after making eye contact with 5 employees who didnt even help I decided to leave. The self checkout lady was helping everyone else with the red light on except for me meanwhile you got about 10 employees just standing up front talking amongst them selves doing absolutely nothing. I hate seeing a lazy front end.

Although the store is nice and not too crowded, here is my most recent experience - 1) I bought several items, one of which was a new bath towel which of course was not put in my bag and I had to go 10 miles back the next day. I did call and inquire if it was there and they said yes and I could come pick it up. 2) I went up to get it and got some Keurig coffee pods (one box). Before I left I thought my amt was rather high and I had been charged for two boxes so I went to customer service and when she was not talking to her friend, helped by taking it off. 3) On the second trip, I also bought an inexpensive set of tableware to use outside, it was sealed and was to have 12 pieces in it. Naturally, there were only 11 (3 knives), Will try and have food that does not need to be cut as there is no way I am driving again to Target

They have practically everything you need for a reasonable price.

Every Target store Ive been to has been clean and organized. Theres always an excellent selection in each of the departments, and theres almost always a deal going on in at least one area.

It depends on how far the person lives from a Target, if the item they are buying is sold by Target, if Target typically has a good price on the item, and how well I am compensated for this survey. Time is money, and I dont want to do your market surveys for free.
