We were looking for a rug and had bought one at another store years ago that went out of business. In an effort to find the previous store to buy a rug we happened to find Magic Rugs. We had no clue about the store until google lead us there. The customer service is truly what sold the rug. The team at the store all had the same goal in mind. My experience with the team at Magic Rugs was nothing short of amazing! They went above and beyond to help me find a rug that I love for my living room space. They brought out rugs from their store room and moved rugs to different locations in their store so that I could see my selections under different lighting conditions. in addition, they let me take my selection home to try in my space. They rolled and secured the rug with cording and brought it out to my car. I didn’t think this type of service existed anymore. I look forward to my next rug purchase with Magic Rugs. I live locally and recently moved into a new home that is requiring a lot of new rugs. I googled rug shops in Charlotte and came across Magic Rugs. The reviews have been great, along with their selection (new and vintage rugs)and quality, so I decided to check them out. On the way to the shop I passed an interior design/decor store and decided to stop in to look at their rug selection. I found one and fell in love with it, however they were asking close to $3600 just for an 8x11. I decided to pass and headed on over to Magic Rugs. Once I got there, I saw the same rug but in a smaller size. The owner stated that he could have the rug made to an 8x11 (needed that size for dining room), but it would just take some time to be made. The cost was also MUCH less than the decor store as well. I started to look around and found a couple of rugs that would be perfect for our living room. They let me take a couple of rugs home to try it out in my space. Our living room lighting is off so a lot of rugs don’t look like the color we have been looking for once we get them in the space.Needless to say, I took them back and they let me keep trying out new rugs for the space. NOT ONCE did they ever seem annoyed that I was back exchanging rugs for what felt like the 10th time. The customer service at this shop is amazing and they genuinely just want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Every time I would come in, I would seem to find another rug I liked but for a different space. I ended up with this beautiful runner from India that works out perfectly in our hallway. I highly recommend Magic Rugs.

We visited this store in search of a beautiful area rug that was handmade and hand knotted. We found many stunning rugs and the two young men who helped us were very courteous, knowledgeable and really knew their inventory. We chose an absolutely beautiful and dramatic rug and liked it so much that we bought another smaller rug with a companion. Simply put there is no better quality for the money than Magic Rugs. Super fast shipping, we purchased both a new and a vintage rug. The new rug was a vintage look and we have 2 vintage Heriz rugs in our home already so we knew what we expected. Well......this rug was much better than we could have imagined. Just as beautiful as the super expensive vintage ones we have. We also purchased a small vintage rug and were skeptical about the online pics and description, but in person it was even better than online. Super friendly on the phone, gave us some extra padding and prices for the quality cannot be beat. I recommend them 100%!!!!!

I bought this 35 year old rug from this vendor off the internet. They sent me about 20 different photos so I could get a good feel for the colors, took all my phone calls, answered all my questions. They shipped the rug the next day after I paid and it arrived within 4 days, very quick shipping in my opinion, and shipping was included free as part of the purchase price. The rug itself was cleaned by them, and they did a fantastic job, there were no smells at all, not a trace of dirt anywhere. The white parts of the rug including the fringes at the edge were very white, and there was no bleeding of the reds into the whites which often happens when proper care is not taken. This was a fantastic experience for me as I collect rugs and buying a rug that you cant see in person can be a very disappointing experience, that was not the case here. Best part of this deal is that the price was very reasonable for a rug of this size and just to get a rug this size cleaned professionally is often more than a $100.

This company is AMAZING! They (Matthew in particular) have gone above and beyond in helping me find just the right rugs - in person, through emails, texts, and phone calls. Matthew is very personable. I initially found Magic Rugs online, but was thrilled to visit their showroom while on a trip in Charlotte, NC.There are stacks and stacks; hundreds of beautiful hand knotted rugs of every size and color here. It didnt matter how deep down the stack a rug was, they quickly folded and re-stacked and refolded rug after rug to enable us to see every rug we wanted to see. The prices are as amazing as the options!I am an interior designer and I was so impressed with their inventory and their customer service that upon returning home, I ordered six rugs for a client. Coordinating that many rugs into one large home is tricky, but Matthew continued sending pictures and emails of rug options available until we found exactly what we needed. The rugs were very neatly packaged and shipped directly to the home. Finally seeing the rugs in person was such a treat. I just want to say WOW! Great customer service! I went in Friday to look at rugs and absolutely fell in love with this place. I have been shopping around for weeks and nowhere else compared to the customer service I received. We left and shopped a few other places but after visiting Magic Rugs there was no comparison. Hands down some of the kindest, best customer service I have ever received. Every person in this establishment went out of their way to make me happy (and that can be hard!). I felt like they truly cared about my satisfaction even if they were not able to meet my needs with what they had. They had a great selection, I just found them too late! I am lucky that I live close to the Magic Rugs showroom, and get to see their entire inventory of beautiful rugs. I purchased two rugs, a new Gabbeh and a vintage Yalameh. Both are wonderful quality and just right for the space theyve been placed. I marvel at the skill that went into the Yalameh every time I look at it. Matthew & staff are very knowledgeable, and tell you exactly what you are getting. If you are purchasing online, I encourage you to call with any questions you have. I recently purchased a 7 X 10, 100% wool, tribal Oriental rug from Magic Rugs, Inc. I was having trouble with color, as my computer just isnt accurate, color-wise. The people at Magic Rugs, Inc., could not have been more helpful or patient. The rug arrived yesterday, and I love it. Additionally, they promised to keep an eye out for a coordinating runner and contact me if one comes in.
