Took a fairly new generator to this place as it wasnt running properly. I knew the issue was old gas in the gas line/carburetor, and made sure to tell them I thought that was the issue. They took my $50 deposit and said if that was the issue, the cost would be another $50-$75 to fix. 3 weeks later they tell me the generator needs a new carburetor kit ($60), a new service kit ($50), plus 2 hours of labor at $75 each hour. Total cost of $283 for a generator that cost me $300 brand new. I told them no way, that I knew they were trying to gouge me since they already had my $50 deposit. Had a company called Mobile Mower Repair come by to take a look, and they fixed it in well under an hour. All they needed was a $15 needle valve and seat. Total cost was $90, and it would have been less except they charge a minimum service fee of $75. Thats right, I got it fixed for less than 1/3 the cost of what Certified Lawn Mowers wanted to charge. I would never recommend Certified Lawn Mowers - once they get your $50 deposit they will try to fleece you. I am sure they will reply with some ridiculous excuse, but these numbers are FACTS.

Charlie that works there was unbelievably unprofessional Please dont spend your money there they are unprofessional, Dropped machine off that was running all it needed was a carburetor they tried telling me they have to take engine apart to fix it.

One of the better run businesses Ive been in recently. From start to finish. Attentive, friendly, informative, and professional. They made sure all inventory was out for us to see, spoke simply about each product, and did a quick demo at the end. Will definitely recommend and return.

I purchased most of my small equipment from certified lawn mowers because they were nearby and professional in the transactions. The only problem is that everything but 1 chainsaw I bought from them had reliability issues within 2 weeks of purchase and getting warranty work done is like herding cats. On top of that they dont insure warranty work for any longer than the warranty of the machine so the belt for my $1000 lawn mower slipped and destroyed the blades 3 different times (just mulching leaves and mowing grass)I paid $425 for them to redo warranty work that they had already done twice. Plus they take months longer than you are originally told and they charge you twice as much as the original quote. I have spent close to $10,000 with this company and I will NEVER spend another penny with them!Edit: their solution to scamming me out of $120 and improperly reassembling my mower was giving me $25 in store credit and the part that broke on my mower. Absolutely worst customer service I have EVER experienced!

As a new home owner dealing with tree issues, I had very little knowledge about chainsaws, which is why I am so glad I went with Certified Lawn Mowers. Not only did they have the highest rated mid-range chain saw (according to Consumer Report), but their customer service was top-notch. They set me up with all the accessories (oil, chain lube, etc.) and showed me clearly how to use it. I wouldve been happy there, but the best part was how well they assisted me 4 hours later when I ran into an issue (user error of course) with the equipment. You wont regret working with these folk!

I took my mower there, they lost my mower and were not very friendly about it. Also, they were not very friendly in working with me on my lost mower. Will never go back there. Park Seneca Lawnmower is much better and family owned.

This has been a store where I have bought my machinery for years, and today I went to pick up a new machine and accidentally dropped a small bag, the cashier called me and it turns out that insulting me that if one goes to his store to leave garbage, one does not go most terrible person sincerely an oversight to any happens but not to call and insult
