I worked for family dollar corporate from 05-09. Back then there was an emphasis on quality customer service. I guess that doesn’t apply to this store. Nearly every person that works there is angry and rude.

Surprisingly efficient for a last minute stop. Covid protocols in place as well.

Love it brand new products, clean store.

This is a small store, jampacked with inventory. Good place to grab detergent, cleaning supplies, and all sorts of miscellaneous stuff. It is certainly convenient and priced well.

Very friendly and helpful staff. This store has almost everything! Dont let the area outside fool you.

The store was stocked from what I could gather AND they actually had a lot of carts to place your purchases in. All Family Dollar stores does not. I rated it 3 stars because of the bystanders that appeared to be beggars. Mask is required.

As soon as you walk in the door the smell of pee greets you. Once you get past that point (if you can stand the atrocious stench) now you have to navigate through the cluttered isles. Be careful though, it’s mine field of rodent droppings. If you’re grabbing merchandise off the shelves stay alert! I’ve spotted enough critters to fill an apartment complex. I’ll say this though, the staff is very brave. Anyhow, if you don’t mind all that integrated into your dollar store shopping experience, let’s see how you like loiters bugging you for change in the parking lot. Low prices, though!!!

Good reasonable prices.I Just find it annoying that they always have one line when its a whole bunch of people in line! I even spoke to the cashier asking her how she was doing today, -when it was my turn to check out, she was busy having her back turned complaining about her shift to her fellow coworkers & how badly she needed a cigarette! I find that completely unprofessional, they really need to do better with their customer service skills!!

Simple shopping just in and out...I wouldnt come on a day when they are restocking cause it is a little congested and hard to move around besides that great people and very sweet and willingness to help.

I worked at this store from November of 2014 to June of 2015. I liked the close proximity of the store and where I was living but my employment there wasnt good at all. I then moved to Family Dollar on Woodlawn and loved it WAY MORE than this one. The old manager there when I was working there had me work overtime and I didnt get paid for it. Her ass got fired!

Some workers can be very rude. Buggies are always in front of the ATM, move the ATM. Its not my favorite FD, its just the closest. Update: the store has made a big Improvement. Staff are more friendly, its easier to get around the store since they remodeled, much better. But the ATM is still in a bad location.

Worst customer service ever. This place is worse than McDonald’s. I sat in the parking lot at 7:56am and they open at 8am. I needed envelopes and sticky notes before work so I got out of my car at 7:58am and the employee standing outside told me “we’re not open yet”. Umm yes, I know. I can read your hours on the door. You open in 2 minutes. I’m just waiting! Is that ok??? And they said no, were not open yet. That’s fine. There are hundreds of other places in Charlotte that sell cheap office supplies. I was only going to shop here because it’s around the corner from my office and I get to work at 8:30. But I’ll gladly go elsewhere and pay more to not have to deal with the BS, attitude, and ignorance. These people need a lesson in customer service from Chick-fil-A. Clearly they don’t care about their job. This is not my first negative experience at this location. It’s probably my 10th bad experience but when I was told to leave and not wait this morning, that just sent me over the edge so here I am telling the world of google just how sh$&%y this place is. Don’t waste your time! Go to target or Walmart. Even Walmart with one cashier is better than this place.

Nasty attitudes for no reason .

You are able to get almost anything you need here.... including great conversation and a smile.

The store aisles had carts of stock that needed to be put up but, other than that it was a pleasant visit and the cashier was very nice. Great customer service.

The worst store Ive ever encountered. Boxes always in and out the aisles. Shipments comes in they seem to not have certain products their restock is weak. Unorganized display in store looks more like a tornado went through it, they have THREE cashier station and one is barely open. The check out lines is ridiculously long and cashiers are always rude. Listing these problems I guess Id have an ugly display too.

The area and store are kind of dated in an area not everyone might find comfortable or appealing. The store is cramped and narrow, making things harder to get around but still fills a need in a pinch.
