I would give this store -10 someone is gonna get HURT or try to sue this location it’s soooooo cutler. Boxes, store yellow buggies filled with mess, this big tall iron roller cart filled with boxes and mess you gotta keep going around it, the shelves are horrible, messy and always empty! if you need something you gotta look thru the boxes that haven’t been put out on shelves they’re just sitting on roller crates WHAT HAPPEN TO THIS STORE WHEH IT WAS REMODEL stuff every where and check this out something smells rotten and old DOLLAR GENERAL GOT LOTS OF MONEY TO DONATE BUT NOT TO EMPLOYEES

I love the employees, I love this store ! But I have to give a big shout out to Marvin ! When I come into the store I know I’m safe, comfortable & will experience a great shopping experience ! I love the way he greets the customers & is always working but quickly responds to a need of customers / employees. I live next to a family dollar and a convenient store but for the best experience I drive a lil further to this location ! Every store needs them a Marvin ❤️ Thank you

This store is awesome. The employees are very warm spirited genuine and considerate to what goes on at this store. I cant forget about the store manager. She manages the store with her best ability. She always strives for fives. So yes i want to give thanks to all employee and give this store overall five stars.

Rude and unprofessional employees. Tommy, especially. Asked him a simple question and he was not able to answer it. It’s such a small space; how do you work here and not know where the storage boxes are?! Dollar General, do better. Hire better.

I never give reviews but I had to this time the dollar general in north Tryon looks so good . All the shelves are nice and full. Beverly the cashier greeted me and the manager behind her( I didn’t get her name ) but she said good morning and asked if I found everything okay . The new dollar general rocks !!! Looks clean and smells clean !!

I havent been to a Dollar General in years. Since I moved to North Carolina... I cant stay out of Dollar General! They always stocked and the cashier is so nice, great attitude and so polite, just a real sweetheart, she always ON POINT!Thanks

Wowwwww I been living in the area since 2016 and the dollar general has never looked this good . The new layout looks awesome and lots of more food and thing to buy !! The new employees are very nice and kuddos to the new manager for making my dollar general awesome again . Yes I said mines because that is the only dollar store I’ll go to in north tyron !!!

The employees arent the problem. But the company and the customers, of this specific store, sucks.

The place to go when u need to pick up something quick

The store was a total disaster. Rolltainers blocking aisles and things all out of place.

Went right when they opened. They were stocking so the mess was somewhat understandable. However I did see several public safety concerns. Right away I noticed an employee, whom I found to be the manager; Brii, was on her personal cell phone discussing business scheduling issues loud enough for most customers to observe. She used foul language and was not being a good role model for her subordinates. I asked one of the young employees for a box to take home and wrap a Christmas present in. While the girl and I talked about the size I needed Brii interrupted and very rudely said, we dont do that, we put them out to recycle. By that I guess she means out back to get rained on and destroyed; rather than letting me actually use the box, thus recycling. So I went to the gift wrapping section to purchase a box. I tried to call my fiancé to ask what measurements I needed. Brill, still on the phone, continues to bash me to who ever she was speaking with. She then walked over to harass me asking if I put a 10x6 box back on the shelf. She then followed me around the store to suggest I wasnt welcome. So I left. Managers should have better skills when dealing with the public. I would suggest additional training for Brii if she wants to continue her journey up the corporate ladder.

Employees were nice they helped me find everything I needed also the store was clean all around nice && friendly most definitely will be back!

A wonderful market to shop at. Even in busy times excellent customer satisfaction response to price checks and product location in the store.

Everything you wants is there and everyone is very nice and respectful.

Staff was nice. I always find something good and delightful.

Friendly staff. Would give it 5 stars, but sometimes its inconvenient when the guy is selling vegetables at the entrance (which is also the exit) and there are people parked there shopping for vegetables which makes it harder getting in and out

It was very cluttered, And the new management team doesn’t have any basic customer service skills. Last week I saw her arguing with a customer and by the looks of their cart -they spent a good bit of money. But I don’t do a review for them. Today she was really rude to me. Long story short. I won’t be in there for a couple more months. Every year this happens with this particular store.I am in customer service myself and it really is a shame.I filled out one of their surveys and posting on here. Monday I will find out CORPRATE number and call it.

Employees are hateful!! One girl actually rolled her eyes at me just because I asked which register was open!! Not one employee has ever been friendly. They do not value their customers at all!!!

The place is clean and everything is well sorted, and it has safety dividers in the line. The cashiers are friendly though one thought I gave them the wrong amount of change but they were chill.

Im usually in & out but you can definitely find some festive & seasonal decorations at a very good deal, if youre the type to save money but make it look expensive.

Your sales associate mr. Ellis was blocking the aisle with a cart as he stocked shelves on the dog food aisle. I said excuse me and he said he couldnt roll his cart to move it out of my way then proceeded to be rude until I checked out. I let the (cashier) assistant manager know and she said she would let her manager know how rude he was. I know it doesnt seem like that big of a deal, but that one rude act and his attitude afterward did not make for a pleasant shopping experience.

Mr. Ellis at N. Tryon Dallar General, While stocking shelves had a cart set cross ways blocking the aisle. Asking to be excused he became very rude and refused to move the cart.
