Took parts off my car never replace them.Took over 6 weeks to do trim work, air conditioning which they took serveral weeks . A lot of promise to do the work were made but they never completed from week to week. Then Terry stop answering his phone. They put on struts I purchase my suspension worked good before they put the new ones on which they had aligned from profit and they had to aligned twice. All in all it was a bad experience for me.

I found Advance Collision in the fall of 2019 about 2 months after I had moved down to Charlotte from Boston. I had been in an accident and as a new resident to NC, I had absolutely no idea where to go. I followed the recommendation of someone at the local Pep Boys. Terry and his team were amazing at handling my accident with insurance, making sure I got a rental car and doing a terrific job at repairing my vehicle body damage! The repair was done so well that no one would have known there was an accident. I now take my car to him anytime I have auto body damage and recommend Advance collision to anyone who needs auto body repairs done.

Unprofessional, the lobby/waiting room was filthy as was the bathroom. It looked like a scrap yard! A 40-minute job turned into two and a half hours. They didnt order the part that they told us about. We went to the dealership for a second opinion, only to find out that Advance had broken the part! They didnt even line up the screws right. Thats what we get for trying to patronize our minority business. One star is giving them WAY too much credit

I was the victim of a hit and run. The whole drivers side was messed up, it was horrible. Terry was the perfect man for the job. He calmed my fears and worked with my insurance. This shop went above and beyond to give me my car back quickly and I swear its never looked better. I told him I didnt expect perfection and he said he would give it to me anyway, and he did. They gave me a car to drive while mine was being repaired and had it done a day early. I cant recommend Terry highly enough. When you pick up your car youll want to hug him.

My chevy Cruz 2016 front end was total loss for others but I called Terry and he said bring it here. 2 weeks later the car is returned to me in New condition inside and outside. This business is the truth when it comes to body work, professionalism and understanding. I will continue to do business with this company and you should try him. He does it all from paint flip to body work.

I was nervous bringing my car to get fixed after someone hit me. I was assured that it would be a painless experience and it was. I was rented a car right when I dropped my car off and was told 5 days to get my car and it was just that. I was able to get text messages on the update of my car and pictures of everything. Terry definitely kept his word and I appreciate that so much. Also my car looks like new!!

Don’t ever go to this rundown hole in a wall body shop they’re terrible. If you care about your car or its of value don’t ever think about taking your car here. I have so much to say about this place but I’m trying to save anyone of all the trouble I went through with this place. If I didn’t make it clear enough don’t ever take your car here you’re going to regret it. I hate the work so bad I don’t even want my car anymore

Paul and his crew were excellent. I own a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek and this was the second time I brought it here. They did an awesome job both times and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any body work or a paint job done. Quick turn around time, fair pricing and great customer service. I was in an accident and was tricked into using this business because I got a call from a gentleman that worked there claiming he was calling from my insurance company early one morning(woke me up) telling me where I to my car. I didnt know that he was employed by my insurance company unitl I had already given them my business. I have a 2016 Honda Accord and when I went pick it up the first time. They had put a dent on the side rear of my car. They werent going to mention it but I looked it over because I just didnt trust them. And found it. So he took and repaired it. I took my car in for front end repair. They didnt put the lights in correctly the side headlights are lifting. The paint is chipping. The Honda emblem is extremely loose. When I got my car washed. The front end (supposedly metal) started to peel of. It was a like a foil covering. I was told by Honda that they were off the market parts (fake). I contacted Terry and was told to bring my car in for repair. When I took to Terry I showed him everything. And explained to him that I really try to support black businesses.But its things like this that makes one apprehensive when it comes to us supporting one another. I showed him my lights, the paint, the front end and the emblem. And explained to him that when I had my previous Honda that someone hit me and I took to a white business and I never had any issues. So he assured me that he was going to fix . So I took it in on a Sunday. Today is Thursday and when I called him he acted like he didnt say he was going to fix my front end the grill paint and emblem. I am prepared to go to court and sue them because they are getting paid to do legitimate work and they are buying cheap fake parts and putting them on your car. I have all my emails that I emailed them about the man pretending to be a representative from my insurance company and tricking me into giving them my business. If you a nice car and need it repaired take it to a legit business. Someone that cares about their business reputation. That isnt about ripping people off and tricking them into getting your business. You will regret that you took it there. I am a fair person. But will not sit around and be taken the advantage because of someone elses greed. I will fight for what is right. And I will win. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I had a great experience at this place and would recommend it to everyone. My first experience was about a scratch on my front bender and Terry quoted me a reasonable price and I said I would be back. I sort of forgot about it until a guy went down the side of the car. I went around getting quotes and Terry only quoted me a third of what every one else asked.Every one said 3 to 6 weeks.Terry had my car ready in 1 week. He even painted the front bender without me asking. My car looked Brand new and they even took it and had it cleaned which was very much needed.They are a great bunch of guys and I truly recommend them to everyone to stop by and get your car renewed by them. Went to pick up my truck to find out they forgot to paint the bottom of the bottom of the fender. GPS showed they took it out on a joy ride thru Hidden Valley. Still dont know why . Emblem on fender not mounted right they claimed its been discontinued but its the same emblem used today. Wont be using them ever again or recommending them to anyone.

They started texting and calling me every morning for the past 4 days. I was constantly very respectful and told them to leave me alone. After about the 10th text this morning, I got nasty and told them to go somewhere. The lady responded by cussing me out. Very unprofessional, have been spamming me for days with texts, calls, and voicemails, and Im fed up with it.

My car was hit in the middle of the night by a hit and run driver. Stressed out and not knowing who to trust I happened on ACC. They were wonderful. They handled everything, helped me obtain a rental, dealt with the insurance company and got me back in my ride within a week. They took the stress away. Highly recommend them!

I always bring my Cars to Terry ever since he fixed my Chevy back in 2015 after someone purposely stopped in front of me trying to get insurance money. messed up my front end pretty bad. When Terry and his team was done with it you couldnt even tell it was in an accident drove amazing looked amazing. Brought my Subaru to him after an accident at 5pm need a new suspension system Terry had my car done late the next day and ready for pick up on a Sunday. Very fair upfront pricing no hidden fees or bullcrap. when he quoted me a price I couldnt afford he went over the work that needed to be done and let me know what was absolutely needed and what would be cosmetic. Since I was paying out of pocket for this accident I didnt care to have a dent or a few scratches. Picked up the car and test drove it and frankly it drove better after he fixed it than before I got hit.

Does good body work for fair price

Please take the time to read this review.....I was in a car accident on November 26th, 2018. I had pretty much a brand new car, 2018 Nissan Altima. I chose this shop because they seemed reputable, at first, and were black owned so I wanted to support them and give it a shot. Here we are almost in April of 2019 and my car is still not repaired. I have taken my vehicle back and forth to this shop a total of 5 times. Each time I picked it up, it was not fully repaired. I have been told lie after lie as to WHY it was never repaired properly. I was told parts were on back order. 2 months ago I went to pick my car up and was told it was completely fixed. Then noticed my bling spot sensors were not working and also it was paint on the inside door panel of my back seat. One thing after another . And the PAINT, My car was originally gun metal gray and now the side which I was hit on looks like it has a blue toned tint and you can see paint bubbles all over it. HORRIBLE job. I am 110% DISATISFIED with this company. The front passenger bumper looks like it’s hanging, where the screws were not properly replaced. My window no longer rolls down. Geico first cut them almost a 7G check and the work was “done”. Now today I receive another call from my adjuster and apparently 3 more parts have to be ordered and also another check has been cut to these people. If you can help it, don’t take your car to advance collision on S Tryon in Charlotte. I have been given the run around for almost 5 months now, on a job that was originally supposed to take 5-6 weeks. I also asked for the owners information and terry would not give me the information. I am sick of this place and now just want my damn car back. I waited to do this review because I was simply giving them chance after chance to rectify the situation. But today is the day.

Horrible paint job ( my paint on my bumper is peeling off and has globs of paint everywhere on the car). Horrible customer service, they refuse fix the errors that they made. They are very unorganized and unprofessional, told me that my car was ready and when I went to go pick up the car it was just now getting painted. I wouldn’t recommend them to ANYONE AT ALL PERIOD!!! Just a terrible company and terrible business !
