Used a “cheaper” service in town and realized you get what you pay for. Recently switched to Plantscapes and they have more than delivered at keeping my lobby looking beautiful. Customers now come in and compliment and ask what the flowers are called, where as before they never noticed. Courteous staff that’s always on time. Wish I had switched to them sooner.
The only thing consistent with this company is them charging my credit card. There are constantly “additional fees” that get tacked onto the quoted price. Naturally, I only learn about these after I have been invoiced and charged. Over the past year I have had to call numerous times because my delivery didn’t arrive the day it was supposed to. Each time I spent days playing phone tag with the owner, Diane. No apologies have ever been said. Not even for any inconvenience last minute reschedules have caused me. I am currently trying to cancel my service and payments with them but they refuse to return my calls or emails. Hoping Diane or Kristine will see this and reach out before they charge my card again. So much hassle for average plants and horrible customer service.
Charlotte Platescapes Inc. is run by individuals that listen to their customers needs and fulfill them. Their team members that Ive worked with over the last (2) years in a cooperate office environment have always been very knowledgeable and on time; two characteristics that can keep a plant alive or kill it! I wont use any green thumb clichés but they do know plants! Thank you for taking care of our plant needs and holiday décor Charlotte Plantscapes. We appreciate your services.

My experience with Charlotte Plantscapes was almost identical to the other negative reviews on here. Appointments for plant maintenance that never showed, products payed for that were not delivered, plants that my customers always commented “looked like they were struggling”, but credit card payments run with military timeliness. Unbelievable. Don’t get me started on trying to express frustration to company owner Kristine or the receptionist Diane. Horrible customer service is an understatement.
I have worked with the team at Charlotte Plantscapes for almost 10 years now and only have wonderful things to say. From install to the service my plants have thrived with the care and devotion this team has given. I would highly recommend Charlotte Plantscapes to anyone who loves plants, but lacks the time to care for them. These ladies know what they are doing.

Been trying to speak with Kristine for two weeks about plants that died not a month after they were delivered and “cared for” by Charlotte Plantscapes at my office. Seems there are quite a few complaints that “are not customers of record” according to the responses on here. No doubt I will get the same. Such a sad excuse for customer service. You can email and call until your fingers cramp, no one is going to respond or live up to their promises.
Never arrived when they were scheduled and rarely called to let us know. Anytime I would call with a concern or anything pertaining to a project they had done for my office, Diane and Kristine were short at best and downright rude at worst. Diane appears to have a complete lack of respect for others based on my interactions with her. She hung up on my assistant! I cannot believe they treat clients the way they treated us and are still in business.
Despite some pretty alarming reviews on the integrity of this business and it’s owners, as a woman and owner of a small business, I wanted to give them a chance. That was a HUGE mistake and I hope no one else makes it.I hired Charlotte Plantscapes to do a few planters in my lobby/waiting room and signed up for a monthly service package. The flowers they installed were rough looking at best but Diane (owner) assured me that all plants look like that after transport. I wasn’t pleased and was beginning to doubt my decision to work with them, but their website “guarantees” all plants and promises replacements so I just figured worst case, I could ask for that.Fast forward not even a week and most everything they installed was dead and/or dying. I called and called and got no answer. When Kristine (Dianes daughter and co-owner) finally answered, she gave me a run around about the plants, replacement, etc. She told me she couldn’t do anything and I needed to speak to Diane. I spent another week trying to get ahold of Diane and when I finally did, she was incredibly rude. She was practically yelling at me on the phone explaining how it was impossible to guarantee plants and that it was ridiculous to say so. When I pointed out her website says they do, she told me there was nothing further she could do and hung up on me.Short story? This business is unethical and cares about nothing and no one. Not their customers and, from reading other reviews, not the contractors they work with in business. They take whatever they can from people and get away with whatever they can. Unbelievable.Don’t make the mistake I did. Take your business elsewhere.
If you want to deal with rude and immature behavior from grown adults, then work with Charlotte Plantscapes and their owner Diane Schwab and her daughter Kristine Brockman the VP. Based on other poor reviews, they seem to have a recurring issue with not paying their contractors, which was our experience as well. It would be great if they would pay us for the work we did. Instead, they paid us, then reversed the credit card charge after they received and approved our services. As if not getting paid was bad enough, we had to endure owner Dianes childish rantings while she screamed at us on the phone on more than one occasion, then had to listen to Kristine calling us back to repeatedly cover up for her mothers obnoxious behavior.Our experience dealing with this company was nothing short of absurd. Their unprofessionalism and family drama get in the way of them delivering anything of value. My advice: get your flowers at the local hardware chain and avoid the circus.
ACCEPTED SERVICES THEN DID A CHARGEBACK ON THEIR CREDIT CARDCharlotte Plantscapes - Diane Schwab and Kristine Brockman specifically - hired me and my family’s small business to do a number of professional projects for them.After signing off on and accepting multiple thousands of dollars of work, they REVERSED THEIR PAYMENT VIA CREDIT CARD. In all my time working with small business owners, I have never experienced such an underhanded, shady, or obnoxious act. Reversing credit card payments breaks every unspoken ethic of small business to small business relationship. Even worse? I have emails and texts from Kristine Brockman AFTER THE REVERSE WAS PUT THROUGH (before we had been notified) requesting further revisions and work.In addition to stealing services from my company, I had to endure a phone call of non-stop yelling, berating, threats, and hysteria from Diane, followed by a call from Kristine explaining that her mom has a temper and she was sorry.I went back-and-forth about sharing my review, but after reading other reviews from contractors who have gone unpaid (until Diane and Kristine were called out publicly for doing so), and a customer who was basically told they were lying and didn’t exist because they dared to complain online about the horrible way they were treated by Charlotte Plantscapes, I felt I needed to.In my experience, Diane Schwab and Kristine Brockman treat people however they want, disrespect others time, take whatever they want, and expect no consequence for their behavior. They will either try to handle it behind closed doors (like the contractor they paid but told to take down her honest review and real experience) or lie. It seems they care about their reputation only enough to lie and cheat to maintain it, not enough to do the right thing by people.Update: An investigation has been opened up on their credit card reversal and we have turned in a two inch thick stack of emails, time stamped documentation, and otherwise for our work and experience with Charlotte Plantscapes. I will continue to update here.Also, thank you to everyone who is willing to brave the wrath and share their honest experiences here. It is so important that we protect other small businesses and consumers with the truth, no matter how much we fear the consequences from people Kristine and Diane.
