I bought a washer and dryer set off of Mert. He noticed that I did not have a washer and dryer hook up and told me to contact my leasing office and they told me that I do not have one I called him pick up the washer and dryer, this was in September. We are going into November and he will not refund me for washer and dryer that he KNEW I would not be able to use. He has been dodging my phone call. I would not make it has business at all!!! That he will come and pick up the washer and dryer and he will never come. He will not answer the phone when I call either. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM.

BUYER BEWARE! Please reconsider buying second hand equipment (at your own risk!) with this establishment. They are selling appliances that have been restored enough to fool you into believing it will function as advertised. Once a repair is required, they make fake schedule dates with no call, no show and then make it impossible to contact them. Completely unprofessional and a waste of great property space in NODA. Very disappointed.

Purchased a washer and dryer set within the last year. For $800. He claimed they are in good shape and won’t give me problems & they’ll come fix it if problems arise. Turns out, they have been giving me trouble ever since. Dryer won’t heat, now it won’t turn on. Washer smelt like old bacteria and mildew when I first received it and now it doesn’t even turn on. Called Mert and has said “he’d come fix the issue”… we set up a time for him or his team to come out and repair it… & took time off work to meet him. No show, no response, ghosted me. This isn’t the first time! Seems like New business and revenue is more important to the owner than keeping his existing customers satisfied. And I’m not the only one who this has happened to! I wouldn’t recommend doing any business with this company. Honestly, I am appalled at how foolish I am for purchasing this.

I purchased an upright washer and dryer on good Friday. I mentioned the reviews and I understand how they go. However, he delivered the next day, set it up and I let him know any issues I expect a good response. My second weekend washing and I have no complaints. Will refer others as long as you understand the word Used.

My experience with NoDa Appliance was good. I was looking for a washer and dryer. I decided at the last minute to purchase a washer and dryer. I googled used washer/dryer and their name came up relative to my location. Since it was so close, I drove to the location same day and spoke with Mark. He was nice and pleasant. Not really talkative (which I like, just get straight to business please.) He provided me all the answers to my questions and showed me washers and dryers he had. He offered me 2 that were being repaired and they were in good shape so I accepted. Delivery was scheduled in 2 days however, weather was bad and there were call outs. (I get it, no one likes to work in the rain) He reschedule for following day, stayed within that time window came out, hauled away old washer/dryer and put in newly purchased one and did install for me in under 25 minutes. I work from home. So this was nice, he did not have to come in and out of my house and disturb me. Had washer/dryer for 2 days now and washes fine, clothes are not ruined by smell or stains, washer and dryer were fixed up nicely. Thank you NoDa Appliance.

I purchased a washer and dryer. The delivery was the next day. I called them the same day to report the drum in the dryer is not tumbling. I was assured someone would come the next day to fix. It is 5 days later and no one has called or come to fix my dryer. My patience is running thin. I cannot dry my clothes. My next call is the attorney generals office.

Horrible experience. I Purchased a 500$ refrigerator on May 1 it immediately started leaking from the bottom While under his warranty period. The water coming out of the dispenser was also brown and has not cleared up, Even after I bought a new $50 filter. Ive called the owner Mert. He twice stated he would come out to the house to fix it or replace. I took time off work to meet him and he never showed up on either occurrence. Not to mention I explained to him that the leaky water was ruining my floor. I have since called him 40 to 50 and texted him and he does not respond. I would not do business with this company.

If I could give this place negative 10 Stars I would. They started off really good but QUICKLY CHANGED MY THOUGHTS. I PURCHASED A FRIDGE, WASHER AND DRYER. 30 DAY WARRANTY IS AND WAS A JOKE. The dryer went out and the came and replaced it no problem. The washer went out the same day and leaked water from the inside. Again this was within the 30 days. I was told someone was coming to pick up the washer in August. Well its almost December and they still havent showed. I was told by the owner he would come and trust I still have the text to prove it all. The dryer they brought doesnt dry week after 3 cycles. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CLOWNS. THEYRE SELLING JUNK.

I purchased a washer and dryer unit from these guys and it was the worst experience ever. First they delivered the wrong machine after I waited from 1pm til 5pm. They called me back after I said I didn’t want that machine and they offered to deliver the correct one. Now I agreed and also sold them my old machine dryer and washer. So I received the machine and it’s broken and water poured of of this machine smh then I tried to stop the water and the machine was in the spin cycle which sounded like a train was coming through the building. I’ve been calling these guys to no avail has anyone answered of returned my call. Buyers Beware!!!!!

On Feb 14th I purchased a microwave, stove, and dishwasher from Noda Appliance outlet. Once the appliances were installed it was noted that none of the appliances work. The oven does not turn on. The microwave does not heat food and the dishwasher leaks when it is washing dishes. I have been in contact with Noda Appliance outlet. over the course of several weeks. I was promised replacements of these appliances and new installation. On several occasions, they were a no-show no-call when it came time to fulfilling the promise that was made to me.

The dryer is a good dryer ! The deliver was nice and prompt. Came right in friendly staff and delivered it and installed as well. EVEN TOOK OFF DRYER OFF MY HANDS !!! Pricing wasn’t an issue as u still come out cheaper getting one and having it delivered and installed compared to other competitors. I recommend this company 100% for any quick appliance needs. Even includes a WARRANTY !!!!

I wish this had a zero star option. This transaction started smooth and I was assuming this was a reliable business despite the numerous one star reviews. I can confirm that all the reviews you will find on Google and the BBB are accurate AF! I have also notified the BBB bureau and local news to look deeper into the SCAMS this company has probably attempted to pull on many customers.I attempted to purchase a washer and took it home to install. Before I left I confirmed if the washer had any issues I would be able to swap it out or they will fix the issue. So as a consumer, I took the companies word and called as soon as the washer was cleaned and installed .The Samsung washer had a UE code so I contacted them immediately and attempted to switch it out. Calls and texted went unanswered until I had to show up and demand my refund. I have saved all my phone calls and messages to this company as proof about the lies. Do yourself a favor a look elsewhere for any appliances .

Stay away. It’s a scam. I purchased a washing machine 2 1/2 weeks ago. It stopped working the first time I used it. I contacted the owner. He said he would exchange it the next day. Never showed/called. Then he said he would exchange it 2 days later. Never showed. ... this trend has gone on for almost 3 weeks. 17 promises to show and exchange it, never shows up. I asked for a refund, he stopped responding to my texts. I stayed home from work today and gave him one last chance to keep a promise to honor his “guarantee”, he no showed and has now stopped answering my calls. He stole my money and wasted so much of my time. I have now done what the others here did and filed a complaint with the BBB (and have agreed, like others, to speak to the media about it. He was already in the news recently I learned from others who had the exact same experience). If it isn’t rectified quickly, I will be filing a civil suit against his company as well.

I purchased a refrigerator on January 18. The one I picked out was used and needed cleaning as it had remnants from the previous owner still in it along with a mild odor. Noda stated he would clean it and that I could pick it up on Sunday even though they are closed on Sundays. He stated he would meet me there at 11am. He never showed. I was purchasing it for a rental unit. I go back Monday to pick up the fridge during business hours and he’s not there and won’t pick up the phone and the mailbox is full. My wife has to call from her phone pretending as if she were looking for appliances for him to pick up and agree to show up not knowing that I would be there waiting. He gets there and hasn’t moved the fridge since Saturday or cleaned the fridge. He did nothing that he stated and is not trustworthy nor a person of his word. I would not recommend this place for business at all. No one is ever there during business hours and customer service is horrible.

Used Noda appliance warehouse for used appliances at a cheap price, and they showed up the day of delivery to nonchalantly tell me it would be another day-unprofessional due to scheduling purposes. Mert delivered the stove and BROKE the range power supply cord thinking no one saw, then had to email them to come to refund or repair.They also delivered it DIRTY, and argued it was cleaned, when it clearly had grease all over it and inside of it. Had I not seen when they broke the cord they would have taken money and not done anything to address issue. They deliver appliances that half the time dont work and give unprofessional responses. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Try Urbina appliances instead!

Dealt with a guy called Mert, nice guy, delivered my fridge the very next day and very affordable price.

Recently moved to Charlotte and they were a one stop shop, fixed me up with a full kitchen set and washer/dryer all for a very good price. Delivered and installed the next day, couldn’t ask for much more than that.

This past Friday 2/28/2020 we made a purchase for a stack washer and dryer from noda appliances warehouse and repair paid $500 cash 399.00 for the washer and dryer and $89 for delivery and Ronnie Miller who is supposedly a employee there took our money and made it to our attention he could delivery it to us the next day 2/29/2020 Saturday at 5pm and never came but called stating he was so burnt out tired that these people think hes a robot ask he could bring it Sunday 3/1/2020 we said thats fine thinking this poor guy was really tired so we agreed for him to bring it as he said around 10 til 12 that our our machine will be the first he will bring. Same excuse came again he was so busy delivery that he is own his way that he was still in Charlotte . This place is a scam I advise any to not buy for Noda appliances warehouse cause they still your money and dont bring your appliances as promise.

I definitely see some mixed reviews here. My experience has been grate! Picked up a part to repair my dryer. He showed me how to replace the part and it worked fine. But another part broke a a week later. Went back to get that part and he gave it to me for free! He spent the time to explain how to replace the parts myself so I didn’t have to pay for install, he told me if I had any issues replacing it to call and he’d walk me through it. This guy is nice and has been responsive to me.

The better business bureau ranks them as an F and I have to agree. Would recommend staying as far away from this place as you can unless you are a fan of being scammed. They deliver faulty products and then ignore you when you try to use the 90-day warranty. Phone calls, texts, Facebook messages, and even visits to the business are ignored once they receive your money. Avoid the headache and go through someone more reputable if you can.

Bought a Used Range, Guy didnt want to leave receipt. I had him do it, thank god took pic of license plate. Waiting to see how they respond to the 90 date warranty. Ill live more feedback. Letters prepared for AG of NC, BBB < Attorney, Consumer Protection Bureau, And Local Tax and License Bureaus.Promised a half dozen times to refund, and Mert the owner did not. He continues to to this time and time again. More Reviews and Letters to the NC Attorney General to follow, Gave him a chance, but he not to help and to continue unethical business practices.

All I have to say is THANK GOD for NoDa Appliance Warehouse & Repair!! It may have taken me a few attempts to reach these guys, (mailbox full and waiting for the truck to come in with what I wanted)....but these guys called me and got me the used stove (Kenmore) that I desperately needed for my Mom. This stove is like new and works like new. They delivered it, hooked it up and even removed the old junk one we had. ALL WITHIN OUR BUDGET!!! IM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

The owner was professional and helpful. There was a large selection to choose from at the store. We had a small issue with the timer not working on the dryer, but he came out to our house to fix the issue free of charge. The dryer we purchased was clean and even dries clothes faster than the one it replaced.

Took 2 days to deliver a washer and dryer set after being promised it would be delivered the day after purchasing which promptly Mert insisted I go to the bank and give him the money in cash. After installation, there was a hole in the drain hose that caused leakage. He promised to come fix it for 4 days and has NOT showed up or returned text/calls. My roommates father had to come fix it, as well as install a hose for the dryer. I highly recommended not purchasing from this company, they have the worst costumer service.

I wish I could say this purchase worked out but it didnt. I purchased a washer and dryer last week. The dryer died after the first load blowing the thermal fuse. We called and he did answer and say that he could come and fix it the next day and assured us that that would fix the problem. Since the part was only 4 bucks we decided to replace ourselves rather than waiting. It was an easy fix however the fuse blew after only one load again. Meaning that something was wrong with the heating element in the dryer. I tried to contact them over 3 days with no response. Im sure if Id have gotten to talk to someone it could have been fixed or replaced but I could get no answer. So would just be aware of what you are getting into before you waste $350.

We bought a washer and dryer set loved the price and the fact that they delivered the problem was when we got home and the installation was not done properly and our laundry room flooded, and after a month our dryer stopped heating. We were under the impression that it was covered under a warranty but the owner has ignored text and failed to return calls. Very disappointed with the level of professionalism and the fact that I gave recommendations.

He promised he will deliver it by fri sept 27. He never showed up or called. On sat he called and gave me some excuse that his truck tire was flat. He asked to give him till Monday sept 30. He promise he will deliver the washer and dryer. Once again never showed up for delivery. I tried to call him multiple times and had no luck. I decided to use a diff phone to called him. What a surprise he answered the phone. I asked him if he wasn’t going to deliver the washer and dryer please refund my money. He promised if he doesn’t deliver them by fri oct 4 he will refund the money. Here I am oct 8 with no washer and dryer or my money back. I will take this to the better business bureau. I can’t believe they are still in business. Save your time and money stay away from Mert and NoDa appliance. They just going to steal your money. I also think Mert is the owner.

So, unfortunately I purchased a washer on 12/28/2019. Then I noticed the agitator wasnt working on 01/13/2020. 3 no shows and a ton of unanswered calls later has left me totally ticked off. Guess Ill join the group of screwed over customers. Ill follow suit of my fellow comrades of filing reports.

I had to come back to google and write a review on my experience with Mert! I called him Friday 6-14-19 and told him I needed a stove and I didn’t want to come into the store! Long story short Mert delivered my stove to my house NO MONEY DOWN I had my stove by 4:30pm Saturday 6-16-19 and PAID HIM IN FULL WHEN HE ARRIVED! He also set the stove up for me and took the broken one with him! I will forever do business with him and recommend him to all my friends and family! THANKS MERT

I bought a washer and and dryer set here a few weeks ago. I had a couple of early issues with the washer that I shouldnt have had to deal with, but Mert, the owner, was very good to take care of the issues and make things right. I like to support local and small businesses, and Mert proved that he wants to run a good business and that he will back up his warranties and products. I would recommend NoDa Appliance Warehouse to anyone in the market for a decent used washer/dryer set and I will shop here myself in the future.

They are scammers. We bought a stackable washer and dryer from them and noticed it was broken after they installed it. They claimed they would come and fix it but havent answered their phone in weeks . DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Mert was very nice and helpful when it came to picking out the right appliances for me. When he delivered them himself (nice personal touch) he was very professional and efficient. He made sure to check that they both were in working shape. Thank you Noda Appliance Warehouse and Mert!

I have personally experienced both kinds of customer service that reviewers have written about here. I have two phone numbers for NoDa Appliance Repair and for Mr. Oztin himself but cannot get a hold of anyone. I have a long review to write and I would like for it to be positive if I can get a call back and for my refrigerator to be repaired.Edit: I ended up purchasing a newer and bigger refrigerator from another company on North Tryon. You don’t respond to any texts or phone calls and I hated to do so but I even reached out to you on your personal Facebook page. Why does a customer have to try so hard to get a hold of anyone at this business? I didn’t need to talk to the owner, just any reliable employee would have worked. It sounds like you would have a lot of business but you need to get yourself cleaned up and organized.

Gave a deposit 4 days ago. Agreed to a delivery and installation date and time (this morning). No call/No show. Voicemail is full and no response to texts. Now waiting for return of deposit.Update 6/13/19: LIAR!! You (NoDa) did NOT try to call me before the scheduled delivery time. I called and texted YOU several times to no avail! It was the last contact to you via text when I canceled. Yes, I did!!! I did not hear from you until LATE AFTERNOON!!! You gave some cockamamie story about your truck being unable to deliver it and asked me to reschedule for another time. I told you that it was unprofessional for you or your staff to not have called prior. HOURS EARLIER I might have been able to finagle my calendar! You asked if I could reschedule for a later time. I told you No, I could not. I had other standing appointments and already made provisions with you four days before. You then said I wouldnt get my deposit back according to the receipt. I told you, I would take legal action against you for taking my money without neither product or service delivered according to the signed contractual agreement and receipt. And Yes, it was two weeks later... when you returned my deposit. And how IRONIC is it that your response to this review not only comes nearly 3x months later, but you thought your response would be unnoticed and make me look like I was the problem. No, Sir. Your customer service flat out stunk! Thats why your ratings are low; and the place I went to the very next day said theyd heard from other customers of similar horrorid experiences from your business. NoDa Appliance you dont need to reply to this update, just Do Better.

Purchased a fridge, microwave, and stove two weeks ago from this place. Paid a deposit of $850 in cash (absolute mistake on my part). They were supposed to deliver my appliances on 11/10/18. Long story short, I didnt receive my appliances and do not answer my calls. I called from a different number yesterday and he answered. I told him I want my money back and he said he does not do refunds but will deliver my items that night (which was last night). Guess what...he did not. Called and texted him like 5 times, and he did not respond. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. It is a scam. This place has turned what was supposed to be a joyous occasion of buying a new house into a complete nightmare because I feel like I have gotten robbed. Any positive reviews are probably from their friends. I want my money back and will definitely post an update if that happens.Response from merchant below is not how it happened. What happened was, I paid a deposit of $850 and never received my items. I called and called and sent a lot of texts with no response. Since a stove, microwave, and refrigerator are needed household items, I eventually had to buy the items from somewhere else (Lowes). The merchant called me on 11/19/18 apologizing and said he will give me all of my money back since I never recieved my items and had to get them from somewhere else. It is now 12/16/18 and I havent seen a dime and he is not responding to my texts again. You cant explain your way out of everything. Sometimes you just have to take accountability.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. They sell defective stuff and don’t even bother to replace it. Several of our fellow real estate investors suffered by NoDa Appliance fraudulent activity. Avoid Noda Appliance warehouse at all costs. They took payment for an appliance set and never delivered it. This company steals from people.

Stove element needed fixing was within my 30 day warranty, came out next day to fix it.

Great customer service and great prices. Owner was really helpful and nice. Will be back to buy more appliances for my properties.

Sold my wife a dryer that dryed one load of clothes, will not answer the phone or text, she paid $175.00. Dont waste your money or intelligence on this shady crook.....Beware and be on the look out whistle blower nine is investigating investigatin....# your welcome charlotte

Found these guys on google, they have a huge variety to choose from and also have the best prices i found from searching around in Charlotte. They delivered and installed my appliances the same day. Couldnt be happier!

My husband and I purchased a Kenmore Washer and Dryer unit here last Saturday, April 27, it comes with a 90 day warranty. When we got it home and hooked up we tried to run a cycle just to see how it worked. It ended up leaking water all over the floor. We immediately called the number that we had and Mert, the owner, informed my husband that he was already headed out of town but would stop by Monday (4/29) evening to look at it. I spoke with Mert on Monday to confirm a time. He never showed, I tried to call him Tuesday morning (4/30) no answer but he did eventually respond with a text asking if he could come that evening. I responded twice a couple hours apart asking what time and never got a response. He eventually spoke with my husband and told him that they were going to bring us a replacement unit by at the latest Thursday evening (5/2). My husband spoke with Mert twice on Thursday to schedule a time, he was supposed to arrive between 5 and 5:30 pm... He never showed! I called and left him a voicemail asking that we resolve the issue by Monday (5/6) or I would be forced to file a compliant with the Better Business Bureau and potentially Small Claims Court Monday morning. I just now received a response staying Ok I will take care of it.Needless to say after this entire process this week, and the fact that it has still yet to be resolved NO I would not recommend ever purchasing from this facility.*Update*After my original review around noon on Friday (5/3) I received a message from Mert that evening saying I will swap it out no later than tomorrow. I tried to text back twice asking him to confirm a time for the following day and received no response. I called and spoke with an employee who assured me that I could set the time frame, that they were very sorry. I asked for somewhere between 8am and Noon.Saturday (5/4) at 12:15pm Mert texted me and said Im sorry Im not going to be able to make it today. I will send someone to pick it up Monday and give you guys a refund. After this having happened (him not showing when he said he would) we were not surprised and had already made arrangements to borrow a truck (for a second time) and assistance in loading it. We took it down to the warehouse just after 2pm. Mert was there and did issue us a refund of $440, yes $40 more than our purchase price for our inconvenience.The extra $40 was very considerate, but it still did not fix that we did not have a working washer/dryer unit a week after purchase and that we had to borrow a truck / find help a second time because he could not stick to his word throughout the entire week.** He also then texted me Saturday night asking me to update or delete my reviews**I did not feel an urgent need to do so as he did not consider the urgent matter that he had sold my family of 4 a washer/dryer unit that did not work. He then messaged me again on Monday (in which it generally just slipped my mind since I was at work), and then again today, Wednesday (5/8) about updating my review.By no means would I recommend this establishment for any appliance purchases, and will not be returning myself after my experience.

BEWARE!!! Bought a used refridgerator in person at the warehouse in NoDand was promised next day delivery. No one showed up to my home, all my calls and text messges went unanswered. I still have not heard from them. I went to the warehouse and the location was locked. I had to submit a dispute through my bank.

I went to Noda appliance for what i thought was to buy a new dryer. After getting there, the owner actually told me how to fix mine and gave me the part!! Saved sooo much money!! Highly recommend!!
