J&W Grocery on Wentworth Street in Charleston is a great neighborhood grocery store and a convenient stop for all of the basic items that you need. I have had a good experience every time I shopped here and found exactly what I was looking for. A reliable and consistent place to go.

There is a short, white Old female cashier who was NOT wearing her mask! She was VERY disrespectful, argumentative, mean and rude. She needs to be removed. Her eye rolling, body language and vulgar words do NOT uphold the standard of this super amazing establishment! I would like to speak with management as I have Never dealt with anyone like her at all. She is clearly new and doesn’t take it seriously

Basically a rip off of Charlies grocery’s menu. If you guys are in the downtown area, don’t go to this rip off of Charlies. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”, if I owned Charlies I would be flattered for sure lol.

The cashiers are always friendly

Always out of stock. Have asked every day for weeks to replenish Coors stock without results. Sometimes, it is there, most days its not. Called to check before I made trip in this heat and got unresponsive, rude, unprofessional clerk. I give up! Prices rising with temperature.
