Ive been having fun ordering crazy birthday cakes from their bakery. They always bring it on my strange requests. The pics are of a vegan cat cake. People at party were surprised to find out about it being vegan. It was gooood

I had good experiences in finding our pinenuts. We could not find it anywhere.

Pros: very cleanly bathroom, lots of variety, LOVE the vast assortment of single serve cold drinks on hand in open fridges, produce is on sale weekly, Amazon Prime discount prices marked, has self checkout, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, quick checkout with cashiers.Cons: Their buffet does not extend through dinner, must be a Prime member for the lowest prices. Im often not ready with my Prime when I get out my phone and cashiers seem in a rush to get me checked out.

Great place for their $12 main with two sides. Quick, healthy, friendly. Nice outdoor dining area in front of the store. Not too crowded and hectic which I really liked.

I like this Whole Foods Market in West Ashley. Ever since it opened I find myself in there looking for the best and nutritious food and drink items I can find in the Charleston area. I like the layout of this location and find it easy to get in and out and find everything I could need. They have a large selection of many items and everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful to make sure you have a pleasant shopping experience. Overall it is a good Whole Foods Market.

Whole foods does not carry pasture raised chicken. They are passing off their organic chicken as the best. These chickens are still kept in barns and fed corn. I am sick of misleading packaging and would think that if 1 place in Charleston would carry the best things it should be WF. NOT!

I have been ordering from Whole Foods through Instacart since the pandemic began. The last two orders both contained bagged organic fruit but several pieces of fruit in both orders were rotten and moldy. Also the organic half and half I received had expired the day before delivery. I’m not sure if this is the shopper’s problem or the store’s problem but for the premium prices Whole Foods is charging they should be selling premium food and sadly they are not.

People call whole foods whole paycheck for a reason. Because everything is so expensive. But they have the most incredible groceries and some things are just plain worth it.

Great variety of items I cannot find in other stores. This place is usually pretty busy. I havent been able to get in without feeling cramped yet (usually going on a Friday Saturday or Sunday). Store is clean and still taking covid precautions seriously with a checker at the front door and the floors being marked for foot traffic flow.

If you dont know about whole foods by now anything I saw isnt going to better prepare you probably. I just moved from Seattle and I was nervous, since Im unfamiliar with area, about where I might find healthy food choices. Thankfully, my Prime membership and Whole Foods is there to help. The assortment of healthy options, as far as I can tell, is unparalleled, and for the foreseeable future will remain my go-to grocer for organic, fair-trade, humanely-raised products.

Just feedback on the bathroom doors that are in this location push from the outside and pull from the inside where there is a clean escape shoe catch that will damage/soil your shoe while you are inserting your foot under it to pull.Attached are bathroom doors in a Whole Foods near me - thats what they should be everywhere! Push from the inside so you dont have to grab anything. From the outside a clean entrance that is engaged from the top, not bottom!How does the top grocery chain not have one good design policy across all stores??

I stopped in this Whole Foods on a quick trip last week. I was grabbing some bakery items and had some questions about placing a cake order. I received some great assistance from a young lady named Kelly. Her expertise and knowledge was helpful and I appreciated her recommendations.

Former Employee here. Great place to shop. Terrible place to work. Do Not let that $15 starting wage fool you. Theres no room for advancement because favoritism plagues the departments. Managers arent held accountable at all for their mistakes. You can try to take it to leadership but they just nod their heads and ignore you. I chose to leave this job after a manager had made inappropriate comments and assumptions about me and upon requesting a meeting to absolve the situation professionally I was ignored.

Whole Foods in Charleston is excellent. The people are wonderful and customer service is awesome! I was there today and bought food from the deli and coffee from the coffee bar. Alayne and Alycia are so professional, courteous and helpful. Thank you so much for your help today Alayne and Alicia.You both made my day! I plan to come back when I am in Charleston again.

I ordered a birthday cake for my sister via phone because I live in Texas (used to be Whole Foods headquarters). I specifically asked for the head of the bakery to ensure my cake would be correct because it’s so so so important! I asked for a sheet of the Chantilly cake (my sisters favorite cake we order every single year) with “Happy 25th Birthday *insert name*!” written across. Ask any NORMAL Whole Foods and you know there’s always an adorable abundance of berries and the writing is in chocolate and looks so elegant and nice. They originally told me it’d be about $50. On the day my sister went to pick it up they ask for $75 and the cake only has one tiny spot of berries poorly displayed and for some absurd reason they did pale pink icing with poorly written “happy birthday”.... so wrong thing written and wrong icing. Completely ruined my sisters birthday cake.

Atmosphere remibd me if my home, New York. I purchased a vegan Birthday cake for my daughter we loved it, purchased 2 bottles of wine reasonably priced other bargains we found also. Customer service outstanding, it felt like home.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband from this location. I personally spoke with a baker, showed her a sample of the cake I wanted, which was a simple vanilla cake with a chocolate ganache icing. The cake that I received was nothing close to what I ordered! It was white and blue with floral decor??? To make it worse it looked like a child wrote the happy birthday message on it. What a joke! Completely disappointed!!

A little pricey but the food is always fresh.

I enjoy frequenting this establishment. Its always clean, the employees are always cheerful and friendly. Items are always being restocked. There is a light fragrance in the air that is so soothing and inviting, Im tempted to walk around the store longer. Great job whole foods, great job.

Starting a new health regimen and everything on my list was found at this store. This is my new go-to spot for all of my nutritional needs.

First time there. I liked it. Nice, organized, very clean, friendly staff, and found all the items I needed plus more. With everything thats going on, we had to stand in a line outside, but it moved pretty quickly.I would say though that on the door it stated that a mask needed to be worn and if you didnt have one then it be be provided for you. I took that as everyone HAD to wear a mask, however it wasnt enforced inside of the store. There were people who did not have on masks. My thought...if it isnt truly required, why place the sign? Mask or no mask? You do or you dont? Dont make it seem like a select few has to wear them and others dont. Enforce the rule or remove the sign and leave it up to the individual if they want to wear a mask or not.

PRICEY BUT HAD WHAT I WANTED. GREAT SELECTION FOR ORGANIC AND WHOLE FOODS PEOPLE. WILL RETURN.

I usually never shop at Whole Foods, but I ordered over $200 worth of food for delivery. It was AMAZING! I’m not one to write reviews, but I was very happy and impressed with it. They even sectioned out all of the food into categories and showed up right on time. I’m 100% going to do this more often.

I was pleasantly surprised by this store. First thing being first is that I can now have my amazon prime packages delivered there inside of a locker. No more having to wait at home for them to arrive. And no more packages left outside in nasty weather. Secondly, the store is absolutely huge!! Extremely nice and neat. Everything on the shelves are perfectly organized and facing all the same way. Employees who work there are very friendly also. My new favorite store!

I had never really shopped at Whole Foods in the past, I always thought they would be expensive and the closest store is 10 miles from my apartment. I hate grocery shopping anyway—ever since they’ve been in the Charleston area, I’ve been using one of the grocery delivery apps to order groceries at least once a month. However, it gets pretty pricy with the marked up item prices and delivery fees. I just recently found out that as an Amazon Prime member I can get free delivery from Whole Foods if I spend a certain amount, and I’ve used it twice already. The food is always packaged wonderfully and with care, and the veggies are much more fresh than the ones I can buy at the grocery stores that are just down the road from me. They also have different sales promotions (this weekend it was half off all frozen pizzas). Whole Foods just gained a new loyal customer!

With Amazon prime, you expect your shopping trip the same and sometimes less than publix! WholeFoods shopping experience is much better than Publix, Kroger, Food Lion, Trader Joes, Costco, Walmart and others. There is always staff to help you and everyone knows where almost everything is in the store. Makes for a stress free and faster shopping experience. Bring the kids whenever covid ends! Snacks and fruit available.

I dont know who Katherine is, but she is not representing wholefoods well. People there are usually pretty helpful and decent. But she was rude and kind of slack. I said hello, she didnt say hello back. She put raw seafoods in with fresh fruit and pastries and filled the bags up so high I couldnt grab the handle. She even left some items unbagged. When I asked her for a bag for the unbagged items she rolled her eyes. I tried to be polite and tell her to have a good day when I was leaving. She didnt say anything. A job where she has to interact with people may not be her thing

Busy, but great organization for the holiday food pickup.

Its a nice store with great products but i think it lack relationship with the customers, such as greetings and regular human interactions. It lack authenticity. Ive spoke to multiple worker saying good morning and they dont respond. Its such a very strange atmosphere here.

I was just there today and bought the Wild Sockeye Salmon. Make sure you check yours, I am glad I decided to make Salmon Tacos because there were about 20 bones in it while I was picking it apart after cooking it.Otherwise it is a very clean and well stocked store. Smaller then Mt. Pleasant IMO.

I have to eat gluten free and they have a lot more options than a lot of stores

Because of an employee by the name of Ben at Whole Foods located West Ashley, I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. If I could, I would give zero stars. (Please be mindful that I have shopped at Whole Foods for at least 12 years.). Whole Foods is not inexpensive, but I enjoy the atmosphere and the choices and I am blessed enough to purchase whatever I desire. I love cooking, and I have been using Spike Seasoning for years. Whole Foods is one of the few places that I can still find it and when I visited the store a few months ago and learned that the one that I always purchased was being discontinued, I purchased approximately 10 boxes and cleared the shelf. I was unsure of the shelf life, so I involved the Store Manager, Andy, as well as two other wonderful employees who actually helped me search the internet while in the store to determine the shelf life. The manager gave me a few boxes and I purchased 8 additional boxes for future use. The manager specifically told me that if I opened the boxes and they were substandard to let him know. I was able to use some of the boxes, but the unopened boxes began to harden. I called the store and asked for the manager because I know that he would have remembered me. I was in the store that day for nearly an hour only to purchase the seasoning. Unfortunately, Andy was out of the store and Ben told me that he was in charge. I explained the entire story and he told me that he could not do anything to assist me. I asked for someone else and he told me that he was in charge at the time. I told him that it would be really sad for this situation to get back to the store manager when the store manager is actually the person who initially assisted me. In my opinion, you would think that if someone told you that the store manager was involved that the outcome would be different. In my opinion, Ben was condescending, unhelpful, unprofessional, and lacked the ability to problem solve at the most basic level. He offered no solution at all! My Bachelors degree in Management taught me that problems should be solved at the lowest level possible, if at all possible. In my opinion, if it is impossible for the person to handle such a small task, he may not be qualified for the position. Ben could have offered me a credit and I would have been completely satisfied. I did not ask for anything except understanding and he expressed ZERO level of understanding or concern. I reside in Summerville and I traveled to Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant. At this location, I had the pleasure of dealing with John, who obviously has the experience and the ability to problem solve. I told him that I did not expect anything from him because I purchased the items from the West Ashley store. I simply wanted him to take my name and have upper level management to contact me regarding the horrible experience with Ben. I tried calling the Mount Pleasant store numerous times while in route. When I got to the store, I learned that their phone system was down, and that is why I was unsuccessful in reaching them via phone. Guess what? John listened attentively and provided me a refund immediately. Why couldnt Ben do the same??? Not only was John very kind, but Dave who was managing the customer service area came from behind the counter and told me that if I am ever in the Mount Pleasant store again, that he would personally assist me. It is in my opinion that some people CAN master customer servicing and others CANNOT! During this season of Covid-19, political chaos, racial divide, unemployment, and people dying alone, the least that a customer service representative should do is provide exceptional service for someone patronizing their business. I may only be one person, but I refuse to reward bad behavior by giving any company my money, who in my opinion does not value their customers. I matter..... Thanks to John and Dave for their kindness and professionalism. Kindness is a revolving door. For those who have not learned that, its a shame.

Used to be my favorite place to grab a few drinks after work and do some shopping. Unfortunately, things are slowly going down hill at the bar area. They have stopped letting you taste a sample of beer before placing your order, and just today, they wont let you hold a tab. You have to ring up each individual beer. In addition, I ordered a pint of beer when I sat down, and they served 3 coffee customers before pouring my drink. There wasnt even anyone in line before I sat down.

It was a rewarding and reassuring experience, from the lady directing traffic at the door, to in-store staff offering help, to the checkout folks who let me bag my own ( one less person touching groceries! ).We appreciate the changing government ( and Im guessing also Whole Foods HQs ) guidance must have you jumping through hoops, and we wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all your extra effort during these troubling times. While I avoid leaving my house except for food and fresh air, I felt comfortable visiting your store.
