Thanks for great service.
Coming Street Grocery on Coming Street is a conviently located corner grocery store that has all of the essential items that you need when you need them the most. It is very easy to get in and out with exactly what you need when you are on the move. I have had a good experience every time I have shopped here and found what I needed at a relatively good value.
We spent the month in Charleston right down the street from here and because it was convenient to get a few small things from there we had quite a few occasions stopping by. The two men that work there are the most miserable unhappy people of all time. Tried brightening their days multiple times and were even more miserable than the time before. NEVER GO HERE.
Please spend your money anywhere else but here. The workers are so unbelievably miserable and rude. I’d rather walk another half mile than give them any more money
Not a grocery store... horrible business. Don’t go.
Coming street grocery will always be my first choice when it comes to snacks and alcohol in the greater cannonborough area. The price is fair (its downtown what do you expect) and the service is as good as a bodega can get. They will ID you, so underage people should visit somewhere else.
These guys are killing it night and day. Open late on weekends and early in the morning, friendly service no matter the hour. Wide range of products, and fair prices. Keep up the good work fellas
So this is the only place where you can purchase beer & wine in Charleston on a Friday night after 7pm. It appears liquor stores close early in this town. Regardless, this is a small convenience store with moderately above average prices, but in a town where everything closes early this place may be your salvation.
Prices arent terrible, but there is definitely a bit of a price gouge here, above even the listed prices. Many prices arent listed, and I was charged about 55% more than what the pre-sales tax total would have been according to the posted price for the beer I selected. I asked the cashier/owner about the mark-up but he didnt say anything, pretending he didnt understand what I was talking about. It was late, and I wasnt going to walk a mile to another convenience store, so I paid for the beer, but this is something people should be aware of. Would not recommend if other nearby convenience stores are still open.
Best corner store in CHS 💚
Terrible service. the indian guy who worked late at night is full of hatred against his own race. i recommend avoiding this place.
The big bald headed middle eastern guy is rude, abrasive and unpleasant. I used to go in every week but I dont anymore.
Decent selection of merchandise packed into this shop. They accept credit/debit cards and wont charge a fee for total over $5.
Three numbness three dollar. Nothing more to say. At least I got limes.
