The entire Trek team is awesome. They are always courteous and helpful. I’ve purchased two Trek bicycles with them. I do most of the maintenance myself but use only them for jobs outside my skill level. I highly recommend them for both sales and service. Thank you Team.

The people in this store are absolutely amazing. Doesnt matter who serves you: Brad, Pat or Kevin. Its like these guys are cloned - all provide outstanding and professional service. Purchased a new Trek one month ago. Pat sold me the bike and he was very patient explaining different bikes and options. Over the next couple weeks when I called Brad was very polite offering suggestions to take care of the bike. Finally, Kevin did a 30 day free inspection - tune-up on the bike. Had an issue with the chain and he was able to replace it under the Trek warranty. If you want an awesome bike and terrific service then this shop is for you - why waste your time with the rest! These guys are awesome! Helped me to diagnose what should be repaired on my bike before my first long bike camping tour and to form a battle plan for other repairs/maintenance that should be done in the future. The tune up only took one day, which I was surprised by. The guys were nice and fun as well!

Brad & Trek did great job repairing an older Schwinn bike. They noted a wobble in chain sprocket that contributed to popping chain. Another grumpy bike store fixed a flat tire & chain prior & I had to go back there for the same tire. I wasnt going back for second time for chain problem they should have caught. Brad tightened bearings & it is working great. Nice to find a store that looks at issues critically & recommends a REAL solution to the problem. Great service. Thanks.

I never make reviews, but I felt as if this place deserved it. Amazing staff that let’s you know what’s the best deal for your buck! Even though they are a Trek store, they gave honest, unbiased views on everything, and even though I am a beginner, they didn’t stare down at me like some shops. They even stayed 30 minutes after closing time to help me choose what I wanted. Great staff, great apparel (a bit expensive, but worth the money), and great information!

Since we are not allowed to enter due to social distancing in times of COVID, This review is customer service based.Having ridden Trek since the days of Gary Fischer, I had hoped my quest would have ended here.I called the store looking for a bicycle. I received an automated message prompting me to await a call back etc regarding my query. Within 10 minutes I received a phone call and was greeted with polite customer service and knowledgeable staff member. After almost 15 minutes of talking and trying to accommodate me, it was decided that there was no bike in their stock that would fit my needs. This was after thorough research in store and online by the staff member.Although I did not purchase a bicycle from this company, their customer service was stellar. In my opinion, anyone posting the contrary during these times is simply experiencing sour grapes and missing their former entitlement.

Great Shop!!I dont ever write reviews, but felt the need after visiting this store last Saturday. I took my bike (not a Trek) in to have them look at what another bike shop had messed up! I fully expected to have to leave the bike and pick it up sometime later. The minute I walked in I was greeted and told they would be with me shortly, they were busy. While standing there waiting the person behind the counter (later found out this was Dan) started asking me questions about my bike as he was steadily working on another one.After finishing with the other customers Dan got my bike and took it to the back and started working on it. Each time he started doing something or found something with the bike he called me back and showed me what it was and told me what he was going to do. Dan and his staff made a lot of adjustments to the bike before we (as he had me ride it each time after he did)were both satisfied with the results.I left with my bike repaired, which is not what I expected. The price was very reasonable and the service was outstanding. You have definitely got a new customer who highly recommends this shop!!Thanks,Mike

Im giving 2 stars for benefit of the doubt but the way Dan handled our conversation on the phone yesterday was poor. Ill gladly speak with the owner if hed like to call me. Heres a hint: Instead of, um were closed. Go order a bike online and come pick it up. How about this, Hey sir this is Dan from Trek and I am so sorry but we are still social distancing so all we can offer you is the opportunity to go to our website and order from there. I can give you any assistance you need but we still as of today are not allowing people into the showroom We drove over an hour from Younges Island to buy 2 bikes yesterday since the Mountain Bike Park down the road has finally opened. I chose Trek because the Atlanta police department uses them and I have discussed at length with several officers their opinions (I work in Atlanta). I never thought customer service would kill the deal but it did. Thanks Dan!

When your website says you are open… be open.When you put a sign on your door that says you are open… be open.I understand some people are being cautious with Covid, but inform your potential customers the truth-not false information about being open when you clearly are not.Taking my $2,000 somewhere else…RE: ResponseYour store was not clearly opened as per your website. Went to this Trek Store for a second time looking for a hard to find size/type bike. They were extremely busy, but I had the good fortune of of being greeted by Tony. After not finding (again) what I was looking for Tony checked their stock and rolled out the bike I had been searching for. After a few test rides on 2 bikes in VERY different price ranges Tony gave me his honest opinion and I walked out with the right bike at the right price. No pressure, honest conversation and excellent service. Awesome! Thanks!

Came in town from Atlanta, GA for the Swamp Fox Gravel Fondo gravel race late Friday afternoon. Stopped by the store for them to check on my rear tire losing air. The guys put my bike in the stand immediately and got down to business. Installed a new valve core and I was on my way. Great service and super friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work guys!

Great selection of bicycles, helmets, water bottles, and all other gear you could possibly need. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff that are more concerned with getting you what you need than pushing a product on you. Incredible repair shop with excellent technicians. Definitely a bike place you can trust! And the quality of Trek bicycles has always been top of the line. I bought an SL1000 in 2007 and had ZERO issues with it since! I came here to talk about upgrading and I left with tons of knowledge about bicycles I did not even know existed! I’ll definitely be a life time customer with these guys for as long as I’m in the area.

Probably the best customer service I have experienced in the last 5-10 years. Went in for new shoes and the staff went out of their way to help me. In a time where the cheapest price usually drives sales, their customer service is why I would go back....and they had a military discount!

Not attentive. Long wait to get into the building even though there was no one in the building shopping. Bad hygiene protocol, a sink works better than a plastic tub.

I am not in the habit of writing reviews but exceptional service needs to be recognized. I live about 3 miles away & decided to ride my bike to their shop in order to have my kickstand fixed. It required an Allen wrench which I did not have the proper size for. On the way there I developed a flat tire. Upon entering the store, Kyle C. immediately assisted me and took the bike to their repair area. He determined that the tire tube would not hold air and explained fully the fix and cost. Another employee came over to change the tube while Kyle tightened the kickstand, a definite team effort. While the tube (a big split in the seam) was being replaced, Kyle detailed their group ride program. We also discussed bicycle safety and he showed me a great assortment of lightweight, colorful, and well made helmets. As I walked around one could not help notice how well the store was stocked for any bicycle related issue. The total repair time was about 20 minutes on a SUNDAY afternoon! This was my first visit to the TREK store but based on the courteous & professional service I received, definitely not my last. Thanks for your great help.

Working with this store has been a fantastic experience. I have always loved Trek bikes and they have a great selection. Dan and Brad helped me find the perfect bikes for me and my fiancee. They made the process so easy for me and went above and beyond to help us! We will definitely be back for some accessories soon and would recommend this shop to everyone!

Had an amazing experience at this store. Oz helped me to select a wonderful new bike (Roscoe, which is totally amazing and highly recommended if you want to have some real fun out on the trail). Oz was very helpful and attentive. Very knowledgeable too. Both Oz and Dan stayed after hours to convert tires to tubeless. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. This is my new favorite shop and hands down the best bike shop I have been in in the Charleston area.

So glad to have found TREK West Ashley and the staff .. I am an old lady who wanted to start riding a bike again. I was outfitted with the perfect bike for me at a reasonable cost for the high quality machine I purchased. I am so pleased to be part of the TREK stores in West Ashley. I enjoy smaller, non-brand specific local bike shop(LBS) experiences more. Its not that anything is wrong with the shop or people but it just feels kinda corporate in there instead of a gritty bike shop where the techs/staff are super crazy bike nuts and love to chat you up vs. worrying about sales numbers for accessories, etc. Overall, a good enough experience but different.

Dan Kelley the store manager was great again! Traded in kids bikes without an issue and upgraded to the newer, larger model. These guys are the experts at bike and bike repairs. The West Ashley store was clean, organized, more efficient, and more spacious than the one in Mt Pleasant. Will return.

Just had the team rebuild my 2011 Trek Rumblefish 29r full suspension. I am ecstatic over the results, it is better than a new bike. Front and rear shocks rebuilt, all frame bearings replaced, converted from 3x10 to 1x11 crank and cassette gear sets, new improved brakes. Handling is the best its ever been and I love the 1x shifting.

We had a great initial experience, and found a bike my wife loved, so we decided to buy.The store didnt have the color my wife wanted, so it had to be ordered. We were told wed have it by the end of the week (ordered on a weekend). On Thursday, they told us it was late on delivery, and would be ready mid-week next week.A week goes by with no word. We have to call several times to learn its going to be another week late. Hopefully tomorrow we will get the bike...They did offer to give us the new sale price for the bike, $50 off. Its something.

These guys are a class act.I have a Cannondale that is around 18 years old that was a fairly pricey bike at the time. It stopped shifting properly a recently, so I brought it in to them. I met Dan at the counter who put the bike on a rack and went through everything he would recommend, without trying to just replace everything on the bike. It has some good quality running gear that was still serviceable, but did need mainly gears, a chain and adjustment/lube. I also wanted to raise the handlebars, so all new cables. Dan walked me through everything and we both agreed the bike was nice enough quality to invest in vs buying new.Brad, one of their bike techs, called me 2 days later while he was working on the bike to let me know how it was going and that it would be ready that day. (nice to be informed). The final bill came to within $10 of the original estimate.Heres the important part:THIS BIKE NOW LOOKS AND RIDES LIKE BRAND NEW.Im very excited to put some miles on my new ol Cannondale!!Thanks guys!

Im an old geezer with bad knees trying to get back into the biking thing to add a little cardio in my life. I decided Id purchase an e-bike (bought it online; wasnt a Trek) and wanted to get it checked out/adjusted before hitting the road. Checked the local bike shop reviews (specifically shops that had experience with e-bikes) and decided to give these guys a call. They were very receptive to my needs over the phone so I decided Id give them a shot. Brought my bike in and was met by Dan (shop manager). Super nice guy who knows his stuff! Left the bike and picked it up the next day. Rides like a dream and I feel a lot better knowing a professional had just given it a thorough once over! If youre looking to purchase a new bike, in need of service or just need advice, Id put this shop on the top of your list!

This is a Great shop! I was on a trip to SC in the summer and broke a crank arm. Even though they didnt have a replacement in stock, they saved my vacation by helping me get in touch with a local rider who had the part! I ended up buying a new kit too since their selection of clothing was really great.

This shop came through for me big time! I wound up requiring a WTB wheel warranty repair but found it difficult to find a reliable bike shop to build it for me closer to where I live.A little bit of a drive from Summerville but totally worth it! The shop worked directly with WTB to agree on things like labor and assembly specs for my wheel. From contacting WTB to having the Trek store build my wheel and have it in hand took about a week in total.I could not have been happier with the service that this store provided. They were incredibly helpful, immensely knowledgeable, and on point in all respects.

The best staff and very helpful. Highly recommended to anyone looking for help with buying a bicycle or needing information about riding.

Great, knowledgeable, and friendly staff when walk in the door. Brought in a Specialized mountain bike for routine tune up, and had it back within 24 hours riding pristine.

They fixed my bike for free and put air inmy tires at no charge either. Service was outstanding and I will bring ny other bike there to be fixed.

My bicycle was in an accident. My front tire blew. They did a complete analysis to see if everything was working and then replaced my tires while I waited and lubed the chains.
