I knew before I even bought my BMW that this would be my place… I had called around to several local indy shops to ask what to look for when shopping for a used X3, and Charles Williams (the owner of Ultimate Autowerks) spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me discussing several things to keep an eye out for. I knew right then and there that he truly cares about his customers and their cars. And ever since 2018 when I purchased the vehicle, this has been the exact same experience each time I take my car there. Both Dell and Debbie (at the front) are top notch as well and treat me like family each time I walk in the doors. If you are contemplating a new location to service your Bimmer… look no further! Autoworks gets the job done. Ive never had an issue since I started taking my car there. All the associates are very nice and when you walk in, there ready to help. As for service. Every job that was done to fix my car was done on time and Ive never had any issues after. There very honest and the prices arent bad either compared to BMW. I actually dont take my car anywhere else since I started going there.

UA makes owning a BMW cost effective. German cars tend to cost more to repair. I trust that they will be honest about the work that needs to be done and charge me a fair price for the work. The staff is awesome and I enjoy talking with them when I drop in for service. Nobody touches my BMWs except UA.

I’ve been bringing my 335i here ever since my dealers warranty expired. Matt and Charles are definitely experts when it comes to BMW issues and have taken great care of me and my BMWs for the past several years. If it “needs” to be done, they will tell you — and give you an honest estimate. They don’t do the “sell you a repair you don’t really need” game and that is one of my foremost requirements for anyone who works on my vehicles! Before they opened, I was taking my previous BMWs to repair shops/dealers that were overpriced, and I could never really be sure I wasn’t getting a few “extra repairs” that I didn’t really need, and appointments were rarely convenient for my schedule. It is really nice to have such a convenient and dependable shop to take care of my vehicle. If it’s an urgent repair, Dell can always find a timely solution to keep me on the road. I have referred several friends here and they have told me they feel the same as me after their first repair visit.

If you want a trustworthy and good BMW mechanic, these guys are the way to go. I went to exclusively bimmers in Mt. Pleasant before I came to here, and let me just say, Ultimate Autowerks is much better. They will be completely honest about what you need done and do the job for cheaper than exclusively bimmers. Dale is a great guy too! Hes the main person I talk to.

We have a low mileage 2013 328 . I rely on Ultimate to notify when maintenance services are due. They perform the needed services at a reasonable price with quick service and NO upselling of unneeded services.

This store comes highly recommended from a friend. I plan to drive my car all the way from NYC for repairs. My friend could not fix his BMW and was told he needed to get rid of it. He hauled it down to this shop from Columbia SC and they fixed it.

I went to this location for a quote, I havent had the chance to actually follow through, cause I have been extremely busy. But these people know their stuff, are very professional and customer-service oriented. My advice to you: if you own a BMW do not bother with other locations, just take your car to this place and have them take care of you.

Dell and his team are awesome. My only suggestion is to add a changing table for babies for families. I highly recommend them. Weve used Ultimate for my 335i for tuning and more and also our X6.

Great experience all in all. Was in a real pickle when my 02 745i stalled out on me at the intersection of Main Rd. and Hwy 17. I had no clue as to how to get the electronic park into the Neutral position. Luckily a good sumaritan was able to get Matt on the phone (at around 10 pm mind you) and walk me through the steps to put the vehicle in neutral manually . They were able to fix my vehicle in time to get me home for the holidays. Greatly appreciate their excellent service.

From the receptionist to driving away the experience is excellent. Everyone is friendly, courteous, helpful and best of all knowledgeable. I know I can count on Matt to know whats wrong and how to fix it. It is great having a good mechanic and not having to go to the dealer ($$$$$$$$). Great bunch of people. When I was ready to buy an X5 I went to these guys for advice. Again nothing but helpful. The gave me things to look for and a general history of their experiences with this model X5.

They do wonderful quick work. I went in to have my battery replaced with only a few min call ahead. They finished the job extremely fast and the price of the entire job was only a few dollars more than what the battery would cost at an auto parts store. They also made sure that my three year old daughter was entertained by allowing her to control the tv in their waiting area. I will never go anywhere else.

They had my car for 2 months and could not fix it. All they did was put new parts on and charge me with out resolving the problem. Brought my car to anther shop and found out that Ultimate Autowerks left bare wires hanging under the car. I will never let these guys ever touch one of my cars again

Unlike other alternatives to indy shops they actually care about you as a customer and dont charge an arm and leg for service superior to anyone around. Best customer service/care you will find. I drive past at least 5 indy shops to take our M3 to them. If you want best price/service/with friendly down home atmosphere without the attitude look no further!

Won Me OverI recently relocated to Charleston. Ive always used indy Bimmer shops for the care and feeding of my X5. I didnt think Id ever find a shop and team of mechanics as good as my last. I was finally able to have my car serviced by Autowerks. All I can say is wow. From their online appointment system, through to checkout, this shop is one big easy button. Dell is straightforward and honest. The service was quick and thorough. I went in for a quick oil change and look over, and left with a diagnosis and roadmap for repairs that works for my schedule. Its clear that their business model leans heavily on repeat and word of mouth customers. They nail it. Ill be retuning for some gasket work, and will post further. But so far, this is by far the best indy Bimmer shop Ive used--and Ive used 3 in the southeast. Very impressed.

Awesome place to have your bimmer worked on. These guys do a great job, are honest, and their prices are out of this world. To give you an example, my wife had to get a battery replaced and Rick Hendricks wanted >$400 for it installed. UA only wanted $80 for the battery which is a night and day difference if you ask me. I also have a BMW and the 2 of us take our cars to UA any time we need regular maintenance done or any other kind of other work done as well.

These guys literally saved me when I was in a bind over my car. Had a problem with my ECU that was a very strange, never seen problem. I was turned away from the Hendrick BMW dealership telling me they were doing me a favor looking at my car and there was nothing wrong with it. Brought it (2008 135i) down the road to these guys at UA and they helped me get the problem fixed in a single day.I would highly reccomend this business to anyone around... if your car is out of warranty I wouldnt even dare take it to the dealership. The guys here will not overcharge you for things that dont need to be fixed and wont give you what I like to call the dealership runaround.Lastly, I just wanted to mention that when I was having this problem with my car, one of the shop techs (Andrew) offered to bring his equipment with him and ride with me to my cars new owner to help explain and show what we worked on and how it was fixed. Service like that is hard to find these days. Thanks guys!!
