Took my son’s car in for bodywork after a rear-end collision. No regrets! The staff is professional, with excellent communication to us as the work took place. The bodywork is beautiful!! Car looks brand new where work was done, and it was returned to us, by far, cleaner than it was left! I would highly recommend CarStar to anyone. I hope we don’t need them again, but if we have a need in the future, I will not hesitate to call them!

This was by far the most thorough collision repair establishments I have ever had the privilege of using. Mark and his guys exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond, making an insurance repair quick and painless, returning the car to me much cleaner than when I gave it to them, which I was not expecting.

Anytime we have had a need for bodywork we have come here - they’ve got a great drop off scheduling system and if an adjuster is needed to review accident damage they’re knowledgeable and available here too. Work progress is kept up with and we were notified regularly on progress and received our car back looking great!

Everyone at CARSTAR CarSmart in Chapel Hill was friendly and professional. I was rear-ended and they made the back of my car look brand new, plus they cleaned and washed my car before it was returned to me. No one likes to have to deal with the car repair process, but they made the actual repair aspect smooth. I would definitely recommend them!

They were very careful and thorough with my repairs. They also handled the majority of interactions with the insurance company. The repairs took longer than I expected and longer than they planned, but it looks like that was due in some part to waiting on the insurance people and the fact that they discovered more damage as they were making repairs. However, they kept me updated about the progress throughout the process.

Upon arrival for my estimate i was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff, The entire team was available to help me. The front office explained the estimate, time frame, repair and billing process to me.Later when I dropped off the car they updated me again and advised me of the time frame necessary to complete all of the the work.While the car was in the shop I received email updates on the progress.Somehow they finished three days earlier than I expected.Their work was flawless and complete. In addition, they cleaned the exterior and interior of my car. Quite a surprise!I am thoroughly pleased with the total experience.Great work done by great people. A top rate automobile facility.

My daughter’s car was towed to carstar car smart, I’m 2 hours away from there. They kept me informed through the whole process of her car being repaired. Great Body Shop, Great Customer Service.Due to a deer committing suicide by leaping in front of my Tahoe, I was forced to take her into the body shop. While she took the deer in the teeth like a champ, there was significant damage ($6k), but she was able to drive to the body shop without a limp. A week and a few days later she looks as good as she did rolling off the lot.The deer picked the perfect time to leap in front of our vehicle, since we were in the middle of a move across town. Using our vehicle for said move, as well as the move in general and then the deer, I was not keeping the interior or exterior as clean as I typically do. When I picked up my car, the interior was completely vacuumed, and cleaned. I expected the exterior to be washed but not the interior, great job 👏👏

It has taken me way too long to leave this review as I’ve been moving, but I was BEYOND impressed with my treatment and the services I received at CARSTAR. First off, the customer service of this place was phenomenal, from the moment I stepped in the door I was attended to, given every single detail and all while maintaining COVID procedures. Mikayla was beyond awesome with getting me squared away and the receptionists went to every length, even reserving the rental through my insurance and scheduling a pickup that would be suitable for my needs. One tiny mishap happened to where Enterprise was unable to pick me up due to staffing, the manager of the CARSTAR location stepped in and personally drove me to the enterprise location so that I could pick up my rental. What other places would do that for you?! I can’t thank you all enough for a wonderful experience even if it happened because of a car accident, my car also looks outstanding, you can’t even tell I had any damage and they just did a great job. They even vacuumed my car for me and washed it, I got in there feeling like I just drove off with a new car. Thank you so much for consistently keeping me updated through the entire process and making this experience so much better than I expected it to be, I’m glad businesses like you exist with employees that truly care about a customers experience. Everyone I met at the store was a delight to speak with. I ran my car into a pole and put a dent in my bumper. Other shops I went to all told me I needed a new bumper and quoted me upwards of $1k. Jason told me he could clean it up and reattach it for under $100 and ended up doing it at no cost! I can hardly even tell the difference! I couldnt be more grateful and highly highly recommend these guys.

My husband’s car was damaged after he hit an animal that darted across the road. USAA recommended we use CARSTAR. I want to start off by saying that Makayla and Ivy were WONDERFUL! They provided excellent customer service and provided us many updates throughout the process. The work done on my husbands car was great and finished in a very timely manner. We will absolutely use them again in the future (though, prefer we don’t ever have to!)

Great experience. They work directly with the insurance company and have arrangements with Enterprise Rental. Received a quick estimate which they got approved with my insurance. Insurance arranged the car. Dropped it off on Tuesday morning and had it back at the end of the day on Thursday. Both CARSTAR and Enterprise did a great job checking in with me during that period to insure I felt comfortable with the work and services.

We dont ordinarily anticipate that having body work done on a car will be a pleasant experience, but CARSTAR made this time very pleasant. The car came back shining like new, the job done to perfection. And that was not all. Because of Covid-19 sheltering-in-place instructions, this owner was unable to deliver and pick up his own automobile. CARSTAR staff came for it and brought it back and arranged for a state car inspection while it was in their care, giving a friendly helping hand. Thanks, CARSTAR!

Had to have a light replaced. They were extremely nice in scheduling, courteous in person, and quick in service. Im a little confused why a service that took less than 20 minutes was charged 1.5 in labor, but the total cost was very reasonable for the work done.
