I work at a landscape company where, occasionally, our crews have had a rock break a window. D and L always works with us and gets the windows fixed fast and makes it easy on the homeowner as well as us! We love the service they provide and will continue to use them for our glass needs!

I was really looking forward to getting a shower door purchased and installed in my new bath. I had someone from D And L come out and measure but after 3 weeks never heard back. When I called the office and spoke to the owner he stated my estimate was filed away due to me not responding. He stated they left a message for me but my voicemail was full. I don’t see any calls from them and you would think they would call at least a couple of times to get the ball rolling. After speaking with the owner he is refusing my business due to my “negative attitude on the phone .” The only attitude I had was why I hadn’t heard from them and was still hoping to do business. He kept negating and said he will not do business. This is sad considering I was very excited to get this door done and they came highly referred. No one was upset I just wanted to get this door ordered and the customer service i received was shockingly negative to say the Least. They must be doing really well to turn customers away. So surprised and hope no one else has this same experience.

They are FANTASTIC!!! I had glass put in my custom cabinet doors. They got it done faster than promised, and I felt they are very reasonably priced. I will be going back for future projects.

Dennis and his crew are top notch. This place is my go to place with any difficult projects at home.

When our handyman couldn’t install our new glass shower door we called around to find someone who could. Most told us they wouldn’t install someone else’s product, but Chandler Glass said they would do it.They were on time, courteous, professional and did an excellent job with the install. They even cleaned up after themselves and made sure all remnants of the packaging were taken away and the glass was spotless when they left. Highly recommend!

**UPDATED** The owner called, apologized for the actions of their employees and promised this issue would be taken care of immediately. I updated my rating to reflect the owners action.**One good experience and one bad experience.The good - I needed replacement glass for my fireplace. They cut 2 pieces from the template I brought. Fit perfectly. Price was okay. Seems like they just made up a price while I was there. Nobody really knew what to charge. But its okay.Bad experience - needed glass for a new shower stall. A new install so I needed ideas on what they offered. One of the 2 guys kept wanting to go outside to look at samples of what he had in the truck. He then said he was going outside to smoke! His recommendation - go old school with a metal trim around the glass even though I told him no trim. The other guy was very disrespectful to a tile guy installing tile where the glass would go. And I mean VERY DISRESPECTFUL! I told them to leave.

Super excited by the price of them replacing my back slider! Glass looked great, and then the door wouldnt hardly slide anymore. It was so tough! Called and they had someone come out to fix it, which I did pay for and they did a great job fixing it, but they broke my screen door and didnt tell me. Instead, he says.. yeah the screen door is old so I left it off.(Cant be that old, the house isnt that old) In my head I thought, okay I will just have the hubby pop it back on when he gets home because I dont want any issues, turns out THEY BROKE IT AND LEANED IT UP AGAINST MY HOUSE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WASNT. Two stars only because I liked the price of the back door the first time, the rest, ughh. Not even worth calling and fighting over the screen door.

Dennis, the owner, went above and beyond. When problems developed with the glass supplier, Dennis called and personally made visits to that company. His staff andhe kept me informed of the issues with that manufacturer. Even thought the problems werent DandLs fault, I was given a discount which came out of their profit. I will refer all my friends and family to this highly professional, friendly company!!!

D & L Chandler Glassworks is TERRIFIC! I went in with a very minor glass job (replace 2 opaque light lenses - old stair lighting housing) and they took care of my problem right away. They knew what to do and did it within 15 minutes for $30 cheaper than another glass place in Chandler. They custom cut the glass inserts and painted one side white for opacity. Glad I found them! I will definitely come back!

If you always go to the box stores you never realize that there are some really good places to get glass and mirrors and shower enclosures. This place has some very nice shower enclosures, very high-end, for a low price and a very small price to install them p. Very reasonable. It kind of sucks that they have to put up with the construction out front but once the city of Gambler finishes, its going to be a beautiful Street and it will be all worth the trouble we all have to put up with. I usually go down the alley and into the back of this place just to avoid the construction for now. They actually offer more kinds of glass than you even knew existed with the different edges and bevels and thicknesses and clarities

If you’re looking for a quick turn-around on a small job, consider carefully about using them. Customer Service also seems to be a challenge - customer interaction, scheduling the work in a timely manner (a day to get an estimate, missed completion date by a week), follow-up communication (personally had to follow up for estimate, progress on work and completion, post work Q/A (broken glass not removed completely. Job did get completed. Large jobs may be their bread and butter, small ones don’t seem to be.

Worst customer service and unprofessional company. I do not recommend. I should say at least with the Administration / Estimating office staff. Never got to see what the production staff was capable of doing. Photos on their website look nice and that is what the one star is for. I was able to get someone out to take measurements but for weeks no one called us back with an estimate. Have two other quotes and we will be selecting from one of them.

We needed a piece of stained glass for a lamp. This business assisted in getting the lamp from the car into the shop, cutting & installing the glass, then taking the lamp back to the car, all for no charge! They said a job is done for no charge sometimes. Needless to say we were both surprised & pleased. We are proud to recommend this business.

Nice ladies in the office. This a real old fashioned glass and window business. A fair price for what I needed and quick work of job done for me.

I have used D&L in the past and they did a fine job on some glass shelves and a glass insert. Unfortunately this time they completely lost the thread. They came to my house on Jan 21 to measure for a new shower door and windows for the whole house. I have never even been able to get an estimate out of them. They told me it would take several weeks just to order the shower door, Valley Glass measured, ordered and installed it within one week. AND saw a scratch I could never see that was not to their satisfaction and ordered a replacement when I said it was not necessary. I am now working on replacing all of my windows with Valley Glass

I needed a piece of glass 1/4 thick for a table my wife sat on and broke, ordered it from them after hours and they stayed open for my order, and had it done the next day, they were really friendly and professional.

When you get quote to replace a house window, be sure to get documented exactly what is being replaced with that quote. Sounds obvious, I know, but found out after fact that the glazing beads (outside trim/seal around house window) were not included. Calling it a misunderstanding (I recall them saying they were included because it was pointed out mine were in such bad condition - cracked & broken on all 4 sides - while they have a different recollection). This is my first house window replacement so Ill chalk it up to being a rookie. Good thing is, they are stepping up and replacing them. I do believe this is a good company to do biz with... product and workmanship is good otherwise.

Poor customer service. Seemed good when we visited the shop but did not set up measurement appointment as promised and gave no explanation.

Took a broken window pane in and within 10 minutes walked out with a perfect new piece of glass installed.

These folks are the worst. If you do business with them expect to have to call constantly to babysit them. They move at a snail’s pass to even provide a very simple estimate and don’t seem to understand what communication is or even have any drive to actually complete a transaction. They’re completely ridiculous.

Great service and really nice people. Broke a glass shelve in my fridge and they got the tempered glass replaced exactly right in a couple days for a reasonable price!
