What a great place to shop for granite or other products they have. The showroom is filled with slabs of natural stone and other products. The most complete inventory we have seen. We found at least eight different slabs of Granite. It was difficult to choose, and they had it in inventory. The people working in the showroom are very helpful and we appreciate that. It took us a while but we did make a decision and are very satisfied with Monterrey Tile and recommend that you shop their warehouse before you make a decision to buy.

Nate in the granite slab section is super nice, helpful & knowledge. He helped us with viewing a slab in the single piece section. Found a really beautiful one, too! Been a granite customer there for years, and they are always so nice. They have a great selection & fair prices.

Didnt used to need appointments but now you do. Not a huge selection of granite but massive selection of tile and pavers.

I think they are very pricey unless you are working with a contractor that has an account with them. But they wont tell you how much discount the contractors get. And they charge for samples, which I find astonishing. Havent paid for a sample EVER, especially when you are considering a $10,000 shell stone paver purchase.

Outstanding experience! If you have a choice in where to go to pick your granite slab, go here. We went to a competitor first and were not impressed: loud, dangerous, and lack of service. A difference like day and night at Monterrey: very attentive, personalized service in a relaxed atmosphere. We dealt with both Jamie and Nathan, and both were simply fabulous. Happy customers!!

I purchased ~1800 sq ft of the ODENSE - NATURAL tile planks from Monterrey Tile and had them installed by a contractor with 27 years of experience before we noticed the tiles received were warped. The tiles would lay flat during installation but curled up as the mortar was drying. Monterrey Tile was contacted about the issue and they noticed the defect as well. They replaced the remaining tiles that had yet to be laid with ones from a different lot and they installed great. That still left me with ~1600 sq ft of installed tile that looks terrible. Monterrey Tile refuses to lift a finger except provide more tile. They refuse to provide any assistance or compensation with removing and replacing the 1600 sq ft of installed warped tile, even after I offered to pay for half of it. Be cautious doing business with a company that doesnt stand behind their product.

We had a great experience at their granite showroom! We found the slab we wanted fairly quickly, a team member assisted us with finding two slabs that matched, and we were out the door in less than an hour! Thanks so much for the help.

Great selection of tile. I have always found staff to be knowledgeable and helpful with no hard press for sales. They also seem to have reasonable pricing for good quality.

BEWARE of the “restocking fee” of 25% on returned merchandise! Shop at another retailer who appreciates your business without penalizing you.I purchased $900 worth of stacked stone here after consulting with two long-term employees about how much product I would need for my job based on the measurements I provided. I verified with both employees that I would be able to return any excess material with no problems and was assured this was the case. As such, and because a completely accurate product amount was difficult to determine from it’s irregular shape, I purposely purchased extra. I bought 123 pieces, and was returning 20.While waiting outdoors in the lot to have the product removed from my car (there were customers in the small purchasing lobby not wearing masks and I was uncomfortable), Doug Z, who identified himself as the frontline manager, took care of my refund paperwork indoors.When Doug brought the paperwork outside and I noticed the 25% restocking fee and challenged him about it because I had been told by two employees that there were no restrictions on returns, his excuse was COVID and his challenge to keep employees. I said the two employees who’d helped me were experienced and not new, and the restocking fee needed to be refunded. Then he said that since the transaction had already been processed, he couldn’t adjust it. He assured me he would discuss this issue with the employee who performed the sales transaction and call me back.I’ve heard nothing.Yes, on the back of the receipt there is mention that “approved returned materials are subject to a 25% restocking fee” among the full page of text. However, two employees told me otherwise. Plus, I’d returned product to their Baseline location previously with no fees.Monterrey Tile charges a 3 1/2% “Energy Fee” on every transaction. Now this 25% “Restocking Fee”? Home improvement businesses are enjoying the busiest boom from COVID. Must this company nickel and dime it’s customers and leave them feeling poorly about the experience?

Best staff in the flooring business. These guys and gals are always willing to assist. The owner Ed is the most humbling person youd ever have the pleasure of knowing. Fernando, Luis and Doug are the go to guys for the Ray Rd store. Very knowledgeable and if they are unfamiliar with a product they fake it pretty darn good.

I got my travertine from Monterrey Tile Company, and after a couple of months, some of the tiles were starting to erode. Probably just a bad batch of stone. They came out promptly, evaluated the situation, and replaced the bad stones, no questions asked. Nice work Monterrey!! thank you!!!

Monterey Tile sold us tile (through ProSource) that is manufactured by Landmark Ceramics. Neither they or the manufacturer are willing to replace my defective tile.Landmark Ceramics is totally fighting against being responsible for selling us defective tile. I have had two inspectors confirm it is defective.Their newest excuse - THEY MADE NO WARRANTY TO THE QUALITY OF THE TILE THEY SOLD!We are in a law suit that has already cost me almost 9G, and it looks like we will be going to trial.Seriously? Knowing that they dont stand behind their tile, would you want to buy from them?

I thought Google only let us rate restaurants lol. Well this is the primary place we go for materials. They are bound to have 90% of all the materials needed. When they are busy, they surprise us with their multi-tasking. Taking more than 1 order a trip. I forgot the name of a specific fellow but he can answer most of the questions you ask him regarding tile. Like if the concrete is cracked and you dont know what to do. He will tell you varies options. Had no major problems here. Some waiting (logical) but great service!

Very helpful and knowledgeable! Went there 3 separate times to pick out granite countertops. Each time they were friendly, professional, and spent time helping us pick out what looked good with the sample tiles we brought in. Would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I would like to express our thanks to the manager on duty who brought our order to our home in Florence. We were at your store on a Saturday and the material we selected was not available to pick up that day. Since it was such a long drive from our home to your store the MOD volunteered to bring the material to us when it in. She told us she lived in the area and it would not be an issue to drop if off. She called us when our material came in and schedule a time to drop the order off. She arrived on time and unloaded the boxes in our garage. We were pleased with the service we received from start to finish and will definitely recommend you to our neighbors.
