I could not recommend Curtis Orchard & Pumpkin Patch more... It has such a lovely aesthetic, more apple trees than one could count, and wonderful cinnamon donuts. I visited Curtis Orchard with my boyfriend on Halloween, and so many community members and college students were there enjoying the environment as well. After picking more apples than we knew what to do with, my boyfriend and I enjoyed some apple donuts as we walked around the Orchard some more. I was so tempted to purchase something from their little store that featured anything from honey jars to Christmas gnomes. Would definitely recommend!

First time visiting. It was VERY busy. No admission fee to enter unless you opt to pick your own pumpkins and apples. Several fun things for our granddaughter to do. She especially enjoyed the big slide, and the pony ride. It only went in a small circle but she liked the experience. Didnt eat anything there so I cant comment on that. We got a couple nice pumpkins which were reasonably priced. We will definately return and have an adult day to be able to experience other activities not easily enjoyed with a little one in tow. I recommend a visit there if youve never gone.

Really awesome place! Would totally recommend.Just wish the trees were a bit more mature/with more fruit, but maybe we just visited on a bad year. Management was able to reimburse us with some already-picked apples though 👍The Flying Monkey Cafe gives more of a truck stop vibe, but the staff was extremely nice and the rest of the place was cute 🍎

Such a nice place to make wonderful memories. Had my kids 4th birthday party there and it was amazing. Really appreciate the help they provided and making sure everything was prepared for us when we got there. Even though it rained we still had so much fun. And we werent the only ones! The place is always packed. The best fall fun for families. Hands down.

This is a great place for fall activities in Champaign. They have pick your own apples and pumpkins. The restaurant is a little small but theres plenty of outdoor seating. There are activities for kids, a small petting zoo, and a large corn maze. Their store is large and filled with baked treats and a variety of pantry items like jams, apple butter, salsas, and teas. The bathroom facilities are clean and there are port-a-potties down by the kids activities.

Kittens everywhere! Goats and ponies and chickens and corn mazes and playgrounds and tractors and inflatables! Tasty honey and jam and salsa. Great pumpkins and gourds. Cute decorations. Loads of fun for the whole family up in this place. A must see at least yearly to most locals. Highly recommend an annual visit!

A really fun outing for families, especially those with small children. Groves with many varieties of apple trees are the main attraction, supplemented by a Munchkinland playground, pony rides, goats and chickens. Theres a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and a shop selling cider and other treats. COVID protocols are enforced.

Even though there was a lot of people, we were able to find parking, being our first time there I asked around for information, the people I spoke to were very friendly and helpful, we bought tickets to pick apples which was a very interesting experience, we also bought a pie. I found some keys someone lost and took them to the office. Hopefully the owner got them.

Meh. I don’t get the hype. We stopped in our way to chicago because of the reviews of the donuts. We bought a dozen of the apple cider and a bear claw. I could barely taste apple in any of the donuts. The bear claw I ended up throwing away. I’ve had gas station bear claws with more apple. The apple cider donuts were fresh and soft but very little apple flavor and definitely no apple cider flavor. Wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t go back.

I have enjoyed going to Curtis Orchard since i was a little kid. It is still largely as i remember it being. They have outdoor activities that are the most fun for little kids, and i enjoy their theme of MGMs The Wizard of Oz. Perhaps the reason to go, however, is for the doughnuts and apple cider they sell that they make from scratch. You will find few sweet treats in central Illinois that are more tasty! One thing that i will say is that when we went in 2020, they seemed way busier than i remember them being in the past. Maybe its because we went near peak season or on a weekend, but just keep in mind that you want to get there early— both early in the season and early in the day to avoid the crowds. My one criticism of them i think has more to do with me than with them. Nonetheless, i found the items sold in the store (that werent edible) to be the usual tourist merch, which i dont remember it being that way when we came when i was a little kid. Perhaps age makes the magic fade.

Later found out they could have ate free and half the activities were not even open. We will not be back. They just took our money. We said it was our first time. 2 workers just shrugged at us when we asked for guidance on how to get places. Terrible experience. Drove over an hour to get here. One of the best places in town for fall activities, for adults and kids. Come for the apple donuts and ciders. Stay away from actually buying pumpkins here...way too expensive. Worth price for the experience. Staff has always been good. They changed owners, still in family hands, and made some changes. Further changes have been made due to C19, but they still have pick your own pumpkin, apples, and more. Doughnuts can be bought warm, and apple slushies are sold cold. This place is popular and most people wear masks. Reserving food has always been an option, and they are well equipment for pickup, and have specific parking parking for pick up and disability. Family friendly. Expect crowds, fresh food, and fast service. Items from the store changes by season. Check their website for updates.

We came here with our family that was in town visiting and we all had a great time! We went out to the pumpkin patch and came back with great pumpkins to carve. They have little red wagons to use so you dont have to carry the pumpkins the whole way, and they also have nice pre-picked pumpkins at the front if you dont want to walk all the way out to get one yourself. We didnt make it out to the orchard to pick apples, but that was an option as well. You just pay admission and get a bag to fill up. They have a kids play area, a Cafe, and a store as well. Their apple donuts and cider are AMAZING. Ive had them from other places in the area but these are my favorite. They also have local honey, bags of apples you can buy, and all kinds of trinkets, mugs, tea, decorations, etc. Something for everyone. I would definitely recommend!!
