They have changed some what carrying sports wear and better choice items.

Big Lots furniture in particular is a quarter of the cost of the big furniture stores and the quality in my opinion is almost just as good depending upon what your looking for especially if youre on a budget or have a family. One of the associates Lori from the Chambersburg location has helped us twice now with getting our furniture. Thanks to her it was a quick stress free transition and before making our way home her and another employee brought the furniture out on carts and assisted me with loading it into my pickup.

For the most part the employees are very nice. They just lack a few items that other Big Lots locations provide had to go 2 miles to Walmart.

Decent selection. Prices higher than I remember though. Found a couple good buys though.

We went to every department store in the area. Needless to say, I leave no stone unturned. With that being said, I even am particularly picky with the customer sales representative that would deal with us. I even narrow it down to the person that is how much time and consideration I take into account before making a purchase. Barbara and Johnny are by far the absolute best customer sales representatives in this entire area as I have personally taken the time to meet each and everyone of them. From start to finish, I was 100% satisfied with 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed. I refuse to work with or deal with anyone else. Barbara and Johnny are by far the best customer sales professionals in the business. To me, investing time is worth it into making every purchase in life. Barbara and Johnny were easy going, friendly, accepting, and welcoming. The model of how every customer service professional should be. Without question, Barbara and Johnny went above and beyond expectations and answered every single question, comment, and concern that I had about my purchase. We had bought a couch at Big Lots, and the people there were nice and helped us lift our couch. Even though they didnt have to.

So although I did give a great review a little while ago, my husband and I did not purchase furniture at that time. We have done the progressive leasing now twice. The first time we thought maybe we the try that, and the stuff was not good quality. So then we had to do the progressive leasing a second time to get other stuff. I would never recommend getting absolutely any furniture from big lots. Everything else is decent, but we got brand new bed sets from there, armoires, electric fireplace heaters, TV stands, a kitchen island, to kitchen tables, the square cubicle storage centers, and more. Everything that we had purchased has literally been less than a year old. and the stuff is just not good at all. At least $25,000 worth of stuff is wasted. Most of it we cant even move to the house that we just purchased. Get your shampoo, beauty supplies there, your pictures, your house the core there, but please dont waste your money on anything else. Now I have to figure out how in the world Im going to repurchase all of this stuff.

Better than you would think. Pretty decent prices for better than average stuff. Nice looking comfortable furniture. Doesnt last real long but I dont have thousands of dollars to spend.

Not a bad Big Lots.. But its always messy and takes forever to get through the checkout even with 2 or 3 cashiers.. But still overall a good big lots with alot of selections for everything your looking for..

I like to stop in Big Lots about once a month and check out what deals they have. Big Lots carries a little of everything and has a pretty good selection of reasonably priced furniture.

The store is filled with goodies..... the area its located in is very shady and even in the daytime is sketchy at best. Dont go alone or you might get jacked.

I like the hodge podge of things at big lots. Some prices are cheap but somethings are not. A lot of great things for outdoor spaces!

Big Big Lots is one of the cool stores to shop in they have anything from A to Z if Walmart doesnt have it you can count on Big Lots having it. Id rather shop there than at Walmart.

Although I love this store, today has changed my mind. I went in to purchase Quinn Daybed in flyer for $200. On Friday, price was $279.00. $80 reduction for daybed with pop-up trundle. Great price. So, furniture clerk said, none in stock. Ok. So, do I take the one apart on the floor or does someone else - no floor sample not for sale. So, no rain check, no estimate of shipment, etc. Called Hagerstown store - on hold for 6 minutes when I hung up. I had cash - mistake, big mistake. eBay is where I purchased something new and similar. Thank you furniture clerk.

Great store, clean and organized.

We were interested in some outside furniture that I neeeded my husband to come back and look at. We left our home at 8 for a 20 minute ride to get to the store. The train that travels new franklin rode stopped on the tracks and delayed us. We arrived at 8:50. The doors were locked, the employee was letting someone out and said “their clocks said 9pm.” They must not be connected to WiFi or have a cell phone. We wasted an hour driving for someone to tell us the incorrect time is on their clocks. Probably by the time we would have to get back to the store this outdoor item will be sold. They lost our business.
