Overall great experience! When it comes to anything cars, I know absolutely nothing. The guys at Mavis, especially Brian, were quick to explain everything and even show me. They are priced very fairly and it is quality work!

On Saturday Oct 23 I brought in my wifes new Subaru to have a nail in a tire pulled and patched. Picked up the car and over the course of the week the tire began to lose air again. On Sunday, while I was at work, my wife brought the car back to Mavis and the guy at the counter (same guy as my previous visit) said there was nothing he could do since the tire had been patched once, and said she needed four new tires for about $900. He didnt even bother to look at the tire.The next day I went to Quick Lane and had them pull the tire. The nail was STILL in the tire with the patch covering the head of it (pic with this review). It appeared that Mavis had not even pulled the tire off the rim, but instead patched it from the outside. Since the original problem wasnt fixed and you cant put two patches that close together this $200 tire was ruined. I went right over to Mavis - I was really mad - and spoke to Brian and showed him the tire and told him how my wife had been treated. He agreed that it was not fixed properly, that the rep should not have treated my wife as he did, and agreed to replace the tire at their expense. Brian was apologetic and very helpful through all this.Though this turned out ok and am thankful for Brians help, this should never have happened.

This is the shop in Chambersburg Pa. At first we were told by Jake who was not friendly at all and had a smart attitude that he couldn’t swap the tires on my wheels because they were custom which they were originally mounted there. We were going to leave and was stopped by Brain the shop manager who was there the first time we went which I think was around May and was asked why we were leaving. He said he wasn’t going to let that happen. He said he will get the job done and to give him time so it was done properly. I am giving five stars to Brian for taking care of us and one star to Jake for refusing to take out business. I will definitely go back but not when he is there.

These guys have been great since the first day I went to them. Their oil changes are speedy, professional, and affordable. I had to go in for a diagnostic due to a check engine light, they told me what was wrong and how to handle it, and they didnt even charge me a fee for the appointment! 10/10 would recommend.

Wow this place is a joke! Had tires mounted and balanced. Had to return twice to rebalance cause weights keep coming off now it has happened again. Going somewhere else! Then Had a tire to repair and was told they dont patch tires only plug them. What kind of tire shop is this place!! Joke I have take my work elsewhere

This place is wonderful and very nicely kept up and spotless for being a tire shop! Excellent Customer Service including both Brian and Jake who did an excellent job helping my girlfriend with an unknown tire problem. Definitely come here next time you need anything with tires at all!!

Chris at Mavis said we can do it for this amount. It was 50% less than what the dealer quoted me. 40% less than a quote from a national chain too. I drove it in and Brian looked at it and said, no problem, we can do it. Im leaving a little early today but can you bring it back on Friday? I may need to keep it all day. Dropped it off Friday morning, less than 3 hours later the phone rings, and they tell me my car is ready. Mavis now has a customer for life. Chris has solid customer service skills, credibility, and is a man of his word. Brian, the consummate automotive service professional. I cant say enough about him. Knowledgeable, professional, thorough. I never met a mechanic like him. ASE certified. Brian showed me the parts he took out and what the problem was with them. He told me I would need tires soon, and told me what tires to get when I bring it back. Brians integrity, professionalism, and knowledge will bring me back to Mavis as long as he works there. Brian should open a training program for mechanics. I highly recommend Mavis Discount Tires, but I do it because of Brian and Chris. Those guys are rock stars.

Reserved 4 tires online, mix up with the call center and my appt. Was quoted one price but wasnt the case when I came into get the tires put on. Brian I assume the manager, stepped right in, cleared up the situation and went over and above to make it right. Drove away happy and I would recommend Mavis in Chambersburg PA for your next tire purchase.

Mechanic Brian exceeded and went beyond my expectations. I went in for an oil change and he found an issue a previous mechanic had made. He fixed it out of pure kindness. Great service at this location! They knew exactly what they were talking about and the prices were also great. The dealership wanted to charge me $1000 for brakes and mavis did it for $550 and saved me $450. Excellent customer service

I had a very positive experience with these guys. They gave me a great deal and when I asked about tires for my second car they sweetened the deal. They are very fast and efficient as well as great prices. Both cars done same day and I didn’t get it to them until 1pm so very fast.

My first visit, great experience, very helpful. I had an after hours flat tire, I left the car in their parking lot and called them the following morning. Brian was outstanding in offering repair solutions and if needed he researched a suitable replacement tire for a good price. Had us fixed up and back home in an hour. They earned my future business.

My past bad experience at a Florida Mavis tires & brakes is actually what landed me at this Pennsylvania location, and let me tell you My experience here today has changed my outlook on life! Brian is simply AMAZING!!! He truly went above and beyond to correct a mistake that another store made 1000 miles away! He took the time to show me all the old parts and patiently waited for me to make some calls to get a second opinion from a friend who is more knowledgeable than I am. So I had a screw in my tire and was traveling from Florida. When I woke up at the hotel next door to the tire shop it was flat. I went over to Mavis tire. Jesse the manager greeted me at the door and asked how he could me. I explained my situation and said he would take care of it immediately. So Andrew took my car into the shop, and the tire was fixed in 20 minutes.I was on my way. Great customer service and awesome people, I recommend Mavis tires and brakes to anyone who needs tires or service for there vehicle.

I recently went to Mavis Tires and Brakes for the first time to get tires. They had really good pricing, along with knowledge techs. Normally I do my own maintenance to save money (except tires due to tools), but while I was there they discovered I had a bent backing plate on my rear left side. I actually had them go ahead and take care of that too, just because of how cheap and knowledgeable they were. Definitely will be coming backAlso Brian the tech is a cool guy. I appreciate how he’ll actually talk to you and run you through what’s going on.

We bought new tires for our VW Jetta a few months ago and we bought the warranty. My fiancé hit debris on the way home from work the other day and got slashes in 2 of the tires (both on the driver side). We went in to Mavis and they were covered under warranty! What we thought was going to cost a good bit of money only ended up costing us $28! We might have to still replace one of the rims but they were up front and explained everything to us. We have always been happy with the service that we have experienced at Mavis.

I called to inquire about pricing and the lady who answered was extremely helpful and polite. For my particular situation it was best for me to go to the shop which I did. Chris and Brian were truly awesome. They answered all my questions and concerns. Unfortunately, I didnt go with the service there because my LED 3rd brake light is special order which may take a while to arrive. I spoke to a different company which already order the light and had it waiting for me, the day I went to Mavis.I do regret not going with Mavis because I really believe I could have saved a lot of money.But we live and we learn. I will definitely go to Mavis Tires and Brakes for future issues mainly because of the excellent customer service.

They put the wrong tires on my car, as well as another customers car while we were there. Then double-charged a customer for brakes. After all was said and done, they turned their back and walked away when I expressed concerns, and offered NOTHING TO ANY OF US to compensate. Thanks for wasting my time, dont come here.Highly recommend this place! The waiting area and the shop were both exceptionally clean and the prices were unbeatable with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Came in after having tires mounted and balanced at another location for an alignment. These guys looked it over and suggested rebalancing the wheels as the technique was off and the previous residue from many balancing jobs before (that wasnt removed) added a considerable amount. They even put it on the alignment machine before just to make sure it was dead on and even printed me out a copy for peace of mind that I wasnt charged for - fantastic and honest service. I greatly appreciate all the hard work they put in and how quickly it was done as well as the friendly customer service. Will definitely be continuing to use them in the future, thank you!

They installed TPMS sensors on my Cadillac and in the process messed the programming on all the drive assist sensors on the car when I contacted them the manager assured me that it was the battery and when I arrived he said the car had issues before I owned it mine you everything worked perfectly fine before it went there. Made a appointment with the Cadillac garage they have to reprogram the ecm and is going to cost me $400. Stay away these guys have no idea what they are doing.

The only shop you need. Brian is the best, cares about the customer, knows his stuff, cares after your vehicle like its his own. Jesse is heads up and knows whats going on. Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee here for squealing brakes, heat shield rattle, oil change, tires and alignment and could not be happier. In Sept I had went to a popular car dealer in the area for an inspection just to be told my rear brakes needed replacement (which they didnt) and turned out the front ones were rusted and corroded. Im never going back to the car dealership and only giving my service to Brian and the guys at this Mavis. A++ service!

Dropped my car off at night (after they closed) when I got a flat tire, they had the tire replaced by the next morning. Called multiple times to keep me well informed on the status of my car and to discuss options, so no surprises. The people were also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

I brought my vehicle into the shop due to a slow leak in my tire. They were able to see me right away and they were very courteous. Not only did they fix the problem right away, but they checked out my brakes and gave my car a once-over to make sure there were no other issues. After taking my vehicle here to get brakes done and a brake fluid change I took my vehicle to Acura for other service and was informed that the brake fluid service was not done. I called and spoke to Chris who was very apologetic and extremely sincere and wanted to correct the issue. Jesse on the other hand was far from helpful and was not the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say. I will not be taking my vehicle here anymore. It will only go to the dealership from here on out.

While first approaching this shop staff was friendly until I’ve pointed out a mistake. Originally went to replace two front tires. Mind you all tires needed to be changed but my concern was the front two at the moment since the vehicle was being traded in. The front two tires where changed. as soon as driven off the lot steering vibration was immediately found. The staff was notified twice about the situation and the only thing they was worried about was up selling me struts and rear tires. They became rude on the last time. Took the vehicle down the street to get the tires rebalanced because that’s what I originally knew was the issue and sure enough tires UNBALANCED with paperwork. These guys couldn’t balance a tire definitely wouldn’t take my car to them for anything else.

First and last time I take any vehicles there. Took my car in for suspension issues, got strut changed and was told it needed an alignment after it being changed. After 5 hours they sent me home with a defective strut and told me to come back the next morning where they’d replace it. The next morning a different tech said it was fine but the car was given to me in way worse condition than when I first took it in (making noises it never had before) and they had me drive not only the tech but the manager to see that it was indeed their fault. The defective part was what was wrong. They changed it again and from the moment I took it in, to me driving it after a few days, nothing has changed. Seems like I never got it serviced. They also refused to do the alignment the second day after replacing the strut again saying that it “should” be fine. I wouldn’t recommend anyone take their vehicles here (MotivWorks) is way better, was just a little out of the way for me and wanted to try something new that was closer but I made the wrong choice that ended costing me $700 for a vehicle that didn’t get fixed.Edit: Had some time and got around to speaking to customer service and the Regional Manager reached out and got me in an Enterprise rental as the car got fixed again. Just got the car back and I think I have the rental for a few more days I’m not sure yet but the car seems to have finally gotten fixed to what I originally took it in for. I will update again when the regional manager reaches out to me in regards to everything that happened. At this point there has been no cost to me other than upgrading the rental myself and paying the difference which has only been $35ish so if all turns out well and after driving the car a bit more and making sure everything is good with it, I will edit again this review. I’m very impressed by the way customer service has handled my experience and like I said before I won’t be going back to Mavis but at least there was a resolution with my vehicle getting fixed finally.

I drive a 01 subaru forrester and these guys are amazing and they really treat you kinda like a family. They are friendly and go above and beyond my satisfaction expections. I live probably about an hour from here and this is the only place I will take my car. If I cant do it they can and in a timely manner. Never any doubts and I know my car is in great hands.. no questions asked I guarantee youll be satified

Double charged me, Jessie and Tom lied about prices on the phone vs. in store and made threats to me after I caught them lying. Didnt offer any help. Dont want to come back even for a refund scared they might do more bad things to my car.
