The worst experience of my life. Came in today and explained my self to the manager there at the store about my appointment that I had made with one of the workers he said there was nothing showing for me this is my 3rd time going to the store mad me a appointment at 8:30 just to tell me that he can’t give me a new phone and that they close in 30min so they can’t fix my phone today that they have to kelp it over night and to go back the 4th time and pick up my phone people don’t have time like you guys do people have lives you guys don’t care about people timeI don’t recommend this store at all they don’t no how to take care of there customers I work in customer service there management staff don’t know how to talk with there customer a manager knows when a customer is lying to him I don’t lye today one
Just like the other reviews said! They dont even have a greeter at this location. No one to ask why youre there or point you in the right direction. I had an appointment and after taking it upon myself to find someone who was not actively with a customer I was checked in and waited 30 for no one ever to come talk to me about my issue. I ended up leaving because why set an appointment if its not even respected! No one even had the decency to say hey sorry about your wait we are kind of busy would you mind waiting just a bit at least let me know that you guys care and know that Im actively waiting for an appointment that was scheduled over A WEEK in advance!
When I typically think of Apple i think of phones and accessories. You go in to buy what you want and then youre on your way. Today I was lucky enough to receive customer service from an overall awesome salesman, Davionte. The experience was AMAZING and added substance and quality. To be able to receive the goods needed while also having a great conversation as well as insight to my needs just made my option of Apple so much more that just a regular store. If anyone is looking for a good delivery of information on products as well as a great time, Davionte is definitely the guy to request!
Current Manager at store said store was closed and was no longer accepting anyone, but proceeded to allow a young lady inside despite arriving the same time as the other people outside. (She had no appt or anything) Speaks volume on how certain people are being treated. Went here to pickup a new phone and there was a huge line so I decided to come back at a later time to pick up my phone because i was told i have 2 weeks to pickup my phone if i decide not to wait in line. Got there later and was told I couldnt pickup my phone since my pickup time passed. Whats the point of having a pickup time confirmation in the first place and having to wait in line. I now have cancelled both my phones from Apple. It literally takes 5 minutes to go in the back to get it. Lost any business you would have gotten from me. If i get another phone Ill wait and go to Best Buy or somewhere else.

Having finally decided to give iPhone a try after 10 years of being an Android guy, my first experience with this Apple store is not living up to the Apple provides better service hype. I pre-ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max and was given an appointment time of 6:30-6:45pm to pick it up at the store. The email clearly said that if I were to arrive early or late it could negatively impact my ability to pickup the phone. So I made sure to arrive exactly at 6:30 per my reservation. Upon arrival and checking in with an Apple store rep I was told the line for people with an appointment was OUTSIDE of the mall! I went outside and got in that line and agent officially checked me in. I told him that I had an appointment for 6:30-6:45pm and that I had arrived exactly at my appointment time and that I didnt understand why I was having to wait in a long line outside the mall. He basically told me that it just was what it was and the only other option would be to leave and come back another time. I asked how long the wait was and he said about an hour and a half or longer. Since I couldnt wait that long (nor should I have needed to for an appointment that I arrived on time for), I left. Two days later, today, I went back to the store to pick up my phone. I arrived 30 minutes before the store opened expecting that they would honor my previous appointment since they didnt honor it originally but even if they didnt Id be fine as a walk in since I got there before the store opened. However, after waiting 30mins for the store to open, once it finally did we were told we could not pick up the phone that they were only servicing people who had appointments. I explained that I did have an appointment on Friday and showed up on time but was not serviced at that time. He explained that the issue Friday was the result of not sticking to appointments so starting yesterday they were sticking to appointment rules and there was no way I could get my phone.So basically I got screwed Friday because the store was not sticking to the rules then screwed again today because they were. I still dont have my phone. And obviously Apple doesnt understand how appointments work. Nor do they respect me as a customer and my time. I have now driven to the store twice and wasted my time just trying to pick up the super expensive iPhone. Not loving Apple right now.
The manager at this store, Tony, is very un consumer friendly. He sent me to buy my phone at T-Mobile, but even though my phone wouldnt turn on, he didnt care and didnt let me buy a phone, he just said I had to wait and told me to wait 30 minutes instead of trying to help me get a phone quickly and get in and out of the store, definitely will not be returning to this Los Cerritos location, very unhelpful management here. Apple if you are reading this, TAG YOU ARE IT! .
By far the worst Apple store I’ve ever visited. The customer service is terrible, and they give misleading and false information. I took my defective MacBook to get repaired, and a few days later I got an email to pick up my “fixed product”. Upon picking it up, I turned it on, and sure enough the problem was still there. The guy at the Genius Bar said they would send it for a second repair. This was on a Wednesday, and I wasn’t going to be around the following week, because I don’t live in the area. I begged and begged if it was possible to get it sooner given that it was their fault that it wasn’t repaired the first time. The guy was super rude, and said no impossible. Today, I got an email saying it was going to arrive onSaturday, August 20, 2021 to the address I had to resort to giving, because it was “impossible” that it would be ready at their center by then. This was a lie. I’m working as an English teacher and as schools are opening up it’s essential for me to use my computer for work. I’ve missed on having access to it for over a week, and now I will have to wait another week until I am able to pick up at the address rather than picking it up here while I’m in the area. Honestly disappointed. Also, be careful and read what they write on your service description because the Genius Bar guy had written that my MacBook had scratches and scruffs, which wasn’t true. I had to go back and tell him, and he was like oh right my mistake. This gives them the freedom to scratch your Mac during the repair with no accountability. Make sure the notes they write match up.
Apple Store: the brick and mortar shopping experience created to purposefully destroy the fun and excitement of in-person shopping.Not sure about ALL Apple stores, but this location is pure chaotic bureaucracy.I asked to buy a sim-free iphone 12 with 2 years of Apple care. I had no questions, didnt need financing, didnt need activation, nothing. Just wanted a brand new phone in the box to go. Literally the most basic and simple transaction.45 minutes to an hour estimated wait time. No apology, no concern.Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

My education level is “HIGH SCHOOL”, not “HI FOOL!”. I might not be an Apple Genuis, I’ll admit that, but I know a street scam hustle dressed up when I see one. Apples tried to use Classic, illegal BAIT AND SWITCH tactics on me here. My iPad was checked via phone & a bad battery was confirmed. I was given a $99.00 estimate 2 replace it in store & an appointment that is a nightmare at this store. ( Check the other 1star reviews). After I arrived at said nightmare appointment another “diagnostic test” was done that says that my battery that goes from 100% to 0% in less than 30 minutes is GOOD @ 84% so I now MUST buy a new iPad for $599.00 instead of the confirmed estimate of $99.00. Wait! What just happened? Why does this genuis and Apple think that a 30mn battery is good? Why is the Genuis shocked that the phone tech told me this? Why did she go back & forth to speak to an ADMINISTRATOR if the policy is in writing? Why was I never shown the written policy? Supposedly, if my 6 years old battery was at 80%, (which the diagnostic machine NEVER. reads, I would have gotten the $99.00 price which is a classic BS Bait part of the Bait and Switch) I will update review after I receive the State Attorney General Response regarding Bait and Switch Tactics. My ex employers, Sears and K-Mart were masters of this criminal behavior.

This place is no help along with apple support. Jonathan on chat, Gill senior advisor, Brij Thankore senior advisor on apple support are not helpful at all. They will keep you on the phone for over an hour check all your apple devices and then say we can’t help you with your apple account because we don’t believe it’s you even though you have 6 apple devices seating in front of me. 2 factor authentication with a number that’s never been setup on your account. Sorry I can’t help you . You must know the number it’s your device, what’s your Apple ID that’s on the phone/iPad?, what’s the name on the screen?, ok good sorry you didn’t put that number in but it’s your device and I can’t help you reset and unless you know the number that you don’t know on your Apple ID. Anything else I can help you with besides the problem your having. Yes cancel the charges on my Apple ID. Sorry can’t do that because we need to Identify that it’s your account. Never mind the papal account that says it’s me, never mind how many devices your signed into but can’t use because we don’t believe that you don’t know the number on your Apple ID. It’s your Apple ID, if you don’t know it ask some friends and family if they put it in your phone.. Apple support has terrible customer service I’m sure I’m not the only 1 in the world with this issue. But why care about customers that have issues like this since it’s so minor compared to the millions that don’t.
On Tuesday, February 18, my father and I visited the Apple Store in the Los Cerritos Center. My dad had previously purchased an Apple Iphone through an Apple reseller, and he experienced issues with the phone’s configuration from day one. He made the commitment to get the issue resolved by getting a new phone directly from an Apple Store. We showed up early and were promptly assigned to Sergio as our sales associate. Sergio was extremely pleasant, and was able to address my father’s concerns. Most importantly, he was able to source the information that he didn’t have the direct answers for, and for that I’m very appreciative. It would have been horrible for my dad to go through the entire process of securing a new phone only to have a new set of issues develop. As it turned out my dad is extremely satisfied with his new iphone 11!Good Job Sergio, and Many Thanks!

I made an appointment this past sunday in the morning, got it for for 3pm, not bad, the store was jammed packed. I said to myself oh boy, looks like I may have to be a while. I checked in and was told wait here at this table full of sad looking faces, looks like they have been there a while! And to my surprise 60 seconds later a tech shows up, runs a diagnostic on my iPhone. They decide to replace it but dont have it in stock, they tell me it will take 3-5 days to get a replacement. NOT good, its a recent model. So I was in and out of the store in 5 mins. Two days later I get a phone call and email my replacement iPhone has arrived, so I head back to the store, check in, wait here, and less than a minute later a tech shows up with my new iPhone. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. All in all, I cant complain too much. so MAKE your APPOINTMENT!!! Get taken care of. And you wont be one of those fools sitting at a table with a long sad face sucking your thumb!
I been there with my kids for shopping in store, we wait in the line then one worker there his name Patrick send me to other corridor he said “Go to other corridor and you will find two apple guys and tel them that you want do shopping “We went to other corridor and walk till Q store we find nothing then I came back to apple I found my turn was gone.I don’t know why he did that with me !!!!I told him this not fair and bad.Manager, you can see the story in Main corridor or store front camera.It’s in April 19, about 6:00 pm.I feel bad, it’s happened in front of my kids.And by the way I did shopping $460 Apple Watch.Please be nice next time

I wen early in the morning. There was plenty of parking not to many people and I like that they is room to walk not to many small businesses in the middle of the hallways. I dont like it wen the small business in the hallway are pushing there business. I would say no to them and they did respect my answer not like in other malls I say no thanks but they still try to cell me stuff

Very busy place. Don’t be afraid to seek out help. Waiting for someone to ask you if you need assistance may take a while. I found the staff to be knowledgeable enough to meet most everything. What they don’t know, they ask upwards. In and out with my iMac in short order. They even helped with the transportation to the vehicle. Great job Apple!

Crazy Covid protocols in place.You have to make a reservation in order to shop. Only 1 family member allowed in at a time. Im purchasing a MacBook and the best person to ask questions is my husband who Is NOT allowed to go in with me.Its crazy!When online there was no information advising us to make an appointment ahead of time so we showed up and waited for their 1st available time slot 3 hrs out.We also didnt see an option online to purchase ahead of time.

It was worth experience ever, My appointment was at 2.10 and I was on the line till 2.40 and still were to many people ahead of me, I asked for manager, first they refused and after they see I startet recording the manager show up, Sam ( manager) insisted to erase to video to allow me to receive service, So DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR MESS OR BE AWARE TO NOT GETTING SERVICE. I was considering buying a Macbook and needed to ask questions. The security guards literally said the people would not talk to me right then and didnt want my money. I didnt cause scene, no Karen moment, and they were calm and polite, but I was really shocked at the treatment and lack of service.
Sorry to say but the issue I reported to the Apple store was not repaired. After our phone consultation on Wednesday, I was told to go in at the store in Cerritos.Obviously it was a waste of time.👎👎😤
They are managing the covid-19 regulations really well! Even when some guests were not keeping a distance themselves the staff was really informed and polite.
Ordered AirPod pros, paid for same day delivery. Never received item shipped from Cerritos store thru Postmates. Was given the runaround when trying to find out where my order was. Apple told me the order was cancelled by the delivery service but could not get in contact with anyone to get any answers. Therefore it may take up to 11 days to tell me what happened to my order and in the meantime they can’t give me my money back. This is completely unacceptable, I will never order online from Apple again.

Due to COVID restrictions I didn’t shop in store but sought help via phone. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to customer service rep, Mike. I had several questions regarding how to use my iPad more efficiently, things that you would normally learn with a manual, which was not included with my iPad. Mike taught me more than I could imagine.I felt very fortunate and grateful that Mike was the person that picked up my call. He was patient, professional, helpful and kind. Mike is the gold standard by which all Apple employees should strive to be, especially in a customer service capacity.I asked to speak with his supervisor so I could share my praise with him. It wasn’t possible at that time so I’m calling out Mike’s supervisor, Skyy. Skyy if you’re reading this I want to congratulate you on having such an exemplary employee. Please give Mike a raise or a promotion. At the very least take him to lunch or buy him a gift card. My only regret is that there’s no guarantee I will be able to speak with Mike every time I have a question. The staff here were amazing in helping me with my tech issue. I appreciate that they give extraordinary level of service even if you aren’t buying anything. Especially Amy the technician, she stayed with me for who knows how long (probably an hour) trying to help me sort out the issue with my phone. I was definitely depressed and awkward to be around (I was just staring at my dead phone), but she tried her best to keep conversation going and explain to me what was happening. Thank you Amy and team!

He informed me of the issues with my laptop and gave me advice on if I was going to go through them getting it fixed or if I would just to get my problem fixed elsewhere. He helped me find an affordable option for me. It was great!

The most frustrating experience EVER! All I wanted to do was find out the wait time at this store. I was thrown to the automated Support Center that could not understand my question. No matter what option I picked, I wound up at the automated Support Center. I am trying to buy a new iPAD but clearly you dont want my business since I cant get in to see anyone. My time is valuable and I do NOT want wait around for hours.
The representative was awesome and repaired the item instantly after observation. It was fast and he was full of knowledge. I will recommend coming to this apple store for all your apple needs.
When you first arrive, please ask someone for help. Theres different wait times for different things you need to buy. The phone line is always the longest. Once I got help, it was very fast and the staff was knowledgeable. I which the had signs for the lines.

Great place to get help and buy the right accessories that actually work. Staff is very helpful with great attitude. Not every issue may be resolved fast and to your satisfaction in a world of computers. By now we have to learn to live with this. Sometimes it help comes fast and issue is taken care of and sometimes it is not. I also think that customers often forget (or do not think of to begin with) that policies, procedures and prices are not set by the store employees. Everything comes from HQ. Some of it makes sense and some of it does not. Try to find a place where at the door you get greeted and pointed to a right direction without you wondering around... Apple gets high rating for customer satisfaction because they are very good at it. Not perfect, but very very good. I am not searching for perfect. Hope you are not either. Then it means Apple Store in the Cerritos mall is a great place for Apple users.
Security guards were VERY rude. Was returning something the Apple person over the phone sold me that I didnt need. They kept putting me at the back of the line until I asked for a manager. POOR service

It is a busy place but they are very efficient. I was there to get an I phone checked and it was done quickly. I had an appointment scheduled prior to my visit. So, it made things easier.
They made us wait one hour and ten minutes just to buy an iPhone without carrier that they have in stock. Every 20 someone comes to tell us that are next. Finally we found a guy who showed us a line to pay and get the phone. Id rather go to Best buy or Target store next time.

Terrible customer service experience (again)Ive gone to this store several times over the years and the customer service had dropped very low in the past year. I was there yesterday to pick up an online order. The store was chaos. There were a lot of people at the Genius Bar. There were people at every station/table within the store. There were a lot of employees walking around looking busy but there was no clear path/line/flow for me to get to one of these people to pick up my order. I noticed a few employees that appeared idle, when I walked over to them they would turn and walk away. I tried standing in one place net to a table where employees kept stopping at to talk to other customer and no help. I finally found someone to help with my order pick up just by looking for idle workers. A process that should have been 5 minutes took 30.I was going to select free shipping for my online order but wanted to make sure I had the product in hand before Christmas and chose store pickup. Next time... free shipping!!!A few months earlier I went into the store for a lightning adapter and couldnt get anyone to help with the purchase and walked out.
