Could be cleaned up some but you should find what you need here.

Friendly help. But this one in Centralia is so small and almost every isle had carts loaded with new merchandise to be put on the shelves. Very hard to get to things and hard to see what they have. Otherwise it is a nice store.

Love that we have a store so close to were we live cause we dont have anything else.to.shop from unless we drive 3 to 4 miles and sometimes thats an inconvenience.

The Dollar General in Central City,Il. Is the smallest D.G. in the Cenrrlia area. Its also the closest D.G. to where I live.Being close is convenient for me and everyone in the area. Being the smallest doesnt let them carry the amount goods and services the other D.G.s in town but tgey do carry the everyday essentials. It saves all of us, in the area, 2 or 3 miles of driving,to get the small things,that we need,bread,milk,small medical supplies,pet foods,paper goods and other everyday day items. The employees are always ready to help us in any way they can. I would recommend this store to anyone needing the goods and services,I have spoken of. They are an A+ in my book.

There shelves are not stocked and half the time there crew is standing around doing nothing

They always look closed windows are dark. Never enough cashiers. Cant find anyone to help you. There is one very nice man that works there

I work at a different retailer and shop at this store quite often. Always friendly staff. Its a shame that the front door has been broken for months. Not days or weeks but months. How about the district manager put some money in to fixing current stores. I realize DG is growing and that is great, but its like once a store is opened the company is done with it. I will still shop at this location because I like it but it makes your company look bad cause they wont even fix the front entrance thats been broke for way to long.

Selection was sparce,most of it seemed to be in racks waiting to be placed on the shelves.

Ive been here many times and loved it every time.

Couldnt get up and down isles. Freight everywhere. I am 63 and I have to carry my bags up steps which is hard because I have bad knees and trouble breathing. Your stores never have big bags. I ask every time I shop at D. G. It is easier to carry a couple big bags than maybe five or more small. Plus sometimes I have to make two trips. No consideration for elderly or disabled.

Cldnt find what I was looking for but staff was friendly.

New hispanic cashier was really rude, and my sister bought some rellos and she literally gad us wait for 30 minutes and called two other workers to look at her id to make sure it was her and nit me on the id licture....*ONCE AGAIN*This just happened again today! My sister showed two id’s and was still denied and the cashier said that it was MY id and not hers!?! Then why would I not just purchase the item my self?? The lady had an attitude from the gecko. I’m sick and tired of my sister not being able to use her id because of how young she looks. I understand that store owners have the right to refuse service but she was only a manager so I would really love to contact the owner and see how he/she would feel given the fact this has happened twice now. It’s just super inconvenient, irritating and embarrassing!!
