My husband needed assistance with building materials and the manager Brandon was just fantastic! He really helped with all of our needs. Brandon made everything a breeze. Hes a true asset there, employees were so very nice also. We will definitely make this our permanent store! Great service, awesome Manager. 👍

Lets face it, Home Depot is the best home improvement store. Wide range of best products and well organized store. Only downside is they basically only have customer self checkouts other than the Pro checkout.

The Home Depot always has an amazing selection of goods available, arranged in a manner that is easy to browse. I have to say the staff at this store was also very friendly and helpful on my visit today, which is a huge bonus.

We just left Hone Depot on Wilmington pike. We went to purchase some flooring and a host of other things. Never in my life have I been treated as rudely as we were in the flooring department. The gal was rude condensing, disrespectful and just plain awful to us . We ended up walking out and leaving without purchasing anything. We did talk to a manager. But I have little faith that this individual will be dealt with in any way. Avoid this location.

My husband and I purchased a new Bosch refrigerator on July 5th. The deliver truck broke down and was delayed arriving at our home by 5 days. Upon delivery they damaged our floor moving the old fridge out. Once they installed the new fridge it was damaged. There was a major leak in the line immediately after they installed it so they had to remove the Bosch fridge and take it back. We then decided to just give up and requested a refund. On 3 separate occasions a manager at the Home Depot stated they were sorry and would be issuing a refund. Now 19 days from the date of purchase they have still not refunded the amount they agreed to refund. We’ve called multiple times and no one seems to know who or why we have not been refunded. They still owe us over $2600. Never ever shop here. Horrible business.

The power chords displayed on the websites were not in stock in any area stores; I spoke to a recent hire who had no clue how to search for the chords even with the Store SKU # I provided. After two transfers and a wait, I was told it wasnt in stock in my area stores. I needed it asap and ended up using Amazon. I want to support local businesses. I think new hires need additional support and businesses have to stock items shown in at least one division store.

Home Depot always has helpful staff but the people here just seemed to go above and beyond that.

I purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer on 7/25/21 and also paid for the removal and haul away. My order was delivered on time but the two delivery drivers refused to take my old washer and dryer because they said We dont have room on the truck to take them Are you serious? That has be one of the worst excuses I’ve ever heard. If you have my new washer and dryer on your truck and take them off, you’d clearly have room for my old washer and dryer on that truck! They said they would call later to reschedule the haul away which they never did. I had to call the store and and talk to Adam, the store manager to try to resolve the situation. He said he would refund my haul away charge and had my haul away scheduled for this past Tuesday. I missed several hours of work and they never showed up!! On top of that my haul away was never refunded. I paid for services that we’re never completed and the issue has still not been resolved! I’m at the point of returning my order and giving my business to Lowes. Extremely poor experience,customer service and leadership at this store.

We love this location of The Home Depot, and Im only slightly bias because I used to work there. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you have in-depth questions try to go during the weekday from 7-4ish when the more senior employees are there...they are the most helpful. We constantly have some kind of home project going on so its like a home away from home! If you have questions ask for Mike, Tim, or Doreen and theyll get you hooked up!

They have completely lost my business. As I bought 32 boxes of flooring and we grabbed, or should I say my employee grabbed 12 that were the wrong color. So at 29.07 a box I simply went in to exchange. Well since they were not damaged and trading for the same exact thing and with out a receipt they offered me $1 a box. Im like are you freaking serious. You think I am going to lose roughly $325 because I misplaced a receipt. You have lost my $10,000 a month spending from my business. And I closed my account and walked. I am sorry and maybe I shouldnt think this way but you would think since they were all still boxed and packaged never opened and because I simply paid cash that day rather than a card that they wouldnt wanna lose my business and at least offer something better than a dollar a box. So goodbye Home depot and hello Lowes.

Ive created my account with home depot and also, called them. I had problem with finding the fact about how true they are about what they advertise. And its not there what they say.Everything they say is hidden more likely I would call it lie. The lady on phone asked if I would pay with my credit card I would get extra $20 off. Sure, I want that discount and paid. I drove 14 miles to get my items, I ordered and paid online. I came at the store, my items are missing and they dont know why. I love Home Depot, and this store has GREAT employees. Anything I have ever needed, from paint to drywall, tile, all my home improvement projects, they gladly answer my questions and are so helpful. Many of the staff were so kind to my new little Covid Puppy when I brought her in for highly needed socialization last last autumn, even more-so than the staff at the pet stores!

I was looking for a tire inflator and found exactly what I needed after asking an employee. I purchased the dual power 12 Vdc / 120 Vac Husky inflator. Took it home, tried it and it worked like a charm. The price was $54.99 . Very happy with the inflator.I set the air level for 33 lbs and when it reached the setting it stopped pumping.

Normally enjoyable. Went out this time to look for a specific item. Got out there, none on the shelf. No problem. Came home and got on line only to be told that they had 59 units in stock, in store. If they cant keep their shelves stocked, then hire more stockers. I was very disappointed that I wasted a trip out there for nothing.

I came into the store looking to buy a product that was advertised as being in store, however when I got here, they where sold out of it. I dealt with four different sales associates and each one was pleasant and helpful. The last person who helped me called another Home Depot to see if the product was in and requested they put it to the side for me. I was very impressed with the niceness and helpfulness of staff at the centerville location

Pretty typical large hardware store. Staffed well on weeknights, but less so on the weekends. They have a good selection of hardware and wood and wire.

Their service after sale of appliances was terrible. No one knew how to resolve issue. Went to store, who gave wrong info and then sent us to customer support, who then said she could not support - that I had to go to store. She was able to facilitate resolution at store.When spending thousands of dollars getting poor support is unacceptable.

Assistance is always available. Merchandise is easy to find. Do not like self check out. Do to this I do not shop there alot anymore.

Appears they provide a good training program. The young adult employees i encountered were couteous, informative, and helpful. I had many questions, received support finding answers. Then, i set down my cell phone to take notes on a product i was interested in buying, left my phone there, walked off, panicked, couldnt find it. Received help in locating it! Great job with my entire shopping experience. A feel im a valued customer.

I hate Home Depot. Overpriced and there is no one knowledgeable in the entire building. At least 10%-15% more expensive than other DIY stores. It more of a last resort than somewhere I would choose to go.

I could find only two of the parts I needed. A very nice associate looked it up and found 9 in the store. Sorry, not anywhere I could find. Found a substitute, so no tears which is great since I dont want to end up on the naughty list!

If I could leave 0 (or negative) stars, I would. The employees at this store dont care, ignore customers, and dont know how to do their job. If you ever have the option to use the lockers for pick up, DONT. The computer will give you a number, but some genius decided not to put numbers on the storage units. I tried to pick up an order, the machine told me that it opened my unit, and did nothing. Then I tried to use curbside pick up to have an employee bring it out to me, waited a half an hour and no employees were in sight. I went inside to see what was going on, there was only one employee working, he had no idea what he was doing. After waiting in line another 30 minutes, the employee told me that he didnt know how to open the lockers and pushed me aside to wait for someone else. Another employee that was meandering in the back of the customer service desk doing nothing finally asked me what I was waiting on. After huffing and puffing, he got my package. This is NOT an isolated incident, every time I come here I get blown off and ignored. The people that work here are clueless. I dont know if this is the fault of the Home Depot leadership, but its a joke. And as a great ending to all this aggravation, my sockets were bent and damaged. People will keep shopping here no matter what for the cheap prices, but for what its worth I hate this place and will never shop at a home depot again. Lowes is not much better, but they at least have better customer service. If you can, support local hardware stores (if that even exists anymore), like ACE. They at least pretend to give a damn. Im dont typically complain on the internet, but this experience really ticked me off.

We started this little adventure over the summer. We (like many) decided to update our home a little while in quarantine. We ordered our FIRST 60 inch vanity in August. Shipping was slow as expected, and it arrived broken. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, it being the first time it happened, and re-ordered it. The same broken vanity returned to us 5days after returning it. We decided to try our hand at a different style, and ordered again. Well, The original date of delivery was October 7th, and it never showed up, with no heads up that it was going to be delayed. When my husband checked the site to see if there was any type of reason, the website gave another expected delivery date. We waited, and the date came and went, no vanity. Every single day that we went to check the tracking, the delivery date was moved back a day or two then previously posted. We cancelled that vanity ordered and AGAIN tried to order from this company. This time we ordered it to the ship to the store. Now, the vanity arrived to the store much quicker than it would have arrived to our home, but when we went to pick it up........BROKEN AGAIN. Shocker. Fourth time wasn’t the charm, and we decided that our business was finished with Home Depot. We will now have to wait 21 days for a check to be mailed to us since they couldn’t refund our original form of payment 🥴 Moral of this story, I wouldn’t bother with this company unless you enjoy being delayed over and over, and in the end disgusted to put it lightly.

Home Depot had plenty of employees walking about to ask questions of, and to get help from. The item we were looking for didnt have enough stock in the bin so it was easy to find someone to help, and he found the quantities we needed. Had adequate cashiers so did not have to stand in line.

Picked up a few supplies for a project at home had what I needed

I havent been working around the house a lot which means I havent been into home depot too much in recent years. It has changed a lot as far as customer service goes. I was in there around an hour coming within feet of numerous employees and wasnt greeted or asked if I needed help once. When I used to go you couldnt walk past an employee without at least being greeted. Its a shame whats happened to this location as far as that goes. Hopefully someone that cares notices and makes the appropriate changes. It made for a very poor experience as I could have used help but felt as if I were a nuisance.Update: I went to this same location the other night and had a much better experience! Greeted and offered assistance by a few employees. Maybe it was a bad night for everyone the first time. Anyway I changed my rating from a one to a four based on my two recent experiences.

The staff in lighting were accommodating and took me to what I needed.

I ordered some items for curbside pickup and I got a text that my order was ready. I followed all instructions and clicked “Bring My Order”. Waited 15 minutes. Called the store. They said I could pick it up inside. Waited 15 more minutes. They never came out with my order so I left. I do not recommend this store for online pickup.

Every time I come to this location there is an issue. Every....time. I blame myself for returning time and time again. The employees I have encountered seem as though they couldnt care less about the customers. I do a bit of online/pick-up at the store ordering. Not once has it been correct. I get this whole pandemics situation turned things sideways, but that is no excuse for losing all bearing when dealing with customes. Alas, Lowes is right down the road and are good to go.

Scheduled an appointment for cabinets. No one showed. Apparently she took the day off and no one bothered to tell us. Further, the lady that told us that said that our job was to small for custom cabinets and we should look elsewhere.

This home depot has become my primary spot for building materials, not only due to their inventory but also because the employees are actually helpful. As an example, Amber went out of her way to help me out with a manufacturer warranty-claim when she really had no obligation to. Could have easily told me not my problem but instead helped me with the lengthy process of getting a replacement part.

The store does a decent job of limiting the number of customers to provide social distancing. I saw a few staff with their masks pulled off or not wearing them correctly, leaving the noses uncovered. About one-half of the customers were unmasked if I dont like to spend much time there. I did not rate the store on the fact that the customers were not masked.

Diane in flooring helped us and she was very helpful and understanding.
