Evan was extremely helpful in my experience at Batteries Plus today! He started by testing my car battery to see if it needed to be replaced, which it did. He then suggested several different options/warranties for me to purchase, and then offered to take a look to see if he could offer his hand in replacing the actual battery. After determining that replacing it would be somewhat difficult and tedious, he still offered to give it a shot and he succeeded! Got exactly what I needed and the service was great. I made an appointment online and was able to get in day of to replace an iPhone battery that wasnt holding a charge very long. I got it fixed in less than a couple hours and the phone is working beautifully now!

Evan was wonderful! He had a lot of customers this morning and made sure to communicate to every single customer in the store that he would be right with us and that he appreciated our time. Stellar customer service. He also explained the warranties and the sale products displayed at the counter that were a great deal for anyone needing LED’s. In addition, while placing my new battery he showed me that a metal piece I took a photo of was in bad shape and that I may want to have it looked at by my mechanic. His attention to detail and his kindness were apparent and I would recommend anyone to this Batteries and Bulbs location!

Batteries, batteries and lighting. The staff is helpful and the shops do a pretty good job at stocking some of the harder to find batteries. Particularly if youre looking for a special purpose type batteries. It seems as though a fair amount of time is dedicated to training for the staff to make them better informed and therefore better able to assist with your needs.
I love the fact that you will change the battery. I can do it, but when Im coming from work, its a pain to try not and get my work clothes dirty, and its ten easy to recycle the battery. The gentleman working was also very kind, enthusiastic and did a good job helping me. Thanks!

Wow. This has been my go to place for years. After my encounter with Nate today, I will certainly hesitate before going again. His comments were condescending and combative. I was sold a universal charger yesterday by a very friendly young man but non of the adapters fit so I took it back. I knew the return might be questionable because my daughter had written her initials on the battery but 98% of the writing came off with an alcohol swab. Regardless, I was upfront about it and there was no need for his belittling comments and dismissive attitude. $60 down the drain. When I asked if there was somewhere to recycle it, he said I could pay them to do that.
The clerk was very courteous and informative. The replacement of my cell phone batter was done promptly and wait time was minimal.

Fast, friendly service. I had a car DVD player remote that had needed new batteries for over a year. Within 5 minutes they had the new batteries installed and the kiddos are one again able to fight over the remote in the backseat. The price seemed reasonable too.
These guys are fantastic! I just brought in a couple batteries, one for a razor scooter and the other for a power wheels. They helped troubleshoot a mechanical issue on the razor scooter, and they “Frankenstein’s “a fix for an older style battery. Great customer service and very friendly! Maybe just a single employee on this one visit but thats enough to insure I (as well as other people he encounters) will never return. Corporate is looking into it... Maybe a resolution.

Great service from the store manager. Battery purchased online was not in rock. She quickly came up with alternate solution and honored online purchase discount. We has need battery in car within minutes and then headed to a great breakfast restaurant recommended by the store manager.
Complete waste of my time. First I took a trip to the store with my cell phone for a battery that I wanted replaced. A very nice obviously new gentleman checked the model of my phone and inventory. Even though they had two in stock no one was there to install at the time. I was directed to the website to make an appointment so I did that evening. After shuffling my whole morning schedule so I can drop my phone off and take a second trip to the store the next employee I met had a very different opinion. Not only did he scold me for not having the correct phone on my online appointment but he also informed me that they do not work on this model. So three days later no battery replacement and a complete waste of my time! First time going to this store and definitely the last.
Super fast and quality service! I thought my daughters phone was cracked beyond repair but they were able to fix her cracked phone screen in about an hour. The price was much lower than other store quotes as well.
Had the best customer service experience this morning! My remote key battery to my car was low, so I took it in to get it looked at. I talked to Jerry at the front desk. He took the key apart, and checked the life of the battery. He stated that it was almost dead. Jerry also noticed that the metal holding piece for the battery was loose, and aptly fixed it.After replacing the battery with one that I already had, Jerry gave me my key back, and told me to have a nice day. I was adamant about paying for his service. However, Jerry refused, and just asked if I would pay it forward.How wonderful and pleasant it was to have a business and its team be about customer satisfaction versus the bottom line of the mighty dollar!
I called on 6/30 and spoke with a sales associate regarding a purchase of 2 6v golf cart batteries for my camper. I explained that I wanted to purchase online to take advantage of the 10% discount. The sales associate confirmed he had the batteries in stock. I mentioned that I only had 1 battery to trade in he said, no problem. He also stated that there was an additional $10 off mail in rebate, but I had to purchase by 6/30 to take advantage. I did just that, and made mention that I spoke with him and would be in after the 4th of July holiday weekend to pick up the batteries...fast forward to today. I went to pick up the batteries and spoke with the manage Craig. He asked if I had 2 cores to trade in I said, no I had one and the sales associate I spoke with said it wouldnt be a problem. He insisted that it would be a problem and that I would have to pay an additional $12. I took issue with this, stating that the sale associate stated no I wouldnt have to pay that. I asked to confirm that there was mail in rebate paper work for an additional $10 per battery. The manager looked and could not find any rebate offer. I asked what could be done...nothing. Craig wasnt helpful, and refused to honor any of the promises made by the other associate. I asked if he knew him and he said yes, and there was nothing he could do. At this time the other sales associate offered that the core charge was wrong, it wasnt $12 it was actually $16. NICE...now Im being asked to pay an additional $36 dollars. I asked for a refund and left. Craig isnt cut out to be a manager and his sales associate was more than excited to offer up less than helpful information and support the managers bad attitude and terrible customer service.Here is where is gets better...I called the South West Plaza location and explained what had just happened. I asked, is this a Batteries Plus thing or just a bad manager. The guys I spoke with at the South West Plaza store were awesome! They said that they would not only match what I had been told, but would beat it if possible. He asked me to hold while he confirmed that he had the batteries in stock, came back on the line and said yes we will be happy to make it right.Avoid the Centennial location, make the drive out to South West Plaza. The new manager at that location is awesome. I walked out of the store paying what I had been promised by the previous sales associate, I did not have to pay the additional core fee, he honored the rebate in a straight discount...in addition I left with a handful of LED bulbs at an amazing price. I like Batteries Plus, but the Centennial location lost a $300+ dollar sale as a result of terrible customer service and an overall bad attitude.
EXCELLENT customer service! Went in for a 392 battery, and also picked up some 60 watt LED dilemma light bulbs. Tom G. helped me. Not only did he open a box and put the bulb in their display to show me how low it went, he told me they were on special AND had a rebate. He also gave me a 10% coupon off my next in-store purchase. He carried the box out to my car and had the best smile ever. Highly recommend!

Bought a car battery on line and requested installation. Prior to purchase, called the store and told them the make, model and year of the car.Drove to the store to fine out that they do not install car batteries on Lexus cars. Store person said that their website was not very helpful - certainly agree with that.Last time for me to go use the website or purchase anything at Batteries Plus!! Ill vote with my feet.
They had what I needed, when I needed it. I didnt have time to order it through another vendor and wait for it to arrive, though it might have been a bit cheaper. Very satisfied.
While the staff at the store were very nice about returning what I bought, the fact is that their website allowed me to buy a battery that their own notes showed would not fit in my car. Apparently, Mazda uses batteries with unusual proportions or something, but the website showed my make, model, and year in the listings and brought back a list of several batteries that were supposed to be OK for my car. When I arrived, the guy working there looked at their notes and informed me that they couldnt install it and I should go to the dealership. While I appreciated his help, etc., it is really irritating to waste the time of going down there and having to get a refund and then go deal with the dealership... if you know that the batteries you carry arent a fit for the car, just say so. Save me the wasted time, etc.
I was very happy with the service, the product knowledge of the staff and the selection available to me.In searching for a new motorcycle battery for my Kawasaki Concourse sport touring bike I was surprised to find that only the over priced dealers had any selection stocked. Non of the auto parts stores carried anything.I was pleasently surprised to find multiple selections available and in stock here. Very satisfied!

I went in with high expectations, customer service was efficient and friendly . After receiving a new phone battery my screen froze and phone became useless. Batteries Plus did rectify the problem and offered some choices to replace my phone.
Bought a battery 2 1/2 years ago with 36 month free replacement. Optima Yellow top. Battery went bad. They had to test it. Car has sit for more that 30 days because of bad battery. Now they find exception in fine print so they dont have to cover free replacement. Expensive AGM battery and poor support.
Nationwide 6 Month Warranty this is actually not correct! I went in a couple months ago to fix my iphone screen. Ever since having it fixed it hasnt been working right, when i get a notification the screen is messed up for a little then goes back to normal, of course now I waited to long and my screen is broken again... HOWEVER!! That is not on the warranty I go in to get my screen fixed - it broke. How is that not WARRANTY? Thats what you ficked in the first place.

I work at Appliance Factory in the same parking lot as this Batteries Plus and have needed to get repair on my screen. The staff here is prompt and very polite. I have no issue with the product, however, when the employee (Hunter) went to install my car battery he started to disconnect the positive terminal first. I said, no, no, from a safety standpoint, you should always disconnect the ground/negative terminal first and reconnect it last. He said we always do it this way and I responded, please do the ground first and he responded if you want to do it yourself, Im OK with that . Either he has not received proper training or did not understand the training. Either way, I didnt need his snarky response and came very close to telling him to forget it, refund my money, I will go somewhere else for my battery. I sent an email to management regarding this and got no reply. I guess they dont care.
Young man working wasnt friendly and we could tell he wasnt very knowledgeable. Anyways he sold us the wrong battery but luckily the location in Aurora was close to where we were broke down and the lady there was fantastic....she switched out the battery for the correct one and we were able to get back on the road.
Ordered CB9-12 12V / 9AH battery from website for my Black and Decker jump starter for store pickup today. Went to store to pick it up and to get the new battery installed. Showed the associate that all the lights (led emergency, battery guage, USB port) were in working order but that it wouldnt jump my car any longer. Associate tested the old battery and confirmed that it needed replaced. I was asked to come back because they were too busy for me to wait. Came back later that day to pick up the jump starter with the new battery. Noticed that none of the lights were working any longer. Associate did not have a compatible extension cord to plug in the jump starter and test the lights. Took the jump starter with new battery back home to test with my extension cord. Lights came on with the the jump starter plugged in to AC (as normal), but no longer come on when unplugged from AC (not normal). Took battery back to store for a refund. 3 trips to store, no new battery, and now a broken jump starter.Update: Chris was very helpful and was able to make the necessary repairs. Thanks, Chris!

I never did my confirmation email and when I went to get my battery the staff made me feel like it was an effort to serve me and never even thanked me. They were all in the back talking.A year ago I oredered a battery for my truck and it ended up being the wrong one! I found out from my dealer. Won’t be going back.

The line was almost out the door yet the apparently only employee on duty kept answering the phone instead of taking care of the customers in the store. After waiting for 20 minutes in the long line, another employee appears from the back room as if by magic. He should have been out front checking people out, not doing whatever he was doing in the back room. Also, the manager should train his employees to never pickup the phone when you are helping physical people in the store. Mark of poor customer service training. Unbelievable.
They, amazingly, had our older phone battery. (We did have to do a phone followup for them to get the battery transferred from other store after ordering online for in-store pickup, but no worries; they got it done.) Were able to check immediately if they could repair our HTC Evo 4G (can replace screen only, and battery but no internal speaker parts). Recycled our old lithium batteries for us. Had in stock the pop-it phone/car mount accessory. They offered to and actually can refurbish DeWalt rechargeable tool batteries, saves about half the cost from a new one. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful staff. A busy place and a good one to know!
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TOUCH YOUR CAR KEY REMOTE! I took my keys in because the battery in the remote was starting to run low. They not only damaged my keys changing the battery, NOW THEY DONT WORK AT ALL!!! I am so angry. They ruined a very expensive key that will now have to be replaced.

Had a minor issue with my Samsung S5, your customer service man Jerry resolved my issue in about 2 minutes. While I was waiting I observed Jerry helping out other clients who had more complicated issues, his knowledge and cheerful attitude stunned me, you do not see retail associates today that have this level of commitment and knowledge about their work. Whatever you are paying Jerry, double it.
