I never seem to find the items I need here. It is a very nice store, very clean with good looking produce. Unusual frozen meet selection: wild boar, ostrich, Yak, Bison....They have a large selection of frozen meals, desserts, cheese, dairy. I love how many different types of refrigerated uncured meats they have.I never have problems running in and out even though it is located on a very busy street.

Natural Grocers has a well-kept, organized environment, the shopkeepers are friendly and helpful, and they are quick to help you find anything you need no matter what it is. Their prices are competitive for organic/natural products, and their freshness is something I trust. My favorite part of this grocery store is the vitamin section and the dried herb section. They have a variety of grass-fed organic meats, milks, and eggs, vegan meat, milk, and baking options, good vegan cheeses, milks, and other natural/organic foods. They even have an Asian cooking section with sushi making ingredients, dashi flakes, miso paste, etc. No other natural foods store can compare, and I say that because they hit the mark more consistently and I always leave happy and taken care of.

Had I known that purchasing 9 items was such an inconvenience to your cashier, I wouldnt have stopped in today. Ive gotten better customer service from a self checkout. Ill make it easier for them by not coming back.

Great place great service, helpful employees, the manager is fantastic, when I moved back to the area wasnt able to find all the vitamins I was looking for, Gregg was the department manager and got the vitamins ordered in I needed and a few other healthy food and drinks, now hes the store manager, everyone who works there seems to care about their customers its always a good experience shopping here!

Best customer service I ever had in a grocery store! I got help finding everything I was looking for since I was new to the store. I was asked about reserving a turkey for Thanksgiving before they run out. I was told about their N power club so I can save more money next time. I found organic berries here at a much better price than at other local stores. I found free range chickens humanely raised which are hard to find in local stores. I also found organic olives preserved in citric acid. Most have lactic acid. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they had no fresh horseradish or Atlantic caught/ raised fish.

The BEST produce. All organic and always so fresh. Makes you want to eat nothing but raw fruits and veges! Great selection of vitamins and supplements. And all the choices of organic food your heart desires.

Really disappointing, especially with freshness of produce. Multiple times now, we have gotten home and found the fruit, despite looking acceptable, to be of poor quality when we actually consume it. Also really enjoyed getting food poisoning from a pack of bacon that as on clearance that we later noticed had no expiration date or the date had been wiped off.

Until today, I loved this store. But today I went to get a few items that I cannot get anywhere else. I was shocked to see several customers not wearing masks. I asked a manager to ask the other non mask wearing customer to put on a mask. Instead of doing that, the manager chastised me and told me to pick my battles and not say anything to the other customer. I wont be back. So disappointed.

Although Natural Grocers has a mask policy, they also have a policy to not enforce it. I find this unconscionable at a time when Covid is out of control. Are they afraid of a confrontation? I would argue that the odds of a confrontation that cannot be contained are small compared to the risk to their employees and customers. I will not be shopping there any longer after my experience there today with an unmasked shopper. New Pioneer DOES enforce their mask policy, and they will have my business exclusively now.

Was my first time being in this store. Wasnt sure where anything was located. Asked an employee if I could get some help finding stuff, and another employee walked me around to make sure I was able to find everything I needed. Was the best experience Ive had at a new place ever. Would definitely recommend them.

I cant really give an honest rating as the store is really not for me. Prices seem to be pretty high oh, but they did have some specialty items. I suppose it would be a good store if your lifestyle required it.

They have some produce, all organic, top quality groceries and a great staff. But half of the store is supplements, who knows whats really in those. We do buy some items there and have always been happy with the food.

Everybody wears a mask theres signs all over the floor for social distancing theyre constantly cleaning stuff up in the store wiping stuff down. If you believe in covid-19 or not its just a good feeling to know that its such a clean store and they care about their customers. 10+

Great prices and the staff is very friendly. They do have a bulk section but everything is packaged in plastic. If you are looking to reduce your plastic waste, this might not be the best place to shop. Despite that, they do have better prices than a lot of other health food stores.

This new grocery store to the city of Dubuque carries a very wide variety of healthy, organic, and natural foods and foodstuffs for those looking to buy those types of items. They also have a wide variety of vitamins and supplements. This isnt a cheap grocery store but the prices are in line with what you would expect to pay for these type of goods. The service here was also very friendly and helpful.

Loved the old Natural Grocers, all the new policies make it not such a great place to shop anymore. I have been shopping here since the very 1st day they opened. Wish it could go back to how it use to be. Disappointed.

The store front is small but they pack a lot in. Lots of vitamins and supplements. I watch for the specials that rotate and you get a good deal on organic items. Items are locally sourced. No fees to sign up for their discount program.

Best prices on healthy food in town!

They are the absolute best. I go to them for everything. Their reward program could be better, but all in all I love knowing I have them as an option for my family to eat well.

Another great addition to the Cedar Rapids area. This store has produce, tons of supplements, cruelty-free and vegan beauty products, lots of frozen foods and snacks, good assortment of vegan foods, and pre-packaged bulk items. There are enough products that are unavailable at other local food stores to make a trip worthwhile. Plus, they have great sales.

They didnt have a great selection of a few things I was looking for that I typically get from the Co op, Trader Joes or elsewhere.Vitamin selection was great, a few nice gluten free items and good protein bar selection.Prices cheaper than some local stores but still higher than quite a few chain natural stores.

Staff was confused about a minor question. The line to get out was so long it was wrapping through the aisles. Some of the brand choices are really weird even for a naturalstore. The prices were high. Two stars because it was clean and well organized.

Great produce and supplement section. If you cant find a special product there, chances are its not available anywhere in town. They will even special order products you request for no charge!

A good natural foods store, had everything we needed.

I enjoy the selection of supplements and especially the refrigerated probiotics. The produce is hit or miss; for that I would recommend New Pioneer and Im disappointed that Natural Grocers doesnt make the effort source more local produce, especially considering all of the wonderful farms we have around here.

Great place, nice people. Great produce prices for organic. I only shop in about 1/6 of the store, where the produce and fresh food are. I skip the half that is supplements, and the rest which is bulk and non perishables.

This place has the best prices on many organic goods. This is my go to place for kombucha. Great selection and stuff you cant find elsewhere in town. Some prices on certain goods can border on ridiculous though.

This place has things I cant find anywhere else. Gluten free items have color coded shelf labels. Lots of unusual herbs and bulk organic items. I just wish their website had prices so I know what I need to spend up front. A bit expensive.
