Stopped by Wilson Avenue location. Dropped in for a flu shot and Covid Vaccine booster. I was processed quickly.They were professional and pleasant to deal with.

Huge store but no selection unless you want hyvee brand items. Ridiculously overpriced compared to everywhere else in town. This is the closest place to my house but i will only shop here for a quick random purchase. Literally anywhere else is better.

I was having breakfast with my dad when we were told they didnt have any apple juice. So, I went into the store and bought one off of the shelf. Also, one would think they would receive the same service across all hyvees. Sad. This hyvees dinning area and staff... 1 star quality.

I always find what Im looking for in groceries and pharmaceuticals. Good prices for name-brand goods. Exceptionally good prices and quality for HyVee brands.

For the most part cusromer service is exceptional.....untill you check out. Cashiers here will miscount, not apply sale prices or coupons. Sometimes you wont even get a hi.

Love my Hy-Vee stores shelfs are always stocked if not store employees are stocking them, employees are always right there asking if they could help find what you need the stores are always clean cheap prices on alot of stuff..

Service is Good. Not the issue.I went to Hy-vee for breakfast and ordered: 2 eggs over easy, white toast, two pieces of bacon and a coffee. nearly $11.00 - tiny pieces of bread. and they are using medium eggs probably because they are the cheapest. I left hungry. Forgot my phone otherwise youd see the picture. Come On Hyvee stop raising your prices and offering food with less value. I know we all want to make money but sacrificing your local customer for huge corporate profits is wrong. I visit other Hyvee breakfast joints in other towns and I havent noticed this. Bring the fair amount of food back with a fair price - Please. This particular Hy-vee has outrageous prices in the isles also. Maybe the manager should visit Iowa City Hyvees and notice the much lower prices.

We just left or neighborhood Hy-Vee, quite possibly for the last time.At only 9:00 pm the floor buffer was already running (and its loud) and the guy moves so fast he has nearly collided with me on more than one occasion, the employees blocked our paths without apology while pulling racks of food/products for stocking - once even stopping directly in front of us to let the buffer pass.In the past these things were all done after hours when there were very few customers in the store, but now with reduced hours these things are being done while people are still making an attempt to shop. Would it be so hard to stock after the store closes, or at least start the buffer then?With the lack of helpful smile this is no longer the Hy-Vee we have such fond memories of. Its just another overpriced big box store with lousy service.

Hy vee has been a staple in the midwest for years. However they seem to have a problem keeping the shelves stocked with the greatest and latest 3 day sale! It would be nice to find what we are looking for!

Pharmacy is extremely slow. And the refills dont come in a bundle. 3 stops to pick up all of the familys meds? Not cool.

I always manage to find everything I need, and a bit more, at Hy-Vee. The wine and spirits is really fun to cruise through

Better Hy-Vee locations available around Town.Location seems to be slightly short-staffed most of the time & reorganize products location too often.I understand/get why they do it, but we all know that it is incredibly annoying & the reason in question itself is messed up (forcing shoppers to waste time looking for products to expose them to other stuff in the hopes that it will trigger an impulse buy).

Got dinner from Hy-Vee deli. Got bucket of chicken. Normally really good. Today it was over cooked and dried out. Totally not with charging money for. Which is a weird thing.

I love my local Hy-Vee! They are friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure I leave with a smile. Being able to pick up my groceries is also super helpful. I absolutely love the people who bring in the carts! They are so sweet and caring!!

I love the employees at this store. I always feel like they go above and beyond and clearly value customers more than profit! I mistakingly tried to use two weekly coupons that did not go into effect for another 2 days, without hesitation they honored them anyway! I also bought the wrong charging cord for my cell phone and didnt realize it until after i opened it. Totally my fault all the way around but i thought id ask if it could be exchanged stating i realize i opened it and was 💯 at fault, but they did allow me to exchange it which was awesome because I couldnt afford to buy another in its place at that time. I didnt mention that when asking if i could possibly exchange it because I was responsible for the whole situation. Even the bagging staff take the tine to smile and wave if they see me in the parking lot. Just makes it my favorite place to shop. Ive only been a customer there for a year and usually only there twice a month, yet they treat me like im family. Gotta say they all are exceptional at their jobs and this is one customer they made for life. Most stores have those few employees who rise above and beyond, but this the only store ive yet to see a single employee who didnt exceed my expectations, thats pretty awesome in my book!

Upon visit today I experienced poorly or not at all stocked shelves and one checkout lane with no baggers and when I pointed this out to a young employee he said the self checkout is over there. I expect a higher standard from hy vee Wilson Ave. Never experienced this before. I trust this experience will not be repeated.

I cant get over the smell. This seems to be a recurring theme with Hyvees in general but not other grocery stores I go to. Maybe the seafood at the meat counter? I dont know, I dont eat seafood but it sure makes me not make hunger purchases.I like this Hyvee because it is generally less busy than some of the other ones I go to. Their deli counter always seems clean.The gentleman at the bakery was very kind and send home two chocolate chip cookies when he heard my twin 4 year old grand daughters were visiting.

Hyvee always has amazing deals. When I visited today I went to the meat counter and the guy who helped me was amazing and quick. Everything else was easy to find. Only 4 stars cause self check out doesnt like fruit and vegetables😅

Its a Hy Vee. A bit overpriced for such union busting propaganda bastion, but good quality. The staff there are exceptionally cordial as at all Hy Vee stores where wages are too low to sustain life.

We went in for Chinese. I was happy with my food. My husbands meal was mediocre. They need to train the staff further on preparing the dishes. Customer service was adequate.

Corporate runs specials every week to get you in the door. In less your buying Hy-Vee brand items you can expect to pay far more for the national brands. Baked goods & cookies are far to expensive for the quantity thats packaged. Staff is always courteous and helpful.

Easy to navigate and large selection. The staff was helpful when I had trouble locating a specific item, pointed me right to it!

We ordered Aisles online yesterday and they had someone with the same name come and accidently gave them our order. They said they would have to re shop our order and call us in the morning to pick it up. Morning came and Noone called. At 11 I called and complained and the lady I spoke with was so apologetic. She went to see if my order was ready, it hadnt been shopped yet, so she delivered the water we needed right away, and because I had a dr appt at 11:30, she came back after my appointment to deliver the rest of our order. Made 2 trips to our home to deliver our order and make it right. Above and beyond. Her name was Kim. She was also so nice to my dog, who bombarded her at the door. And she helped me get the groceries in because I have lifting restrictions and it was too heavy for me. She was so wonderful. A perfectly reasonable HyVee, a lot like the others. Its a bit of a concern when the first picture on your page is someone wearing a mask wrong, but the store is ok ish.

My regular Hy-Vee, always very friendly. Most employees greet me when passing. I enjoy picking up lunch or groceries. Have attended special events and veterans meals.

2nd time I bought raspberries and they came all smashed with liquid creating a hole in the paper bag they put them in. Lucky everything else didnt fall out carrying it into the house.

Spacious. Great variety of items. Looking forward to the buffet returning after Covid. Staff always VERY helpful. A HUGE thanks to the Floral Dept for the arrangement they made with the flowers and vase Id chosen! It helped brighten my moms home for 2+ weeks while she is quarantined.

It was close to closing time and the lady didnt fully cash out the customer ahead of me and my bf and charged all of our stuff to the customer ahead of us card and was trying to give us money back when we didnt even pay yet. And then proceeded to re ring up our stuff and didnt even scan all of it. In the end we got half our groceries free but its still not good to do that. She should have voided everything and start fresh.

The Collins Road Hy-Vee is arranged nicely...if you go to the right when you come in the store you would end up with your fruits and veggies on the top of your grocery cart and frozen food fairly close to the top, which is where I like them to be.Most of the employees have that friendly smile in every aisle but some need some work on that. Otherwise, the only thing I have not been able to find is Oxyclean in the blue spray bottle.Store seems to be kept up quite well.

From scooters for those who need them to the cart people to the friendly smile in every third aisle its refreshing having helpful people around. They offer a delicious bakery with a free cookie for the kids, a free banana for kids while shopping, and even samples at the deli a person feels appreciated. Just about anything you want you can find in a variety of sizes. Did you want it organic or vegetarian? Yeah they got you covered there and possibly with a 10% discount (ask them for details). Too much shopping where you dont want to cook? Pick up a fresh pizza, Chinese food or American food to go. Groceries and dinner all in one spot, genius.

This stores bakery department lost our order on the day of our event. They offered no remedies, and the person seemingly in charge of the bakery department acted annoyed with us.

Always worth it !!! I fed my 4 kids from the array of options for 13$ and everyone got what they wanted. Thanks guys 😄

FRIENDLY store and always helpful except one stocker thats kinda skinny with glasses. He seems too busy to answer any questions. The rest of the employees are awesome. Prices are good and always have great sale prices. Love my Hy-Vee.

Three times this month I have encountered a condescending, no time for you employees that would not be a helpful smilein every aisle. Todays rude encounter had been the Customer Service desk.

Convenient grocery store but tha meat at far way is much better

They have great deals every day but we really like going on Wellness Wednesdays all wellness food is an additional 10% off and we stock up on our health food snacks

A good place but I find it expensive unless I have coupons or stick to the deals.

This is the only bad Hy-Vee Ive ever been to. Grocery pickup is useless at this location, go to any other location, and it will be substantially faster. Seriously, avoid this one Hyvee. They do not understand the value of time.

Hard to find somethings due to moving things around and your checkout people need to be taught how to sack groceries. Its not them I am talking about but management.

Just a nice well kept up store nothing fancy nice people nothing really crazy if you want to have a good experience Id suggest go here its not bad its just nothing that will wow you to me anyway.

Fast friendly service. Provides pick-up options, pizza, Chinese, other hot foods as well as a Salad bar.While there I recommend stopping at Starbucks located in store for a fresh drink to enjoy while shopping.
