Installed custom-stained( perfect!), sliding glass door.Dave Cook was our sales person; Lynn Hughes & team, installed. Immediately after installed, noted 8” residue mark, that was between glass. Dave Cook returned Mon., to show us how to pop glass panel off, & cleaned residue off, to our delight. Love our new door! Really changes the look of our room. Pella team was great to work with!

This is the third time we have purchased Pella windows from the Cedar Rapids store. We keep returning because of the quality windows and great installation team. Dave Cook did our order and explained the options The materials arrived one day prior to the installation, on schedule. Lynn and Kyle Hughes, and their great team of co workers did a great job on the installation and removal of the old windows. They were professional, organized and cleaned up so we didn’t really know they had been working. Our shrubs were protected. I would recommend Pella windows and the Hughes team.

We had every window on hour home (approx. 30 in total), the front door and the sliding door all replaced by Pella. Chad K. was great to work with and willing to do what was necessary to help us keep on budget. He made some recommendations on changes to the windows which were perfect for the look and style we were going for. And Ryan L. did an amazing job on installation. He was most respectful and he is clearly a craftsman - he added framing to all our windows and it looks great! We highly recommend Pella!

We had 2 Pella windows replaced due to derecho damage. (6x8 & 6 x10) Both were on the rear of house 2 stories up.Ryan Lane & Josh (subcontractors with 1st Choice Installers) removed the old windows and installed the replacement ones. Very happy with their work, knowledge & attention to detail.P.S. We have had a Pella door that has been a problem since we built our house 7 years ago. We have had numerous techs (from Pella) unsuccessfully try to make it work properly. Ryan Lane looked at it and made some adjustments that have the door working better than ever!We highly recommend Ryan and Josh:)

The installer Josh Mosman and his helper Adam were exceptional. They went about their work professionally replacing several windows in our home, protected our floors, cleaned up after themselves, addressed any questions I had, removed all the window labels and cleaned them all in a timely and efficient manner. Our regional sales manager, Jason Krizek, did a very good job of gathering all measurements, colors, details, entering the order, and setting up delivery of the windows that required replacement due to the Derecho damage. Ryan Lane and his team did a fantastic job of replacing the windows. You have to look hard to find any evidence that they were here. We have 3.5 trim on three sides with a 5 header on each window. To work on our windows cant be trivial.

Joe Petrick and team were the ultimate professionals. Did did a beautiful job and the place was spotless when finished. The whole process from the start was well communicated. Windows look great.I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The salesman Jason Krizek was very knowledgeable and professional! The day my door was coming there was a hang up with delivery but the installation team was great. Once the door arrived they were right back here to get the door installed all the same day. All of the installers know what to do and were very skilled at the task at hand. If youre looking for windows & doors, dont go with anyone else. We got a few quotes and ended up going with Pella and we couldnt be happier. Jason K got out here super fast (post derecho) and had us set up with an order for windows/doors quickly. Jason has been super responsive to any additional question Ive had and following up to make sure we were all set. Even better, they scheduled us for 2 days of installation and it only took a half day - Lynn and his crew of installers were super professional and FAST. No show-ed for sales appointment that I scheduled 2+ weeks in advanced and got 2 email reminders. When trying to figure out why, I called in, and the lady blamed it on their computer system and claimed they might not have known about it. Never apologized once for the no show. I decided not to reschedule.

Pella stood behind their warranty when several of our windows had a factory flaw. There were a few hiccups with the wrong pieces being sent on the service days, but they came back until the job was done right. Nick (technician) and Anne (service coordinator) went out of their way to make sure our job was completed in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. Thank you. He was punctual for our initial meeting, informative, knowledgeable and explained the cost breakdown for my entire project.The best part was for my windows, he brought wooden samples of what the stain would look like. We requested a home visit from a Pella sales rep in the Cedar Rapids office. He had no knowledge of the products and failed to tell us important info on the product we intended to purchase. He was also incredibly slow at responding to us in follow up with quotes. We ended up purchasing our Pella product through Lowes because he was so slow. The window turned out to be horrible- mostly wood, not window - and we spent way too much on it. If the sales rep had informed us of the product at all we would not have ordered this window. When I contacted the Cedar Rapids showroom about the sales rep that was no help, they completely blew me off. So much for the Pella Promise!The window has panes that fog (less than 2 years later) and they said they could help me with that at least. But, no call back about that either.This showroom and Pella customer service has been TERRIBLE!The window is not a window- its mostly wood. And it fogs up.We ordered Pella because its an Iowa company. Big mistake. They dont back their Pella Promise and they dont care if their products and customer service are poor.

Very poor customer service! I called almost 2 months ago to get a replacement for my doorhandle set on my Pella, French front door. (Needing a front door fixed is important Pella people)Didn’t hear back for a few weeks, so I called them again and got the same runaround that the service manager would get back to me. Didn’t hear back for another few weeks. Luckily I found someone who could fix it for 1/8 of the quote they just sent me today. Ridiculous! Will never recommend Pella as they don’t care about the product they sell nor the people they sell it to. Their service may be better if you’re buying a brand new door but not if you’re trying to keep the product you already bought from them.

I had 2 doors and a window installed by Lins crew last fall, and they were fabulous. The estimation process was great, and the estimator was helpful. And I love the Pella products. Im getting all of the rest of my windows replaced this coming fall.

Needed replacement door handle and they never returned my call. If it wasn’t for another location handling their calls I never would have got one ordered. Then they never called to tell me it was in and now I am her to pick it up and they are closed even though hours say open til 1 pm. So it has been I’ve 2 months trying to replace a handle that I still do not have. Frustrating

If I could give a lower rating I would. They blew me off for over a month and then wanted over 500.00 for a lock set. I couldnt do it. If anything where to be wrong with it I worry they would not take care of any problems in a timely fashion.

The windows are first rate, but the installation is the worst as far as getting it done. They made several appointments, but would cancel at the last minute. We were getting 2 windows put in to see how they would do because we have 10 other windows to put in. After they got started they left with 1 window half done and it took several weeks to get them out to get it finished. The 2nd window was mostly installed at the same time as the 1st one was finished up, but they were short a board to finish the job and said that they would come back in a week and finish. They called 3 weeks later and asked why we had not finished paying, we told them that they were not done and that we were told that they would be back in a couple of days. Three weeks later I called and they said the board came in and they would get back and install it. 8 weeks after it was suppose to be done the job is done. I think the biggest problem is their scheduling and follow up. It will be a long time before I would use this company

Their work was exceptional.Would we use Pella and the installers again? Yes, we are. We just ordered a new French door from Pella and Lynns crew will install the door.The single most amazing change, is how quiet our house is now. Have been trying to resolve an issue for weeks now. The lack of communication is frustrating. I called recently again to get an update on an install and the gentleman who answered my call told me that I need to be persistent because phone messages are not promptly returned by their office staff. I suggest you hire someone willing to do the job, rather than share with customers that your staff is sub par.

They dont answer the phone during business hours, nor do they return calls. Pella is a bogus company with poor business practices. Avoid.
