Really like this store. Do NOT enjoy looking at bird houses and having mice pop their heads out to look at me. We buy peanuts for our squirrels there and have seen some munching on the peanuts as well. ...can we get the mice population under control? π¬
Better go on pay day. Some sale items reasonable, but some of the prices will shock you. Everything seems to be of very high quality, well they say you get what you pay for.
Very clean, nice layout and a unbelievably huge selection of fishing gear, guns and accessories, beer, clothes and so much much more. Friendly, knowledgeable employees through out the store making customer service top notch. Stores half this size could learn a thing or two about providing quality customer service from Fleet Farm. It sure is refreshing to have employees eager to make sure you get what you need. So much better then employees all over the store stocking shelves making you feel like youre in there way!
They have pretty much everything. Unfortunately they dont currently have a large selection of reloading supplies but that isnt there fault. There staff is fairly well knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and the quality of the products is good.
A great store with a great selection of merchandise. Very clean with a helpful staff. Admittedly I dont think Im their target demographic, but I still found a lot of really cool stuff for great prices.
The store is very inviting. The staff friendly but the restrooms were deplorable. It looked as though they never finished painting 2 years ago. Not clean by any standard. Think of the old gas station bathrooms and thats how it looked. I was honestly surprised by this. Again the rest of the store was great.
Great products and nice store. But store is so big it is sometimes hard to find what I need (or an employee to assist me). There are times I just dont have time to wait for help and dont purchase everything I need.
The only thing I would suggest is either open more checkout lanes, or when calling to check people out at customer service, go with, next person in line, please. The guy hollered, you can check out at customer service, twice, and both times the person who came up behind me went. To alleviate problems and to expedite customer service, ask for NEXT person in line, as Fleet Farm is the business owner who is suppose to manage customer expectations. Other than that, great, I love Fleet Farm.
For those of you that are looking for ammo, Fleet Farm does have some. It varies but I did see some 9mm 115 grain, box of 50 for $17.95. They also had some .380 and .40, but that and everything else was pretty high priced.Sorry I didnt pay close attention to the available calibers since I was there to see if they had powder and primers for reloading. Of course they were sold out of both. They did have several bags of various calibers of brass, but it only po aid attention to the 30-06 and 30-30 which they did have. They have a lot of different caliber bullets but not in large quantity.Bottom line, they have some items so go by and check.
1st time here and they were soon closing so I most definitely will be going back to check out the whole store. Lots of cool things here
Great place but when it comes to clothes there arent many options in my opinion. I dont think Ive ever seen their shelves empty though. ππΌ
I was a vendor coming into Fleet Farm and we arent always met with a smile. I sure was here! Very happy to help locate what I needed. Everyone was very helpful and chatted a bit. Sure made this vendor a happy one and set my day off to a great one! (Not to mention the killer deal on shoes I got!) Thanks Fleet Farm!!
Despite it still being a fairly new store, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can get just about anything you need here from work clothes and outdoor gear to home goods and food and beer. Use your receipt next door for fuel savings at their gas station and leave with a clean vehicle after using the car wash!
First time there hard to find an entrance if youre coming in from the south. Very big was looking for specific item that they did not have. Even though it was on their ad
Went in for an oil change and the workers were dinking around. A guy got off of work and another one was working on something else. Then they didnβt have my filter and sent the last guy working to go pick one up. I would not recommend coming here if youβre wanting to be in and out in a half an hour.Then they talking about how they were out of everything. Definitely not coming back
Very helpful shift lead, I just wish if you have a product for sale that you actually had one on the shelf for me to buy.
I like the products they sell, and the prices are decent. I do not go here if I am unsure what I need. The staff is hard to find and generally not as knowledgeable as Menards. Over the last year, I have noticed they have reduced the amount of employees checking out customers. There is typically a 10 minute wait to check out. I do not like standing in line this long.
We sat in the yard for 30 minutes as the gentleman on the fork lift did not know what a cattle panel is. My husband knew what he wanted. They went to the office..another 20 min I 90 degree heat
Went for a tire repair. While waiting we did a little shopping. Found the 22 Magnum ammo that Ive been looking for. Added bonus... My tire repair was FREE!!!

My husband and I were in there yesterday looking for the fire pit that was on sale for $59.99. We were looking where all the other fire pits were, but couldnβt find it. So we went to Customer Service and wanted 2 - 3 minutes before anyone came. The guy behind us ended up leaving. The lady told us it was probably outside, which Iβm not sure why it wasnβt with the other fire pits. She gave us a ticket to go out back and someone would get it for us. We waited 5 minutes for her to find the gentleman in front of, which he left empty handed. Then we waited another 20 minutes for her to locate the fire pit. The gentleman working the gate came up and asked if everything was ok? My husband just said weβre waiting and his response was, βitβs a nice day.β Yes it was a very nice day but not to sit and wait on someone to find our fire pit. Only went there because of your ad, but after this experience we wonβt be back. Maybe have more than one person working or have your inventory organized better.
Huge store with a variety of everything. My son loves this place for clothes, hunting, and extras.

Love the store but I was just in there and there was a huge line. 12 registers and only 1 person working them! I donβt know who manages that but that should be one of the number one priorities! Switch up your staff or something and have somebody else help check out the poor girl is trying to check all those people out as fast as she could.....There should have been 3 checkers at least with that many people!!!!

Go elsewhere if you want customer service.Went there to buy some reloading supplies and ammo along with a new pair of Leupold binoculars that I have wanted for a while.The binoculars are in a locked case. No one was behind the counter. After waiting 20 mins I went and did other shopping and came back.Two people there now! Except one person was helping another customer and the other person could not open the locked case. Waited 15 mins then the guy who could open the case left and said he would be right back...It wasnt as if the counter was swamped. There was one other customer thereWell, 10 minutes later I gave up. Put the ammo and reloading supplies back and just bought the $20 worth of pet supplies I hadI spoke with the manager about it on my way out. While she apologized she did not even offer to walk back with me right then to help or do anything else to fix the situation. Just said she would talk to them. Whatever.I had planned on spending over $700 at that store today. Since nobody was able to help me spend my money I will take it down to Scheels and make my purchases there.45 minutes of my life wasted!I will not be returning to this store.**Update. Fleet Farm did reach out to me and after haggling they agreed to give me a 10% discount. I appreciated that and will give them another chance. Hopefully they will take the customer service concerns from the various reviews to heart. I wont return if this sort of thing happens again.
I needed to find a dog kennel, so of course I need to be able to make sure its the right size. I brought my dog in with me, and no one stopped me until a manager came up after several minutes of looking at the kennels saying pets arent allowed. He said it was fine for this time. Im really not upset, more just a tad annoyed that no one said anything until that point. If Id have known, Id go to Lowes or something. At least I was able to find one that suits my needs.
If there were more of these stores Walmart would be in trouble. They have everything your looking for. Hunt, Fish, Camp, Sport.
Newer building and a nice wide open atmosphere. From what I saw items were kinda pricey but over all it was pleasant. I had to return a coat for one size larger and they were friendly and prompt, and had no problem with me trading it in.
Hard to find knowledgeable help. When we did find one young lady a that knew what she was talking about, she set us to another store to get what we needed. That turn out to be very helpful
They have reasonably good prices, especially good for pet supplies (comparable to Chewy, Iβve found). However, they donβt even pretend to enforce a mask policy with customers β which I can understand, to protect employees from customers who may get angry if asked to wear a mask. But the employees donβt even wear masks, and if they do, they wear them improperly. I didnβt see a single employee wearing their mask correctly. In fact, when I asked my cashier to wear hers properly, she only covered her mouth with it.tl;dr - If you are concerned about the health and safety of yourself and your loved ones during a global pandemic, minimize the time and money you spend here.

The curbside pickup is strange. You drive through gardening and to a door itβs the back of the store. It was fine.
I get my tires balanced regularly, made an appointment, came in, waited two hours to get my tires balanced (which seemed long). Then when I left my car shook so violently I physically couldnt drive hwy speed.Went back, no apology to me, took another hour to test drive and rebalance. After which dude says ok, you can drive it nowWas not satisfied with how long it took.Was not satisfied with how I was treatedWas not satisfied with the job on my final drive homeAfternoon wasted.

Seems to be always out of what I need and twice Ive went in for ad specials and they were out. One of the times the employee told me they never even got that item in yet. Ive had a handful of bad experiences here and have decided to never step foot in that place again. From out of stock to employee telling me Ill never find a tiller anywhere when 3 other places down the road had them to 1hr 15min and 3 employees later to mix a gallon of paint. Place is a joke or I have really bad luck going there. Lol

Becky was not pleasant for a manager. Katelyn and Logan went above and beyond to assist the customers. Katelyn had 20 plus customers in her line and was under a lot of pressure and stress. She handled it very well. These two should be given a raise . They do a great job for your company when your manager could not perform the functions necessary.

Ive tried on three different occasions to buy something there. Lol. Each time I spend way too much time trying to find someone to help me find something that is actually in stoc, supposedly. When I finally find an employee, theyve not been able to find the items in the store Theyre all helpful, but walked away three times with nothing but an apology. Third strike. Well never be back.

Has got to be the absolute worst online pick up service offered, order put in at 1230, 3 items by the way.. called to see what was going on at 745pm, 7hr 15 min later still nothing, every time. Ive ordered online with farm fleet many times and its always like this. Not this time. Canceled my order and Im done with it. Hell every other time all my order couldnt be filled anyways..

Probably my favorite store in town now. Pretty much a one-stop-shop for all the daily needs and more! Guns, automotive, hardware, groceries, snacks, toys, clothes, boots/shoes... They have the best firearms section of any store in CR. The staff are always cheerful and smiling (even under their masks), and are always willing to lend a hand! They will be receiving the majority of my furure business.
Usually good, still out of 99% of the usual ammo and all out of kerosene for months. Found some great fishing lures though!
We came here for a basketball hoop but left empty handed.Customer service was friendly and helped point is on the right direction. We couldnt find the hoop we wanted in the mess of the outdoor section and the floor employees where non-existent.Even the basketball systems we found had been poorly stacked on a pallet and most where crushed under heavier products.Nice looking store thats obviously grossly understaffed. Dont think well bother coming back again.

Most of the products here are over priced in comparison to Thiesens, Lowes, and Home Depot. Not a big fan of this place. If the staff did not charge me $10 for a $10 off gift card I might shop here again. I was told the gift card was free for the next purchase (bought $250.00 worth of Hills Science Diet for my four animals), sooo? Why was I charged $10.00?. That is not an upsell... That is shady business.
Fleet Farm has been a bad experience on a regular basis for our Family. Big new buildings do not relate to accurate inventory, sale adds with items you can actually purchase, and last night even rude check out . we give up.
From first impressions, it seemed really nice. The store is huge and well organized. Main issue, no one wears masks including the employees. Itβs frustrating as weβre still in a pandemic. If customers donβt want to wear then thats their issue. However I find it unacceptable that the employees dont wear one. Probably wont be back for awhile..
Went into the store for 2 things this morning. Online it showed both in stock, no one who worked there could find either thing in their department. DO NOT trust their website, seems like they just want to get you in the store to buy chocolate covered candy, not any real tools.
I have went in the store 5 time to purchase a gun. 5 times and they have been too happy talking to one another to sell a gun in the case. I will find another store. Too bad I live only a couple miles away. I use to buy other things there but I guess no more.

Ordered a product online for Black Friday. Waited 2 days for associates to complete my order. Eventually I got an email saying my order could not be fulfilled. No problem. I went online and Fleet Farm still shows product available? Is it or isnt it?
Waiter 1.5 hrs outside to pick up my order after they said it was ready. Everyone disappeared. Finally flagged someone down and asked for a manager. Waited another half hour. They never showed. Wont be back. Terrible customer service.
Alway helpful staff. Had to locate an item myself, before I purchased itThere staff back there was great help. I advised I could wait as they where busy. Helped me load my items.They could use a a scan system in there yard to help employees better.
Long story short DONT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR AN ALIGNMENT. Took mine it was there for almost a full day and when they said it was done they told me they did the best they could and it would need an alignment from somewhere else. Reported it to the manager and also the company and never heard a thing. I also had to pay full price for my alignment that they didnt complete but they wouldnt release the car without full payment. Horrible place.

The worst place Ive ever shopped at that I can remember. Ive tried shopping there several times since they opened and had just awful experiences each time. No customer service at all and they rarely have things stocked. I thought maybe I just caught the staff at bad times before but today was my worst experience ever. I cant see myself ever shopping there again. I thought Menards customer service was bad but compared to this place, Menards is actually good! I dont usually bother posting bad reviews but this place is just so terrible!

They open at 7am which is great. However if you need customer assistance it is hard to find at that time. If you know what you want and where to find it all is good. However if you are stopping say b4 work and need help, my suggestion is dont go at that hour.
First time purchase at the Farm Fleet in Cedar Rapids, IA, purchased a King Kutter 72-in Yellow Flex-Hitch Domed Deck Rotary Kutter, disappointed in the appearance of the equipment, very dirty due to the storage element it was in (outside), a lot of rust coming through the paint and deep scratches on the gear box probably to moving it around with no care. Bought this on-line curbside pickup (avoiding being around people due to the current pandemic), received an email that itβs ready to pickup, got to the outside yard entrance, wasnβt ready, buried behind 30 pallets on soil, took Gayle Dreager (Freight team lead) and Lori Snyder ( e-com associate) a fair amount of time to move, they contacted Becky Orlikowski ( assistant manager) to view my disappointment, her reply was a $25 gift card with a no show, Josh Smith (General Manager), take note of your performance and attention to detail of a $1,550.00 new purchase, highly unlikely would I recommend to anyone looking to purchase equipment from Farm Fleet in Cedar Rapids, IA. When receiving an email itβs ready for pickup, make it painless as possible and attempt the clean up the equipment that was purchased!!
