Almost Famous...WOW!! The best popcorn experience one could have. The staff is amazing. The young lady was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. If customer service is your thing...this is the spot. A quick stop turned into 4 bags an hour later. If you cant find a flavor order a new tongue.

Took a nice walk to get some ice cream. I got the waffle cone with two scoops. One scoop of cookie dough and one scoop of malt amore. It was delicious. 🍦It was my first visit but definitely not my last. $5.87 but worth the price.

Holy cow! You have no idea what youve been missing if you havent had their popcorn! We got their popcorn for our wedding guests for a late night snack. Everyone LOVED it. They were great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. I 100% recommend. We loved doing their sample box to decide flavors. Such a fun and unique idea!

We had Almost Famous Popcorn at our wedding and it was a hit!! They had so many different flavors to choose from and each of them was so delicious! We set up a whole little popcorn bar at our reception and people loved it. Guests were asking if they could buy the extra bags at the end of the night! Highly recommend getting our own popcorn bar for any event you have coming up!

Absolutely excellent. I live in New York so Ive never visited the actual store but the popcorn is amazing even when shipped. I work for a promotional products company and saw the popcorn on one of my bosses desks. It looked so good I placed an order for myself.It comes packaged perfectly and the flavors are out of this world. I chose the famous mix, Mr cheese and salted bourbon caramel. The popcorn is so crispy and the flavors are amazing. Going to tell my boss that we should partner up with you immediately, the packaging was immaculate. Amazing for corporate gifts or as a treat for yourself, will be ordering again soon. Do you do logo drops if we want to personalize gifts for customers? Very good popcorn BUT beware if you have a gluten allergy the bags say gluten free when If you look at the ingredients list it says it contains wheat/ whey. A family member got sick before of this.

We have loved Almost Famous from the beginning! We constantly crave their delicious popcorn and creamy ice cream. We recently got married and our Almost Famous popcorn bar was an absolute hit!! Almost Famous was super easy to work with and made for an amazing addition to our big day! Our guests all raved about the popcorn all night and days after. We would highly recommend using this great local, family owned business for your next event, gift or afternoon snack.

The sign on the door says only six customers in the store at a time for “everyone’s safety” yet there are currently 10 people in the store (5 without masks—isn’t there a mask mandate in CR?). Four people are sitting inside on the window ledge and eating! Unbelievable. We have a family of six...we’ll take our business elsewhere!

Ive become an overnight fan of this company. Where can you find a local, family owned company like this, that puts such incredible passion into producing amazing gourmet popcorn? The options are endless...from traditional to insanely unique. Picked up 4 bags (one was a gift for someone). The staff I met was so personable and helpful. You have to give then a try, youll be hooked!!

Fantastic popcorn, and the staff is so nice and helpful. The Lemon Cookie popcorn is ridiculously good and Ive never had anything quite like it. They have an amazing mix of sweet and savory types of popcorn, and a little something for everyone. I look forward to trying more kinds but the Parmesan Garlic, Lemon Cookie and Pizza Roll are my current favorites.

I am allergic to lactose but my spouse and 2 others absolutely rave about their ice cream (which makes me almost weep because I cant eat any). Their popcorn is excellent and I really enjoying all my trips to the New Bo area!

Everything here is fantastic. My whole family enjoys getting the ice cream, there is a lot of variety in the flavors they have. The popcorn is amazing as well. My favorite flavor of popcorn is the Crunchberry Day, what a treat. The staff is always very friendly and helpful!

Almost Famous is a fabulous locally owned business. Ive used them many times for both business and personal events. For my sons fourth birthday I requested Toy Story colored popcorn- Bill & his team knocked it out of the park! It was so perfectly colored and delicious! Each flavor weve had has been so tasty! We will continue to use them every time we have a need!

Great atmosphere. Smells good. Lots of free samples. I bought a bag of the mix of almost all kinds of popcorn. Definitely a treat for my tastebuds! Some of the sodas have hilarious names and flavors. Ice cream is always fresh. Couple conversations with the owner- what an amazing person!

My favorite go to. My son and I are both lactose sensitive. This ice cream is so pure we dont even have digestive issues after eating a one scoop, which is WAY MORE than one scoop!!! And the warm homemade popcorn is out of this world!!!!

This is a wonderful place full of all my wifes and my weaknesses: popcorn, pop, and ice cream. Everything is good including the service. Free samples on ice cream and popcorn varieties. If I had one complaint itd be that prices seem a bit high but not completely out of line if youre only going to occasionally indulge.

The ice cream was absolutely fabulous but the sodas were all nasty flavors like Bug Guts and whatever. The popcorn was very expensive ($10 for a medium sized bag) and the flavors were good but so strong that we ate a little bit of it and threw the rest away. What a waste! But like I said, the ice cream was delicious!

We purchased popcorn from Great American Popcorn for our wedding back in November 2017, and our experience was great from start to finish. Bill was extremely friendly, worked with our budget, and communicated very well on timelines. The popcorn was gone within an hour or so at our wedding, and people were raving about it! No matter what your event or purpose for purchasing popcorn, we would highly recommend Great American Popcorn!

I LOVE this place. The popcorn choice are endless and I really like the different flavors of root beer. I am a big root beer fan and I try a new flavor each time I go.

The ice cream is ridiculously good. Zanzibar + cookie dough = heaven on a cone. Its difficult to find a good hard scoop ice cream shop anymore. Soft serve has its place, but theres nothing like a rich, creamy scoop of real ice cream. I wish they had kid scoops, but oh well, no biggy. The warm popcorn is crazy good too...theyll make a Chicago Mix for you :-)

Love the cheese over caramel, unfortunately its always so inconsistent. It should be named a touch of cheese over a little caramel. Sometimes its very cheesy but usually its pretty skimpy on the cheese and caramel. I go every weekend but sometimes leave empty handed due to the inconsistency. I would have thought they had a recipe they followed when making it but it seems like someone just guessing when they throw it together.
