Dan the manager at this Fareway store take awesome care of my grandma, Barb! Since the pandemic, she has been ordering groceries by phone for curbside pickup whenever my mom or I cant get her groceries for her. He always remembers which kind of items she orders...and he will even remember that she likes to treat herself to a Danish from the bakery, if she forgets! I feel like she is pretty spoiled - and Dan and his team offer excellent customer service. Totally above and beyond, and our whole family appreciates it (especially Grandma).

It was ok,Its hard with new people ..miss the old ones. The fruit and vegs.are not as fresh looking. Change is hard.

The best place ever. Costumer friendly (extra friendly will say). Great fresh meat, poultry and pork selection. Fabulous bakery. Good wine and spirits selection. Will miss it when I go back home...

No loud music or ads blaring at you all thetime you are there. Very nice 😊had items in smaller quantities for us single people like pickles and spaghetti sauce. Workers were all very nice as well. Thank you for having the wipes and a wastebasket when you come in to clean your cart or basket.

I had just a couple of items to pick up and also take advantage of a diet soda sale. The store was immaculate and store personal were very friendly. Checkout was quick even throwing in a lottery ticket purchase. The carry out service is nice addition. This is a great place to shop.

The Best bakery in town....

Fareway is almost always the best spot to get the freshest meat in town. They have plenty of other grocery options as well, but the butchery is what really sets it apart from all the other grocery stores in the area. Its a great place to shop with friendly and helpful staff. If you are planing to grill out, then you will want to come here.

Excellent customer service brings me back to this store time and time again. I love the small store atmosphere, where the employees are truly happy to assist you.The meat counter is outstanding! You order is always custom cut and wrapped. They offer a variety of meat bundles that save you a lot of money.I love Fareway carry out service. That is something you just dont see in big box stores. This service is a special touch and much appreciated.I love that Fareway believes that family is important! Sunday is family day for all employees!

Id give this 4.5 stars if I could! Very friendly service throughout the store, great sales, and displays were well placed with the best deals :) The only reason I wouldnt give them 5 stars would be that the prices are not always the best for certain items- though somewhat understandable for a relatively small, local neighborhood grocery store. Also is much more friendly and well displayed than the one on the other side of town that I live closer to. Will definitely return! :)

I recently had an experience where fareway would not honor Hy Vee prices. They say they honor other grocery store prices but failed to match Hy Vee price on strawberries today.

A great place to shop for fresh vegetables, fresh high quality meats. Staff is pleasant and always willing to help you with a great shopping experience. Low prices keep me coming back.

I appreciate Fareway stores. Their meat counter is tops 👍 and they often have really good sales on specific items. Todays was Birds Eye frozen vegetables for $1 a bag. I also was able to get canned apricots, which neither HyVee nor Walmart had on their shelves.

Really clean store. Three years old, but still looks new. Wide aisles, great selection. This store has a real bakery. Management is very friendly. Very well lit.

Wonderful change of pace from the mega marts! Friendly employees, clean restrooms, nicely organized store. Many competitors ad prices are already met (signage below item) & though more expensive then Aldi on some items there are plenty of great bargains to be found. Quick check outs & theyll even take your groceries out to the car for you. Reminds me of grocery stores from when I was growing up in the 70s.Store brand 2 soda & chips are quite good & though Ive yet to get anything from the bakery, it entices me every time I go in.

Love Fareway. Produce is best in town and Lyndsay is always super friendly and helpful as is whole staff. Rachael, Karen, Brooklyn and all of the guys up front. Meat department is awesome too. Like everything about Fareway except for when I forget they are closed on Sundays.

Great store! They have the freshest meat in town and they freezer wrap it for you for free! They are very friendly and even take your groceries out and put them in the car for you!

Always a good selection and great quality throughout the store and especially so in the deli. They get me about half the time with the packs of fresh cookies for $1 at the cash registers though.

Awesome new remodeled Fareway, sticking to the same as usual with fresh produce, a meat department that is unmatched by any other grocery store and great customer service. Also features a newly added bakery, always plenty of people on hand so no long lines or waiting to check out.

The meat counter is great. Produce can be hit or miss. Everything else is comparable to most other grocery stores with maybe a few less brand choices than the larger stores, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Didnt have everything I wanted, but the service was great. Nice store atmosphere and friendly staff.

Please read the whole review!!!!!While I love the Fareway Grocery Store Chain, this Fareway suffers from poor staffing and management. You can wait up to 21 minutes (timed) to get pop cans exchanged for cash and people on break (and even after!) wont even get up for a few seconds to let staff know that someone needs service. And this is a common problem, not a one time thing. And no, not one person was ahead in line!Staff are never cheerful and they reach down to a different older pile of meat when you get your ground hamburger. Its one thing if it was from the back, its another that its not even from the display and is turning brown on its own (Raw meat brown not red!? Sheesh!). They wont even let you pick your own meat out at times from the front of the display.You will be looking at magazines in a roughly 5ft wide isle and be standing 18 or so from the magazines, with a wide clear path behind you, but the manager himself will cut in front of you while you are browsing. Very rude!There is a young guy that works with short hair and glasses that always goes ahead of you no matter what when coming down an isle and YOU have to sidestep him. Then he acts like you are in the way despite you being the customer. So much of the customer always coming 1st!There is one staff that IS helpful, and thats an older Irish American gentleman that brings groceries to your car. I must say, he is the ONE exception to the store. A true gentleman!These are a few things that I could think of on a long list of things need to change, starting at the management level. Note that this is NOT AT ALL a typical Fareway experience. For a more helpful store, check out the one in Marion. That gets a full five of five stars!

Love this store. Great in-store bakery items and meat dept. Much cheaper then Hy-Vee and Target. Dont have to spend 45 min. To get grocery shopping done like Walmart.

Fareway is such a friendly grocery store. I have found the service to be courteous and prompt. When asked why I shop there over Hy-vee my answers were that it isnt as huge (less walking from one side to the other and back again) and the employees walk you out to your car with your bags or cart. This really helps when I have my baby boy with me!

Good prices and selection, nice employees. They literally wont let you take your cart to your car unattended (which is strange at first, but you get used to it). Its the kind of store regular folks go to. Its somewhere in the middle, between a high-end store like Hy-Vee (with fancy cheeses and overpriced everything) and a no-frills store like Aldi (with great prices but very limited stock and selection). Fareway is my go-to grocery store!
