I used to shop at Home Depot all the time and loved it! However, in the last few years the store has really gone down hill. While we have had some problems in the last couple of years, our most recent experience was the worst. I ordered a shed over then phone to be picked up in store. (The availability was unknown so I called the store). I paid for the shed and went to pick it up. I live about 100 miles away from the nearest store, so it’s quite a trip. Since the shed was supposed to be in multiple boxes I was shocked to get there and find a single decrepit, broken down box. I was told customer service was supposed to contact me about it the night before. They didn’t contact me that night nor the next morning, before I drove all the way there. The box was as shown in the picture. Customer service didn’t know what pieces were there or what was missing. They wanted to give me a $50 discount on an $950 purchase to make up for it! What am I supposed to do with half a shed kit? I was refunded the whole purchase price, but I’m still upset that no one told about the shed being in such bad shape. Apparently it was a customer order that was never picked up from a year ago and had been sitting out in the weather, before being moved to the junk pile to go to the trash. Very disappointed in the customer service and the lack of caring! Oh and that’s an extremely warped door panel visible in the picture. It was certainly not going to close!

I called in looking for a very large ceramic pot for my overgrown houseplant. I spoke to a woman named Cora in the garden shop. She was so very sweet and very service oriented!!! She spent a lot of time with me asking questions and such. She looked indoors and outdoors for that pot!!! If I was hiring someone for my company,,,, she would be the one!!! Thank you so much Cora!!! Wee couldnt find exactly what we needed. On the app it showed it was at home depot but guess not. But I still like home depot! The people there are really nice though! And really helpful!

Well stocked, great customer service, clean, and staff are helpful. I bought a couple mums that died within about two weeks and was able to take the corpses back (proof of death) and exchange for living mums. The only odd thing is that this Home Depot location is set up more like a Lowes floorplan than a standard Home Depot and it throws me off every time. I know the Home Depot Floor plan like the back of my hand and so when Im here I wander semi lost trying to find what should be where it is normally.

This is a special shout-out to Mark. I was just passing through Cedar City and I came in looking for a couple bolts and screws a few days ago, and he helped me for about 20 minutes to find the correct fasteners. Never got frustrated, made sure I had what I needed, and was very pleasant. I was very thankful for that and I enjoyed his company while I was there. Thank you Mark!

Saturday morning, 6:15am, called to make sure someone was there that could mix paint. Young man was courteous, mixed my paint, and shook 2 qt cans I had for trim! Excellent service!

I am concerned, Home Depot is now asking for Veteran ID card now when a few years they wouldnt give a military discount if you didnt register a phone number.I asked about it and they claimed it protects Veterans.I am Disturbed they profile Veterans asking for there ID and not to none veterans. They feel protecting veterans means to take away some of the same freedoms we fought for.

This is a good Home Depot with friendly staff. They have most of what you’re looking for. Not all items are available in store but they keep a good selection.

I recently used Cedar City Home Depot to try replace flooring in my home. It should have been a simple process to install Pergo laminate flooring and carpet. The problems started when an unknown employee (no one could ever tell me who did this) just put a random carpet name and random carpet pad on the order form, this caused the price to be wrong and the wrong product to be ordered. When we went in the store and picked the correct items, the store employee didn’t write it clearly, then the acting store manger didn’t know anything about it and couldn’t fix it, the expediter called and didn’t have notes from when we were in the store picking the correct carpet and said the underpayment the manager told us was for hard surface flooring not carpet. Three days of calls and this is still not correct and this is still not correct. Nothing but frustrating calls. No one in this store seems competent to deal with flooring. Wish I had went with a different store. Horrible, horrible experience.

If you can find someone to help you they are well stocked. I do understand the labor shortages.

Two stars because were holding out hope! Went to Home Depot in Cedar City and found a small patio set for my husband for fathers day. It turns out that it was out of stock but I was assured that two were on the truck due for the next day, so I purchased one. I was told to come back in two days so they had time to get it through their receiving process. I went back in two days and was told it had to be pulled and to come back in an hour. After about 15 minutes they called me and said that they had pulled the box and it was damaged. I asked about the other one (they had 2 coming) and they said it was sold to somebody else; I couldnt have it. I was then told that there should be 4 more coming two days from then. They would have one with my name on it. Well, I went back today to pick it up and after the young lady searched her computer for several minutes, I was told at the service desk to come back in an hour so it could be pulled. I was given directions on where to go to get it loaded, and how the process worked. When I returned, I was greeted by a supervisor who told me that they were out of stock, and would not tell me how long they had been out of stock. She said that they are expecting four more, but not for at least 2 weeks, and there was nothing she could do. So now the money is spent and my husband will get a photo on fathers day of what might be coming in a couple weeks, maybe? Very poor customer service. The words theres nothing I can do just keep running through my mind. It seems like they could do something, if they wanted to.

Home Depot is no longer what they use to be. Dont lose your receipt especially if you pay cash because they will not give you a refund or exchange. They will not even put it on a gift card. I found out that Lowes was much cheaper also. I know that there is not a Lowes in Cedar, but you can get many things available at HD, at Walmart. Maybe we can try to get them to build a Lowes in Cedar.

Every day I keep wishing for a Lowes. Home Depot is one of the most hypocrital corporations. They are the epitome of greedy corporations preying upon their customers, while at the same time pretending to be loyal to their customers. Cant stand this company.

Woman at the register wouldnt take my Military ID card without providing security information ( Email, Adress, Telephone number ect ) [ I prefer not to give out personally identifiable Information to companies with no IT infastructure ] I wanted a quick in and out but had to wait an additional 30 minutes for a manager to give me the discount the cashier refused. This is how they treat Veterans, 21 year retired. Completely Unsat. Veterans spend your money elsewhere.

Its a good store; however, its difficult to find help there. I dont know if they are understaffed during this pandemic or what, but I have had employees pass me by and never got greeted or asked if I needed help.

The garden center employee said I could return flower arrangements in nice pots if it turned out I didnt like them, just keep your receipt. 3 days later I try to return them. The woman at returns says, just so you know were just going to throw those away. Its cross pollination so we throw them away. Talk about a guilt trip. I should have been told they would be thrown away and that Id get a bonus guilt trip. They werent planted, just nice pots set out so shouldnt be a cross pollination issue. The guilt trip was great fun. Be that horrible person that just wasted these flowers. So now I have these potted flowers that look sllly.

A lot of good workers in the store who are willing to help. Theyre just hard to come by when its busy. Good place to get wood and flowers but not much else.

This is a good Home Depot and I enjoy shopping at this location. Everyone is friendly and the store is well organized and clean.

Easily found what we were looking for quickly. Fast check out which is rare. One thing though they need more people in each dept knowledgeable of what your looking for. 👍

They didnt even have replacement pole saw blades in spring but they sell pole saws. They didnt have a watertight tote. They dont have chainsaw bar nuts, which if you ever do a lot of cutting they get lost of warn down. They also dont keep stock of modular recepticals. I couldnt do most of the maintanance and repairs I needed to do. I also couldnt find anyone to help me in this store. The one person I did find had little interest in helping. There was only one employee I didnt know her name that was helpful and kind.

Young lady was helpful but we were told it would be in on 15th & still NO washing machine!! Its frustrating & annoying. When called I was told it was to have been to their warehouse the 6th but couldnt confirm it because it wasnt checked in. In other words, it could have been sitting there for 2 weeks now but someone has yet to do their job of checking it into the system.Moral of the story? Dont get appliances from Home Depot 😔

Someone stole my bag at self checkout, i was clear to my truck and unloading basket when i realized a bag was missing. When i went back in store they verified bag was stolen and replaced my missing items for free. The lady at self cbeckout was amazing in helping me, and i found out that the Home Depot here is very pet friendly!

Service is very good. 5 stars. every employee is very helpful. but the fact that wearing a mask is not mandated and about 70 percent of the people here are not wearing one is just crazy.

This is a great store for doing fixing, and remodel. There are Very helpful employees for the most part. The checkout in the garden center is Very convenient, and the appliance people were very helpful, with telling us about sales happening soon. Plus the best way to have things delivered to our house.

There is not one person at Home Depot in Cedar city Utah that isnt friendly, courteous, helpful, professional. I had a problem with the delivery that I received from Home Depot, which by the way was not the problem of Home Depot it was the delivery company and that particular company would not help me so the girls at the desk offered to personally come out and pick this item up and take it down and have it shipped back for me. You just dont get that kind of help in any other company! I wish I could remember all of the girls names at the desk I recognize them because theyre amazing memories a little short these days but I love every one at Home Depot. I worked there for six years in Arizona and my son worked in Cedar city for five, its also the best place on the planet to work. The camaraderie and the loyalty of this company is beyond anything Ive ever experienced. God bless you Home Depot. From appliances the desk the management, even the garden department was willing to help me ! Departments that really had nothing to do with my problem came in and tried to help now where else will you find that. God bless you and thank you I will always be a committed shopper and loyal to Home Depot. We bought a tub in July. But because we had just moved in, had to replace the carpet, had to install a fence and had a baby, we couldnt get it installed until February. We opened up the box and the plexiglass was shattered on one side. The box had no damage which means that the damage happened before we bought it. We contacted Home Depot to see about an exchange. But because it was past the 180 days all they were willing to do was offer. A $100 credit toward buying a new tub. This was a jetted tub. So they sell is a broken tub and all they can do is give us a discount on buying a new one?! I have never seen such horrible customer service in my life. We have spent thousands of dollars there and have never had any performs. The one time there is an issue they cant help us. This is ridiculous. We will never be back in that store or any home Depot. It is worth the extra 45 minute drive to go to Lowes. I just regret giving them so much business in the past.

If you’re willing to pay premium prices it’s a great one stop shop for home improvement projects. While the local specialty stores are generally more affordable, the convenience of having everything under one roof and the convenient hours make it nice.

Went shopping for a RV water filter. They have a small selection but I found what I needed. I did have to inform the store manager to tell the employees to wash there hands after using the restroom.

Great costumer service! Every employee there was kind and willing to help. Even just walking down an aisle the employees would greet us. The atmosphere and store itself is clean welcoming.

Horrible service. Don’t bother to call and ask if they have a product. They’ll say they do and when you drive 50 miles to get there you’ll find they don’t have and just can’t figure out why you were told they did. Don’t buy anything that is packaged without going through it. If something is returned it seems employees will just put it back on the shelf without checking it. But of course they say how sorry they are. Do yourself a favor and go to a real hardware store if you can find one.

It is quite a relief to know whichever location I go to, I can quickly make it to the area I need without the guesswork.

Dont use their pro contractors, was given 2 different contractors names and was told to only use a specific one because the other one would rip me off. I called the guy and he woild not come out until I agreed to use him. He wanted me to do all the measurements and then gave me a price between 6 and 8 thousand for 90 feetoff simple chain link fence. Very shady.

Yesterday, I was looking for a cordless drill. A young man named Jacob (or Jakob?) helped me through the process. Together we compared the specs on several models, and Jacob was very patient and helpful. He used the Internet to find some of the information we needed, and stayed right with me until I got the model right for my needs. Good job, Jacob!

This old lady didnt even ask and they quickly asked if I wanted help getting my 12 cement blocks! 😁 John at the Pro desk found a cart, a ladder, and a strong young woman to help him get them down and load them, took them out front for me, and found 2 more strong young men to load them in my truck. THAT is why I keep coming back here!

Very sexist employees discriminating against me because I am a young female. I asked an employee in the lumber area to cut a board for me. I am generally a chipper person and asked very politely. The employee outright rolled his eyes at me. It was absurd. When I got home I realized he didn’t even cut the board to the length I clearly requested but I guess he was too busy rolling his eyes to hear me. Home Depot, you’re asking for a lawsuit.
