DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!Bought a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer from Donnell at the end of July 2016. I purchased the 6 month/6000 mile warranty for the vehicle as well. As November 2016, I have paid $3,400 for repairs, not including the $255 Donnell paid for a repair. None of these repairs were covered by the warranty I purchased. And the vehicle still needs $900 worth of work.Needless to say, I would not trust their word or their mechanic. If purchasing a vehicle from them, I would highly recommend taking it to a reputable auto repair shop and having it fully inspected.Update:I have now spent over $5000 to fix all the problems on the trailblazer I bought.
My daughter saved and saved her money excited to buy her first car. She found a 99 Subaru that allegedly had a new transmission, the miles listed on the vehicle were 7,700. Truly this car has well over 200k miles. She paid cash and yes, the vehicle was As is. She test drove the vehicle for at least 20 minutes and everything seemed fine. She and my step dad drove back from Castle Rock to Colorado springs only to find the car had begun over heating and spewing antifreeze. So we replaced the radiator, thermostat, hoses, and clamps. To the tune of $800.00. upon replacing all of these parts the car is still behaving the same. Took it to two reputable mechanics only to find the head gaskets are blown. Now were looking at 3400.00 repair. This is now two thousand dollars over the sales price. Mind you, weve had the car approximately 5 days at this point. We called Flash Motors and spoke to an extremely rude and nasty woman who refused to identify herself to me (she apparently did give her name to others in our camp that called her) who claimed nothing is wrong with the car and its working fine. I question the validity of her claim based 90% on the fact that while replacing the radiator we found metallic flakes in the fluid. So they used a radiator treatment for leaks (which proves they knew they were selling a lemon). We all took our turns calling this nasty woman who identifies as the wife of the owner.. making her an owner as well. She finally puts her hilly Billy husband on with us.. who hung up in our faces because... If youre not willing to wait on my call back Im not helping you slaming the phone in my moms ear. Also keeping in mind... Weve been calling since the day we brought this lemon home. Every single time we called and spoke to her.. shed say, hes at an auction Ill have him call you back. Every single time we spoke to him.. hed say (literally) Ill call you back in two hours. This went on for days. A ploy to waste time I have no doubts. This is hands down the worst car buying experience of our lives. If you care about your money or the vehicle you purchase. Do NOT purchase from Flash Auto Sales. If I were officially in charge of shutting the down.. it would be done. Do not buy from hear subhumans. They go to auction and stick everyone elses problems on you. Dont buy a lemon if your looking for a car. This is simply a lemonade stand.
Be very aware of what you buy! Get your own mechanic to look at it and do not trust what their mechanic says! Especially when it comes to imports, specifically BMW. I ended up taking a big loss, the vehicle broke down within 2 weeks and needed $4000 in repairs. The same repairs that we brought to their attention before buying and were assured it was a clean one, their mechanic said the oil plug was just loose and it was not leaking oil and valves were good. Not so much! Leaking oil, valves were gone and other numerous things were bad! Already out $4000, I cannot afford to put another penny into this car and had to go elsewhere for a reliable winter car. They pick up a lot of junk at these auctions, make sure you know what youre getting! Unfortunately I will not be going back there!
Flash auto sales in Castle Rock DOES NOT sell quality used cars. My grand-daughter who just bought her very first car, a 1999 Subaru Legacy from Flash auto who happily took her hard earned money. My husband has called this so called gentlemen several times and he always indicates he will call back which he hasnt. I just spoke to the owner who told me that if I did not take his call at his convenience he would do nothing to assist in rectifying the fact that he sold her a car that he knew would not work. The head gasket blew in the car the day she brought it home from Castle Rock to Colorado Springs. While he was talking to me on the phone in what I feel was a threatening manner he indicated the car had over 200K miles on it and that she signed the buy as is paper work and that he would NOT assist at all. I agree she did sign the paperwork but you would expect the car to work more than 10 hours. I would never recommend this business as one to work with after this experienceIf you VALUE your money and need a car this is not the place to look
So I found a car online that I liked and inquired on it. It was listed at 9462. It was advertised with carfax! On the carfax it was listed as a carfax based retail at 7610. I called the store since I got only one response from my text which was a link to the original ad. The woman was very nice and candid about how they priced. She said they used an algorithm ( Im paraphrasing) and that nada was 8400.I get it. Stores need to make a profit. But the lack of customer service was appalling. I wasnt surprised to see that a one star review is commonplace for flash auto sales. I got a response from my text as to why it was so high which said essentially: ok. Itll be here if you want to test drive it.I replied, ok?The response I got was ok you dont have to buy it.This is pretty funny, except when you are looking to buy something. It truly lacks professionalism and I guess I expect it.Learn how to respond to customers. Im not a bubble wrapped millennial here. Show some respect. I guess your business is so good that you dont need mine.
They buy cars from auction like most but they dont fix them properly before selling..a zip tied water pump to the engine for example..dont buy a car here they are cheap for a reason!
