For example, I bought a gorgeous solid quartz beaded necklace awhile back, and my partner got green agate prayer beads. (Quartz helps raise your vibration & he said the agate felt very grounding.)The small copper bracelet I purchased before the pandemic, and I never took it off. Still looking good 2 years later. The larger ones I got today were $14 each. The copper really helps my wrist pain!Also purchased this Tara goddess today- she was hand painted! She’s going in my studio to help me with art.

This place is so cool. Went in just to see what it was about and walked out with a few things and plans to come back. The gentleman who worked there was exceptionally kind and willing to share information on the piece I bought. I will be back

Be very careful when you buy cloth or things in this store. I have bought a cloth without checking the details when paid. After going home opened it up, I realize the elastic part up is broken. The store owner told me I was too big, so I stuffed the cloth and made it broke. It is very insulting and no exchange or store credit or even helping to fix the cloth was offered.

Beautiful, well-decorated shop that had everything I was looking for (and much more!) for extremely reasonable prices, and the owner was wonderfully kind, informative, and helpful. They had everything from tapestries, books, incense, statues, clothing, jewelry, some small furniture, musical instruments, singing bowls, CDs, home decor, and signage. This shop is not huge, but they pack a lot in a very well organized way (and even use labels! Yay!). We were welcomed in like close friends (it was my and my husbands first visit here) and the owner answered all of our questions and even made fantastic recommendations based on our needs and descriptions of what we were looking for (plus he made us fresh tea!). We loved love LOVED this shop and will definitely be back!

This is the most wonderful shop in Raleigh. It has been my favorite for more than 10 years now. They have the coolest items and very reasonable prices that you dont mind in most other places. In addition, the store owners are the kindest people and the shop itself is a peaceful and positive environment. It is not just a shop, it is an experience and I will always recommend people to check it out!

If you want to see some unique items this is the place. We picked this place at random while in Cary for a two day family anniversary event. The goal was to buy a gift that was unique for a friend. We accomplished that goal and purchased more.The owners were great. They had recently gotten back from a trip to purchase more inventory. I was impressed that they put the effort to personally going to find and aquire their inventory. What they have to sell is authentic to their theme. Everything I purchased was labelled as crafted in that region.

An amazing locally owned shop! This place is super welcoming and friendly. The shop owners are always there and will sometimes offer lemon tea (you should try it!) while you are shopping. The shop is stocked with authentic Himalayan products and you never know what new products are arriving.

This shop is amazing--packed with incredible merchandise priced very reasonably. A great place to find clothing and gifts that you cannot find anywhere else unless you are ready to travel to Tibet! Maybe the best part of the whole shopping experience was the owners. They are lovely people--friendly, extremely helpful and just genuine people. They helped us find what we wanted, made us tea, and were simply beautiful people. I stress this latter point only because I noticed a pretty bad review by someone that was in the store a couple of days ago when I stopped by for my first visit. The little store was packed with people doing Christmas shopping and there was little room to walk around and they seemed to be just chatting away and not shopping. The owner actually asked him nicely to move....oh well....you have to go and see for yourself... Experience the store and meet the owners. You wont be disappointed.

My girlfriend bought me a shirt and a headband from this place that was simply stunning. So, today we returned to look around some more. As soon as we walked in the owners offered us some lemon tea. I am not exaggerating when I say this, I had a headache from a hangover and this tea totally took it away. The woman at the front told me all about Tibetan history, she was so friendly, talkative and accepting. When you walk into this place you feel like family and they treat you as such. I ended up getting a moss agate bracelet that is just beautiful. Their prices are slightly higher in range (but not too bad) depending on what you buy. However, it is worth it because the product you receive is a much higher quality. We will be returning for sure!!

We came into this store and we immediately felt peaceful energy. Ngawang offered us lemon tea and we stayed here for two hours talking with him about his culture and everything in the store.He is a kind soul... and I loved the products so much that I really wish I could buy the whole store. from clothing to singing bowls and jewelry and mediation pillows incense ... all from Nepal. great prices and quality products. we will come back as soon as we are able.!!

In the 90s I got a chance to visit Dharamsala, and while I can no longer travel that far, this is a nice way to go back, the owners are very kind and wish to share their knowledge with you. I brought with me a few stringed instruments and got to talking with the owner about his, and he brought them out and we got them in tune. I was then offered tea and noticed my blood pressure was lower since I was in a relaxed and fun space. Well worth a visit. The only thing missing was my barley soup, maybe someday there will be a place here that offers this.

This is one of my favorite stops in Cary.The owners are wonderfully kind people and offer a delicious lemon honey tea that I would die to have the recipe.They have many wonderful things from Nepal and Tibet and they range from religious items, clothing, books, statues, jewelry and more.The items are unique and make wonderful gifts.

I live out of state and they send packages to me though they are a store primarily. It is the only way for me to have Tibetan items. The mens shirts are both soft and elegant. I will order more items in the future.To have such quality, beauty, and to help Tibetan artisan refugees makes me feel that my money has done more good, even if just a little bit. The store owners are helpful, and willing to look for wish lists. In conclusion, I will do business with Tibetan Himalayan Gift Shop from now on.

I usually love this place but was bummed this time around.I purchased a LOT of clothes back in February and just now got around to exchanging a few of the items that did not work out.All the items had the original tags and not been worn.I was told that there was nothing they could do. Not even a store credit.I next time I go I will try things on before I purchase. I do like their clothes.

Tucked away in a strip mall, this eclectic store has so many hard to find and one-of-a-kind items. Also many items to use for your practice. A wonderful husband and wife own and operate this business. They are always super friendly and very often will offer tea or snacks as soon as you enter their store.

This is a great store with well made authentic cloting and well priced also, the kind of clothing that is very expensive if you buy at an Earthbound or some place like that. Its a family owned buisness and the lady is very sweet and caring. Has some very neat stone jewlery, prayer beads, books on tibetan culture, meditation cushions, thai fishermans pants that are extremely comfortable, and a bunch of stuff I want to buy.
