Great place for great tasting chocolate in different varieties the whole family enjoys!

I decided to treat myself to some super decadent truffles for my birthday. They responded quickly to my email questions and helped me set up an order quickly for my husband to pick up the next time he was in downtown. We got two each of nearly all their flavors. All were yummy but we found we overwhelming love the orange based flavors and have been back since to get more of those. Great service!

Delicious chocolate with many options. You can customize your own box of candy too. If you love chocolate, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Milk and dark chocolate equally yummy, and staff are so very helpful and pleasant. They wrapped my purchase at no cost as a gift and of course we left with chocolate for ourselves!

I stopped in last minute today and it is the cutest chocolate shop I’ve ever seen! They make the chocolate there and are 100% local which I love. The chocolate literally melts in your mouth, you will not be disappointed if you stop by there.

Was there a year ago but they had the best turtles I ever had. Small, quaint setting but heavenly goodies.

Very friendly and welcoming to our residents who have dementia as well as staff. They loved and so did we. Melony is very knowledgeable and even walked us to van with umbrella in the rain. I mean wow! We definitely left with BIG chocolate smiles: ))

This place brought back old memories as it used to be here in Durham on Broad St about 30yrs ago..I loved the ice cream and that time seemed so hopeful..I miss those days.I did love my chocolate covered strawberries..Yum!!!

Loved the hugest chocolate strawberries and the jelly with chocolate over it was so delicious and sweet. My kids loved the rice Krispy chocolate pops.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I went on the web-site just as I had done with other orders during covid and found out that they were taking orders over the phone. I take 30 minutes to get all my orders together for everyone (this is something I do every Valentines Day.) I call to order and was told yeah we just stopped doing that you will have to come in During covid and going in that small of a store. I dont think so. I tell them with covid I will not come in could you please take my order and I was told no. This is the thanks I get for trying to help a small business during this time! Very sad and disappointing service!

Cannot believe Ive lived in NC for 7 years and never tried this place prior to Easter weekend. Their Easter Eggs were DELICIOUS! So many options and very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Will definitely go back for more chocolate/sweet treat need :)

My absolute favorite chocolate!! Just walking in the smell of sweet decadence lures me into treating myself even when Im supposed to be popping in for a gift. It is one of my favorite gifts to give for family, friends, and teachers. The truffles are amazing.My favorites are the milk orange duo, milk orange, milk raspberry, blueberry, champagne, and the cherry. My must have favorite are the caramel clouds- a marshmallow covered in thick caramel and then dipped in luscious chocolate.It can get really busy in there especially around a holiday. Big holidays I try to call ahead and order to skip the wait. However its worth a wait when it tastes this good!

So excited to have come across this place! Ever since a trip to Chicago a few years ago, Ive been in search of a simple vanilla buttercream, and have yet to find one in the area until now. While not open to walk-ins, I called from outside and my order was filled very quickly and friendly-like. :) I now have 12 vanilla buttercreams! Whoops. I now have 10 vanilla buttercreams! They are delicious, the price was beyond reasonable, and I will be back! Thank you so much!

My mother-in-law and I stopped in yesterday, craving something sweet. The first time either of us had ever been there. The lady that greeted us was very sweet very helpful and gave us time to look around on our own, but also let us know because it was our first time in there that we got a free sample of fudge ( which was delicious!) They had a very good selection of chocolates and usually each item had different chocolate options ( like white chocolate turtles, milk chocolate turtles, dark chocolate turtles... You get the point) one of the things I ended up getting was it dark chocolate covered orange peel which was so so good! Im going back again for sure. Perfect for holidays, birthdays, Valentines day or just because!

Been getting boxes of chocolates as gifts from here for a few years. The chocolate is delicious, handmade, and relatively cheap compared to other specialty stores in the area. They don’t have many crazy exotic flavors, but for really good crowd-pleasing varieties they can’t be beat in the Raleigh area. Plus the store is charming and they have plenty of other candies as well.

This place was awesome! I drove 30 mins out of my way to try their treats and it was well worth the drive. The chocolate covered marshmallows are awesome!

The store itself is great, the chocolate is delightful and freshly made, and they always do a great job wrapping boxes.The staff can be nice. However, it seems like theres only a small effort put in to avoid a pretentious tone with every other guest.

An okay place to check out with Godiva store closed @ Crabtree Mall. Located in near the downtown part of Cary. Its a Great mom and pop shop. A good place to check out some chocolate from truffles to fudge. They also have a variety of chocolate gift items available plus a great way to support local community..

Great chocolate! I discovered Chocolate Smiles 3 years ago and have made it my annual pre-Easter splurge. Im never disappointed and Ive purchased a wide variety of chocolate and non-chocolate treats. The staff pack everything up carefully to ensure its not damaged. This year I bought a white chocolate egg filled with chocolate truffles and jelly beans which the owner wrapped in bubble wrap for me when she heard I had to transport it over 3 hrs. I highly suggest trying the Western NY chocolate which is orange flavored milk chocolate. Although Im usually a dark chocolate freak, being from Western NY I had to try it and Im hooked. Its the most awesome flavor and smooth like silk.

Ok - this place is just fantastic. My son loves it, my family loves it, my colleagues love it, and my friends love it. Oh, and I do too. The people are wonderful, the selection is fantastic and creative, and the gift section is absolutely wonderful (with a number of unique items Ive not seen anywhere else, made in Argentina, Germany, the US, etc.). Really cool. Its a destination shop that people come to Cary for. Five stars.

Friendly and reasonably priced for handmade chocolates. Theyve been my go-to shop for birthdays, Valentines Day, anniversaries, and Christmas for the past four years. Gift wrapping in store is also super helpful. Ill take them over the big brands any day.

A huge selection of superb chocolates. You can pick and choose to create the perfect box of chocolates, minus the surprises that you wish you had not bitten into. The friendly, knowledgable staff takes time to help you with your selections. The prices are double, but perfection is worth it and the gift wrapping is free. Take care to beat the busy season.

Go and spend over $10, lol.The chocolate is very good and there are other packaged candy options for those that dont like chocolate. They need you to spend over $10 if you want to use a card but its easy enough to do. Chocolates start at 50 cents. Many to chose from including sugar free options.

They had amazing chocolate strawberries that were not only affordable (which they never are, like anywhere), but also absolutely to die for delicious. Apparently they use fresh picked strawberries (I believe that is what the nice lady at the counter told me).
