Portofino Tile did an amazing job remodeling our master bathroom. I consider myself very picky and we did not have even one issue with Portofino Tile. Their workers were so nice and took great care to keep our home clean during the remodeling process. They finished our bathroom in less than 2 weeks as promised (except for the shower glass, which can only be ordered after the tiling is complete). Being able to pick everything out in one place - their excellent showroom - compared to running all over town to different venders, as all the other remodelers want you to do, made designing a beautiful modern bathroom so easy. I really cant say enough about how pleasant our remodeling experience with Portofino was. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had our master bathroom re designed and updated. Bob did a great job with the design. The field team was great and they were in and out in the 10-12 days as estimated.

Portofino redid our master bath in 2012. They did a fabulous job and truly transformed our space. We especially liked the fast turnaround process - 10 days to a new bathroom was awesome! In addition, the process at Portofino makes it easy to pick the cabinets, flooring, fixtures, etc. and saves you time running all over town making selections. The materials provided have been tested and Portofino has a relationship with their vendors that allows for excellent support after the job as well. We have had a couple of things break and each time have been delighted by the support we have received from Bob and Nicole with the repair. And the standard selections at Portofino make it great when you need to replace tiles for example because there is a high probability that Portofino will have some on hand. That was what happened in our case and we are so glad they had the tiles. The craftsmanship of the work is outstanding - cant tell the difference between the old and new tiles. Portofino continues to exceed our expectations and we are so glad we selected them for our project!

We have had two very good experiences with Portofino Tile. We had our master bathroom remodeled 3 years ago, and then this year we had smaller baths remodeled. Both projects were done in a timely manner and according to the schedule we were given. In fact, the second project was finished a day ahead of schedule. The workmen took care in protecting our floors and other household furnishings and they paid attention to cleaning things up at the end of each day. Juan, the tile setter, and Roger, the carpenter, were both very skilled craftsmen and all of the workmen were neat and courteous. We are very pleased with the improved appearance and increased functionality of all of our bathrooms. We would highly recommend Portofino Tile for their quality work, quick start-to-finish process, and smooth overall operation.

Ive wanted a bigger master bathroom for a while now. I called Portofino Tile and was amazed at how knowledgeable they and their guidance in the design process. They gutted my bathroom and linen closet to form a much larger bathroom with a two person jacuzzi tub and separate sinks for my husband and me. I now have a huge vanity with a seated area and plenty of room for all my beauty products.Their work was top notch and I felt comfortable with the crew being in my house when I was there alone.Im so happy with my fancy new bathroom!

I loved working with Portofino Tile and Bath (Bob and Nicole). The store selection is great and you can make all your decisions in the store. The job was done by an excellent crew in a very short amount of time. They have the remodel process down to a science. Quality products and workmanship.

I contacted Portofino to get an estimate on remodeling my master bath. Bob was great and explained the process that his team would employ to complete my project. When the crew came to begin the project, they were courteous and thorough in their preparation, installation and clean up. The job was completed beyond my satisfaction and I would definitely use them again for other bathroom remodeling projects.

Rude,Unprofessional

We decided to update our master bathroom & our guest bathroom in our home that was built in 1998. After some research & a couple of interviews & visits by contractors, we picked Portofino Tile, and we have been very happy with our choice.After Bobs initial visit to our home, we had a meeting in Portofinos large showroom to make most of the design & material decisions. Bob was most helpful (I dont like having a lot of options) & being able to walk around & see actual fixtures & tile was great.Our second visit to the showroom was to review the plans Bob had designed. It was an easy, stress free meeting & we left with a positive outlook.We were out of town for most of the actual deconstruction/reconstruction so we dont know what it is like to be home during major remodeling. But we were delighted with the work & the professionalism of all of the tradesmen.

Portofino tile did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom. They were very professional and finished the whole process in less than a week! Id highly recommend Bob and his crew for your master bathroom renovation.

I called to ask some questions and the person that answered the phone was very rude and inpatient. When I told him what I was looking for he basically said that he doesn’t do that and hung up. By what he said it made me feel like the job was too small and he wanted nothing to do with it. If he would have been nicer and ask a couple more questions he would have found out that I am also remodeling two bathrooms. I have never written a review before but this guy was just so rude. If he is this rude and short with people on the phone I can’t imagine how rude and short he is in person, I would stay away from this one.

We were given a quote before we had made our selections. I wasnt allowed to share the quote with my partner as it was stored in a manila folder at the store. We were told to Google the type of sink we liked as North Carolina tends to be a bit traditional in its décor style. In fact, we had seen the sink style all over the internet and they are readily available. The experience was a total fail.

I walked in to try get help with a bathroom shower and tile floor job. Apparently, my job was too small as the owner basically told us he refused to do even discuss our job any further. He was rude and condescending. I live in an executive home and have future bathroom work that I will need to have done. I would not even consider walking back in the store.
