I will never stop here, because a racial comment was made to a friends sweet daughter. The guy behind the counter needs to communicate better and not be so rude!! Word of mouth can ruin a business!!

The guy behind the register needs a lot of lessons on customer service. Extremely rude and accused friends of stealing carbonated soft drinks. Get real you cant hide a 32oz. stating he is the owner and was calling cops. Big time power trip. Zero stars.

Yesterday on our way home from an awesome weekend camping and doing fun things with the kids, we stopped at a small gas station in Carthage, Missouri. (The Corner) My biracial (half Sri Lankan) 13 year old went in to use the bathroom. When she asked where the bathroom was the older man behind the counter told her it was no good. She stood there a moment because she thought maybe he was joking. He then said, what, dont you speak English? Even though she had just asked him, in English, where the bathroom was. She came back out to the car and didnt say anything to us other than the bathroom wasnt working. We left and found a different gas station. At the next gas station she told me what the man said to her. This weighed heavy on my mind all night. This morning I called the gas station and asked if there were problems with the bathroom working. The man that answered stuttered, stammered, sounded nervous and said that sometimes there were. I then asked for the name of the owner or the name of the man working last night and he told me I couldnt have it and hung up on me. So, in the year 2017, my 13 year old daughter was denied access to a bathroom based on the color of her skin. This is not okay.
