I dont understand the negative reviews. I am very pleased with the service, the testing, the product. Staff: friendly, courteous, competent. The hearing test confirmed I needed help hearing. Very long test, but my tech - Judy - was patient, explained each section, answered my questions and concerns, and was very pleasant and personable. She projected a very caring and professional attitude. Later when I went in to get the hearing aids, she was equally professional and thorough. Now several months later, I am fully adapted to the aids. I love that the control app on my phone allows me to make fine-tuned adjustments for the individual environments and conditions. I can save the adjustments to reuse - for example, Back seat of car is pretty self explanatory: I increased the speech frequency and decreased the car engine and road frequencies. Incredible improvement. Judy showed me how to do it and now I have several go-to saved programs. I highly recommend this Costco Hearing Center.

I bought some high end hearing aids from Costco and used them for awhile. After determining they didnt really work for me I tried to return them. First attempt was at the main register and was told it has to go thru the Hearing center. So I tried that and they were closed. They have different hours so I had to come back again. This time they didnt want to return the aid but adjust them. I made an appointment to came back but they cancelled that appointment and made it for a different day. Problem is Im out of town more than I am in town so after a few tries I gave up returning them. Let me tell you what the problem is ................... if there are people that talk quietly or mumble etc.............. you still wont be able to understand them, but they will be much louder ! Most of the people I couldnt understand without the hearing aids, I still cant understand. Seems certain frequencies are harder to hear as we get older and there isnt much you can do for that. They try to adjust that at Costco, but its annoying at best to still have to ask people to repeat even tho I have the hearing aids in. Other less important areas seem better or louder. Certainly not the solution I was hoping for. Never an easy answer for a complex problem I guess.

This is the second round of defective aids. Long wait times. Difficulty in getting response. 10 days to replace product. Could not get appt with tech a week out. Seems like this operation is understaffed and has more than it can handle.
