The owners (wife and husband I’m assuming) are incredibly kind and hospitable. My boyfriend and I are not from Carson City, we are here just for a good adventure. We stopped inside to see what kind of coins they have for our fathers who collect coins. The owners went in depth in detail for every coin and they really knew their stuff! After the transaction they even helped recommend us lots of cool places to explore and eat at. I would definitely come back here to buy more coins, they have a huge selection and a bountiful of knowledge about them. The pricing of the coins vary but there is something for everyone. They were just a lovely couple!

We went to see Carson City for a first time and the other famous coins shop was the main destination. Then awesome Nevada State Museum. Then State Capital Building was open too. But the most fun we had at the AJs small and cozy shop. The stories were pouring from the memories, we laughed and had a such a good time we almost forgot to buy anything. Zero pressure - they were just educating our 10-year old son about scholarships available and whole intriguing coin-world. I came here to sell my gold coins and this is by far the best experience Ive had with a coin dealer. Arri is beyond fair and knows exactly what hes talking about. He even stayed past his closing time to give me a quote. Before visiting the store, I researched the value of my gold coins and Arri was right on point. I even went to Northern Nevada Coin to compare and Arris bid was higher. (He stayed an extra 10 minutes just in case I came back, which I did). Im had a great experience doing business with A.J., this guy will not gouge you if you choose to purchase rare metals, hes extremely fair which is exceptionally rare.The guys very cool, well connected and the shops got easy access and isnt in a scary area either. He took care of me and got me exactly what I wanted and I am sure youll have as good an experience as I have. If youre going abroad he handles currency too which is a must before you go somewhere that has different money so you dont get screwed using dollars and getting change back thats not dollars.
