Our move was handled professionally and smoothly and we couldn’t have been happier. Our contractors in the new house were running late so we bought burgers so they could relax and have lunch (though we had no furniture left unloaded in our old house). They enjoyed it then moved us into the new house like a charm. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed! We used IMS to store and then move our belongings between Dallas and Austin. They did a reasonable job on the move but we did have some minor damage of some of our belongings. Thats where the disappointment began. The company has been completely unresponsive in dealing with our very modest claim. Our move was completed in November of last year and our claim filed in February. While they remained open during the COVID shut-down, they have failed to respond to any phone call to complete the claim process. Especially disappointed in Stephanie Miller (in the claims department). She will not respond to e-mails or phone calls to resolve this issue.I dont usually right negative reviews; however, I seem to have no other choice but to share my disappointment in this company publicly at this point.As some damage is typical during moves; being able to promptly deal with reasonable claims is an important part of serving their customers. Ive posted a picture of an example of the damage being claimed.Cant recommend these guys.

Wow! Unbelievably easy move working with IMS. From the consultation to the final checklist, 100% perfect and professional. The outstanding loading crew was only topped by the unload crew. Every single item we packed showed up perfect and in the same condition as when they were loaded. I couldnt give more praise to this company. During the worst cold spell in the Fort Worth area in some time, the IMS packing team came to our home and got all of our stuff packed in two days. They did this with power on and off, cold temperatures and without complaint. They set the tone for the moving team that came in on the third day and miraculously was done putting it all on the truck in one day! They gave us a day to ourselves to close on our home. The continuous power outages, cold temperatures and long hours that the IMS team endured, was amazing. They treated our items with care, our home with kid gloves - not damaging anything in the home and loaded all of our items bound for Hawaii. Use this company! They are rock stars!

While our overall experience was positive I was extremely disappointed in the response to our claim. I understand it is reasonable that some damage might occur during a move. That is why we bought the insurance, thinking it would cover our losses. Bottom line - the insurance is a waste of money if they dont even take your claim seriously. They covered 7% of our claim, after deducting the $900 we paid for insurance. To me that is not a good return on our trust in the company. Our claim was justified with proven damages and took four months to resolve NOT to my satisfaction. Just leaves a very sour memory in what could have been a very positive experience.

IMS moved my daughter and son-in-law on a local move here in Dallas. I was the primary contact for IMS Relocation as my daughter is eight months pregnant and my son-in-law was working. Gabriel and his crew of movers were fantastic. They worked their tail off, were polite, professional and extremely careful with their possessions. I really admired their teamwork - virtually every member of the team worked together to lift the heavy stuff, take cribs apart and put them back together and support each other while having fun. They really did an exceptional job! Gabriel was an absolute pleasure to work with. I give them my highest recommendation. This was a full day job with two trucks from one house to another - and we are so happy we chose IMS.

I am retired and moved from Texas to Oregon using United in Carrollton, Texas. Stephen Coomber was my initial point of contact and I absolutely loved that man. Be sure and ask for him. I was really afraid of the cost involved and getting overcharged. I had read about one national moving company that had a contract prohibiting customers from writing a bad public reviews, not that I would, but it makes you wonder how bad they are that they would go to such lengths to prevent reviews. However, Stephen Coomber of United was so kind and as it turned out, ended up giving me the lowest price of 3 bids.He held my hand every step of the way and regularly checked with me to see if I needed anything. I knew I could trust him not to take advantage of me. He even offered me free used boxes, including those big nice wardrobe boxes, wrapping paper and picture boxes.It was so exciting to see that big, beautiful United Van pull up on moving day. I had to take a picture. It was my first move with a major, national moving company. They really are the Rolls Royce of movers. Four men came. They carefully wrapped my furniture in quilts, and then in plastic. They put extra tape around some boxes I packed. They were meticulous!Once my furniture was on the road, I received regular status reports until the day it finally arrived. Again, the United movers in Oregon were extremely careful with my goods and even tightened the legs of one piece that came loose.My daughter and son-in-law also used United for their move from Texas to Oregon a year ago. They experienced the same exceptional professionalism and thoroughness.I strongly recommend United, and if you can, ask for Stephen Coomber. I am recommending United to others in the family that may be moving to Oregon from Texas. United is the best. It just doesn’t get any better.

Last summer we had IMS Relocation move us out of our house for a remodel, store our items, and then deliver our things back to us. We were impressed with the initial professionalism and with the quality of the packers and the truck crew. John Matthew Castillo and sons were the crew in charge of loading and delivering our things to storage and were also the crew who returned them to our home, setting up beds and putting together what had been taken apart for the move. Storage of our things for 3 months also went off without a hitch. We are a military family, so we have experienced many, many moves and this was definitely one of the best. The pricing was fair and we had no problems.

This was the most wonderful company to do business with. From the first conversation to the final signature. They were all so caring, honest and ethical. The team they sent went way beyond the call of duty. They moved a load of furniture and boxes from 3 offices and helped us in so many ways. Initial service was great, but downhill from there. Packing day a bit frantic, as the packers didnt bother noticing outdoor patio items and garage gym items until last minute and they clearly rushed them onto the truck. On delivery, heavy gym equipment had fallen on top of several items - a 50 TV (display cracked), a Green Egg ceramic grill was damaged (chipped, nest bent, warranty voided) and a metal grill was damaged (bent/warped so not level and cabinet doors do not work) . Various pieces of exercise equipment also bent/damaged (spin bike and rowing machine). Also, a metal patio table broke at a joint. I havent listed all items damaged for sake of brevity. For all of this damage they offered $890 (purchased full replacement insurance, not partial). Damage was determined by a third party inspector that they themselves chose. When I asked to see the third party report I was denied and told it was proprietary and then sent a letter that said various things such as TV damage from truck vibration isnt covered. When I have pictures of gym equipment on top of the TV that is busted and the delivery crew manager apologizing for the state of the truck... this is just blatant gas lighting. I will update this review after I finish in small claims court.

We selected IMS Relocation to pack our belongings, move them to storage, store them for 2 months and then deliver them the approximately 9 miles from our old house to our new home. The people who packed our belongings did a good job as did those who moved our belongings to storage. The people who delivered our belongings did a good job. They did some minor damage to our new home which they pointed out to us and told us to report to IMS to get it repaired. Repairs were made to our satisfaction. I recommend using IMS Relocation.

Moving is never fun; however, the team at IMS Relocation service made the actual move easiest part of the relocation. Having worked at U-Haul as a high school kid, Ive moved a lot of people - Moves were always messy. Now it was my turn to have someone move me. These were not some high school kids, rather a great group of professional movers that made the move itself the easist part of the transition. I would highly recommend the IMS Relocation team. Competitively priced, professional and most importantly very good.

We had hired them to pack our home, which was over 6000 square feet, 6 bedrooms, media room, kitchen, pool house, etc. . They had come out to the house to see how much stuff we had . The first day they were scheduled to start packing, they sent two packers, who worked carefully... but SLOwLY ! We were on a time line because we had to have the house packed before we left town. Each day we begged for more packers, as 2 people would have taken a week to pack the house . After the second day, when we continued to stress the importance of getting it packed by the deadline, they finally sent more packers the next day . They missed a huge section of the kitchen, which we discovered after they were gone. They chipped the edge of our outdoor stone table in multiple places . Overall, very stressful and not a great experience. And not cheap.

I cannot recommend this agent for Mayflower, which is unfortunate. The pre-move and actual move experience was very good. The after-move experience is terrible. I filed a claim for 3 items damaged during the move. It has been 5 months and the claim is still not settled. The Claims Company, Estes Relocation hardly returns emails, and never returns phone calls. I was told in late January that my claim settlement would be complete by end of week, then again in late February that my claim settlement would be sent. It is now late March and no settlement has been received.I have talked with Stephanie at IMS, who has assured me she will help me, but again, no help from her.I have another move to complete, but it will not be with this agent.

Mike was great while trying to get our business. Talked me into letting him store our stuff because if we needed anything he would be happy to locate it and bring it to me. Once I actually needed something he wouldnt return phone calls and then when he finally did I had to go to his place and look through the boxes to find what I needed. He told me that the boxes labeled living room would be out and waiting for me. When I arrived they werent even aware I was coming so I had to wait for them to pull the crates out and open them. This process took over 45 minutes. If I had stored by things close to homelike Id planned it would have been much easier. While going through the storage I found a panty box labeled rental. It was suppose to come to the regal house instead of going to the storage. Im just glad it wasnt food. We have several boxes come tonight rental that were suppose to go to storage. I asked 2 weeks ago for them to be picked up. The guys came today to get them and they were sent to our home instead of the rental. Im not really sure how this business stays open if Mike is this unorganized. Im afraid to see what our items will look like by the time we get them back. I was also told their storage was climate controlled. Our things were stored in wooden boxes in an open warehouse.

IMS helped put me in storage in their warehouse back in September 2009. The process was quick, easy and inexpensive, as was the climate controlled storage units I rented. After more than 4 years I have finally moved out of storage and I cant be more pleased. I did a self-move rather than have IMS move for me to save a little money, but this did not affect their customer service in any way at all. They were ready for my son-in-laws arrival with the truck for moving on the day planned, had a team of people to help him inventory and then load my things and were professional and courteous and helpful to him and me at all times. When I began unpacking my belongings once here at the end of the move, I was amazed at the care and skill with which my (priceless to me) things were packed. I have not come across one item that was damaged or broken and I am more than 97% unpacked at this point so I have faith the remainder of my things will be in perfect condition as well. I highly recommend this company for storage and moving. Thanks IMS for taking such good care of my things while I was unable to have them with me!

The packers were undermanned but capable. The loading crew was good. But the moving company lost several items in storage,including a Weber grill and a 7 foot long European workbench. The crew that unloaded our goods damaged some bookshelves beyond repair. Worst of all, we have yet to receive a fair response from the companys insurance firm...an inadequate offer of settlement came months after we filed our claim. We cannot recommend IMS or its entities at present. Revision: at last we received a settlement for our lost and damaged goods. While it was not what we thought just, it was adequate. Be sure you take photographs of all items before they are packed and be sure to supervise the unloading yourself. Regarding the response from the owner below, our furniture was delivered August 9, 2016 our claim submitted in Sept, but we did not finally settle with the company until, I believe, March 2017.

What started out as a great experience has turned into a nightmare. The company was prompt to come out and estimate our move. They were on time to pack our belongings. They were ontime to load/move out our belongings. At this time, per the contract, they had 10 days to get our items to our home in Missouri. On the 9th day, they called advising that this would not occur. At that time it would be sometime 1-2 weeks later. Our items are currently in Des Moines, Iowa. They will not move our items because we are too far out of a metropolitan area. They are awaiting more people to move to our area before moving our items. Our move coordinator has said that it is not cost effective or convenient for them to move our stuff at this time. Our contract had our new location. They knew how far out we will live from a major city. It does not matter to them at this point. In the mean time, we are living on an air mattress in an empty house. No concern or compassion has been given. No solid date has been given. Beware of signing any contracts, they essentially mean nothing to United Van Lines.

Terrible service, Buyer BEWARE! Completely unprofessional service! Continuously giving us the run around! We were relocating from Germany because my husband retired from 20 years in the Army. We never expected that the military would entrust our items with such a company. We will be taking steps to ensure that no other service member (or person for that matter) uses this company or if you chose to use them at the we least you will know our experience. We will be filing a formal complainant with the Department of Defense to ensure that this company is black listed and not used again. We’re also retaining legal representation to peruse legal action!Our furniture was delivered in December 2017, the delivery people were kind and did their job properly. They made sure items that were damaged or lost were reported on the damaged/missing form and pictures were taken. We submitted our claim in March 2018. We didnt hear anything from the company for 2 months. It wasn’t until we called the company in May. We talk to the manager of the claim department. She claimed not to have received anything email from us, on the same day I forwarded the email again. She promise to get back to us but no responds. At the beginning of June we called her again. This time she gave us several excuses, she couldn’t get to the email at that time cause she needed to restart her computer but again promise to get back to us. It went silent again. June 4, my husband got tired of hearing excuses, he decided to call and speak with Stephanie M. She confirm receiving the email and stated she would send an inspector to see the things that were damaged. We received an acknowledgment email that day….Wow. We thought, finally things are going to be smooth from that point. The next day I received a call from the inspector and scheduled the inspection. The inspector stated to me that it would only take about two days to file his report then submit all papers and picture to the company. He also said that the company should call me in about 5-7 days. Great we thought!! Time went by… now comes July as we didn’t hear anything from Mrs. Stephanie M., we decided to give her a call and to see where the process is at, she said that she had send us an email, which we never received, she immediately forwarded an email. After 3 month of complete silence, we sent Mrs Stephanie M. another email last week (09/19/2018), she still hasn’t responded. We called today (09/25/2018). Her excuse is she was not at work last week and just started working yesterday(09/24/2018). Now here’s something we didn’t expect, magically she couldn’t get access to her computer(sound familiar???). Her internet went out(another one we’ve heard before), then she needed to reboot her computer(déjàvu) . She took my phone number and promised to return my call, here’s another twist to the story, surprise no call(it’s almost as if I’ve heard this all before).

We used IMS to remove and return our furniture after we had our hardwood floors refinished. They damaged some of our furniture, door jams, baseboards and more. They tell me they want me to be made whole but refuse to respond to my emails over the past 18 plus months. We had our attorney send a certified letter to Mike Lohner (Owner) with no response. My attorney is now going to file against IMS this week. A reputable company would want to make good on the damages their employees caused. I hated to even give IMS one star. Be WARE!

I cannot explain the depth of gratitude I have for Mike and his team.  We had water damage in our home which caused our floors both tile and hardwood to be replaced.  We were blessed to meet with Mike Lohner from IMS Relocation to go over the process.  He was very nice and professional.  He worked well with the schedule our contractor (Richard Williams and Associates) had in place.  When the decision was made to start the packing process Tony, Warner and Lucio came to our home to pack up the  accessories, dishes, pictures, food etc.  They took pictures of everything stored inside of the cabinets, drawers, closets and also the pictures on the wall so they would know where to return everything.  They were so professional and very hard working.  Once they boxed everything up, they stacked the boxes neatly for the next crew to come and load onto the truck.Rito, Bobby and Ken came the next day to pack and load up all the furniture and the boxes.  They were so good!  They arrived in an 18 wheeler.  They loaded up each container until it was full and locked it in front of us.  It doesnt get unlocked until the furniture is returned.  Rito, Bobby and Ken had the best personalities and truly cared about what they were doing.  They made me feel like we had been friends for years!There was an electrician and and someone who disconnected the computer and TVs as well.  My apologies to them, I was not home when they came so I didnt get their names but everything was neatly done and I appreciate everything they did!This has been an terrific experience for me and my family.  IMS really set the tone!  I have truly enjoyed the entire experience.  Everyone at IMS is terrific and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is need of relocating in the future!

Mike Laner with IMS Relocation is great. He is a big supporter of our local community, so I used him to move from Valley Ranch to Dallas. He was reasonably priced and did everything he said he was going to do.

This was the most horrible experience ever! Very unprofessional, broke and scratched things. Accused me of stealing a ladder then when he found out the truth that it was in another room no apology. Cost 500 dollar just for loading the truck and not moving or unloading. Do not use!

After move the company did not wanted to pay for damages . I do not recommend

Dangerous on the road cut people off without turn signals. Ran a red light, and stopped almost into the dart track. All on a residential 2 lane street valwood while going 45mph in a 30mph zone.

Initially things went great. Now am needing a couple of items from storage. Got ahold of Mike and he said could set time to come go thru containers. Decided I’d make life easier for all and just need one large piece which should be easy to locate bc if it’s 8’ x 8’ size. We are remodeling and builder needs this piece to hang and create bracing. Have texted, emailed and called and can’t get Mike Loaner to respond???? Not great follow-up and am very frustrated.

Worst moving experience ever. Items were shipped to the wrong state. Were eventually delivered a week past the delivery range. Company refused to take responsibility.
