Close to work and the employees now what I want

Stopped at store to put air in my tire. Machine took my money ($1.50) but gave no air. Asked for assistance by store clerk who said machine does not work. When asked for refund clerk dismissed me and said machine does not belong to the store and to contact owner. When asked How? was told to look for a phone number on the machine. Store clerk knew machine did not work but did not bother to put a notice on it. If machine is on store property there exists a moral responsibility to at least assist store customers. The Not My Problem attitude is whats wrong with this country and culture. I will NEVER return to this store. And I Keep My Word
