Shaun is a wonderful mechanic. We were traveling across the country and had a mystery substance leaking from our car. He immediately diagnosed the problem and drove to get the required parts. Not to mention, we had a pretty complex problem and he completed the problem in an unbelievable time frame. He communicated effectively, diagnosed the problem quickly, found the correct parts instantly and went above and beyond any mechanic would do to help us out in a time of need.BOTTOM LINE:1. Had a great experience at Hughes Automotive. My car broke down an hour outside of town and Hughe waited after hours for me to get to his shop. He then proceeded to stay at the shop for another two hours to get the ball rolling on my repair since I was just passing through town. He even gave me a ride to my hotel. Awesome guy, honest mechanic! Highly recommended.

At $95/hr just to check your vehicle and see whats wrong I think thats way to steep. And once he figures that out you can only imagine how long hell take to fix it. Theres plenty of other mechanics wanting the business without the steep charge for diagnostics.

Shawn has done a couple of lifts on both my new trucks over the last few years. He knows what hes doing and his prices are fair. Thank you Shawn!

Took my car in for a sensor issue dropped it off and went home.later that day my brother called me said he saw me driving around town. Then i had another friend tell me he saw my car at lowes and a guy got out of itI did not go to lowes that day. Shaun the mechanic was out driving my car running errands and also drove it home for the night.i dont know about you but i dont like anybody joy riding in my car and taking it home treating it like its there own personal car when it has issues already.Next day i texted him with no response and tried calling no response.Drove by his shop 1 pm no one was there called again no response. Finally later that day drove back over and thankfully he was there.He ended up putting new sparks plugs, which ended up still not fixing my problem with the sensors. The sensor issue turned off but later that day turned back on. Then i had to go back because he forgot to put back on my engine cover and then ended up stripping one of the bolts so now the engine cover is not on right.End of day i payed 260 for 6 sparks plugs and a stripped bolt and extra miles on my car from him driving it around town and taking it home for the night.not professional at all. Do not recommend

Alternator burnt while visiting Carlsbad Caverns, Friday afternoon @ 3 pm. This guy had me back on the road by 6 pm. Was great!
